It is to God that we must come for life.
Even when the enemy speaks evil, we will wait with good words
When we thirst for God’s righteousness, we will be satisfied.
God’s help is unchanging; let us not be faltering helps.
To say God is the rock who is higher than I, is to glorify God
God uses us to accomplish his works.
Waiting in God is a way of expressing the glory and honour of God.
Psalms with hard words reveal God’s heart
Even in a cave of despair, David glorifies God.
Learn the stories of God’s works and grow in faith.
Where does your heart lie with thoughts like these?
Don’t wait until you’re in trouble to call to God for help.
With wickedness as far as the eye can see, can God still save?
Take the time to read 1 Samuel 21-22, the context from which this psalm arises.
Are you letting your spirit be touched by the psalms?

Sometimes we need to simply praise God.
God is our present help.
Do you think we will ever see a ruler this wonderful?
We all need God’s help — every one of us.
Only God can illuminate our life.
Let us praise God together, not alone
God does not remove every problem, but he will surely help.
What God did for us in the past guilds our faith in what he will do for us in the future.
God lives outside our vain world and helps us see beyond it
God is willing to help us with guilt and shame
What better blessing than to inherit the land of the Lord?
