Build Your Village

Florence Ann Romano is on the #ReadingWithYourKids #Podcast to encourage us all to build our own essential village. Anyone who has followed Florence knows how much of an advocate she is for the village. Florence tells us that when she was growing up she was lucky enough to have so many amazing people supporting her. Between my grandparents, parents and family friends, she grew up learning that building your village is essential. We’ve all heard the phrase, “It takes a village.” When it comes to parenting, it really does take a community effort to make magic happen! Building a village as a mama is not just great for your little ones, it's also an important piece in helping us survive the challenges we face every day. And even if you’re not a parent, it’s still beneficial to have a support system.
