Author Dezi Shepperd celebrates her picture book Cassidy and the Mixed Up Numbers. This book gives us a look into the life of a child who struggles with dyscalculia. Often called "Math dyslexia" dyscalculia makes it difficult for some to perform basic math functions. Dezi tells us this book was inspired by her own life experiences and tells us how she was able to overcome this learning challenge.
