Ron White, Karl Carter and Dave Powell -- the three candidates in the Ray County eastern commissioner's race -- provide their respective stances on issues that include the county's role in fighting the opioid epidemic and in addressing pandemic-related issues. 

This is the first part of a three-part election preview. Part II is scheduled to go live Oct. 19, with the finale slated for Oct. 26.
