Sometimes we find surprises in the Bible where man focus is on one thing. God sometimes focuses on something else. Pastor Ray Bentley brings us a case in point. Here is a woman, Rahab, the harlot, whose faith is so great that she is included in the Hall of Fame or the Hall of Fame in Hebrews 11. Rahab is right along with Moses, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, and all the rest spread.
Pastor Ray Bentley takes us to a critical moment in Joshua's life, when he faced an overwhelming obstacle and cried out to the Lord and Joshua begged and sought God for wisdom. What are we to do? What is the plan? I need divine guidance. As you were with Moses. You said you would be with me. Help me Lord. Suddenly Joshua saw something that made him freeze.
Pastor Ray Bentley points out, in the midst of a difficult life, remember we serve a powerful God. Life and real faith will stretch, challenge you, and will take you to the end of yourself. Life and its test will reveal what do you really believe and what do you really love about your father in heaven? But we are to ascend, to believe and obey a God who can even raise the dead.
astor Ray Bentley says, our walk of faith today is reminiscent of the walk of faith of the father of the faith, Abraham. When we heard the gospel itself, we heard the Word of God. And through the word we heard the voice of the Lord himself calling us, saying, come, follow me. Every single one of us. Who then said, yes, Lord, I will follow you began a holy pilgrimage.

Here is a sign that you are growing spiritually, and that is that when you hear what God says, there is a emotional response to what is happening. It is not a healthy sign to just look at it and be flat emotionally, and it could be a sign that you're not mingling faith with what God is having to say.
Happiness in life doesn't come by direct pursuit. Pastor Ray Bentley says it comes by fulfilling our God given purpose in life. The Bible says that what we were really made for is to bring pleasure to God and in so doing, fulfilling the reason that we exist. Then in return, we experience more love, more peace, more joy, more pleasure than we could have ever dreamed, and a hundred lifetimes spread.
Pastor Ray Bentley explains why faith is the evidence of things unseen. Every time you see leaves blowing, that's evidence that there really is wind. And so also every physical evidence that you see, you know, the planets, the stars, the sun and the moon, everything in this galaxy. And then in fact, the entire universe is evidence of the invisible God who created all things and spoke all things into existence spread.
The unseen world and the physical world are just separate, as we might think. Today, pastor Ray Bentley points out, they're inseparably linked together through God Himself. Everything that is seen was made by that which is invisible. That's true, isn't it? In fact, if you can see something with substance and physical tangibility to it, it's proof that it's made of something invisible, spreading.
Do you need some encouragement today? Well, pastor Ray Bentley points out the words of reassurance we find from today's study. God is saying to you, I see your life. I know exactly what's going on in your mind, in your heart. I know the pressures. I know what you're going through physically. I know where you are. Emotional. It's all right in front of me.

Here's what I've learned about God. God is fair. Fair would be. You guys blew it. I'm done with you. I'm starting over again. Beyond fair is you blew it.
When our hearts are right with the Lord. Pastor Ray Bentley says, we really have nothing to fear. Not now, not tomorrow. Not even on the day of Judgment. There is a day of judgment coming. And so you know, when you know the Lord and you love the Lord, and you want to honor the Lord and bless him. Then judgment is nothing to fear.
Pastor Ray Bentley explains why having a relationship with the Lord is so important. If you choose to reject God from your life, you'll find it. Then you'll probably step on people, even in your own family. And the further you go along that path, the more fear will come in your life, and the more fear in your life, the more lonely and isolated you will become.

God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. Pastor Ray Bentley says God is self-sufficient, but he also yearns to have a relationship with us. It's amazing to me that God wants to be loved. God wants to be sought after. God wants to be desired. God reveals his glory in order that he might be pursued. Spreading disease. All of his people coming down before the king.
Pastor Ray Bentley points out how blood is the key to life, both physically and spiritually. God put a crimson river system within us that brings life just like out in the desert. You put a stream and you put water through it and things obviously begin to grow. And there's greenery. So God put life. Don't ever be afraid or ashamed of the blood of Jesus.
How complete is the remission of our sins in Christ? Pastor Ray Bentley has the answer. When God forgives your sins by the blood of Jesus, it's not like the the print on my page or writing something on a paper and getting out an eraser and erasing it. The idea of forgiveness that is talked about biblically goes beyond that.
Pastor Ray Bentley points out, God doesn't just forgive sins, he wipes them out. When God raises your sins. It's as though they never happened in the beginning. And then God says, I will remember your sins no more. Don't be ashamed of the blood of Jesus Christ. It's powerful. That's why the enemy is attacking the blood and the cross and the uniqueness of Jesus Christ right now.

Sin is responsible for disease, death, the plague, war, evil, selfishness, greed all the rest of it is because of our separating ourselves from God. So we want to be reconciled to him the only way. In the pages of the Old Testament, we read that sacrifices were required to cover the sins of God's people. Pastor Ray Bentley says that was then. This is now how thankful we are that when finally Jesus came, the Lamb of God, then he has dealt with our sins once and for all. God doesn't need any more sacrifices for all time and all eternity.
Pastor Ray Bentley with an interesting fact about the New Covenant. There is no covenant made with the church per se. There's only one covenant called the New Covenant and the New Covenant, according to Jeremiah and now quoted in Hebrews, was made with the house of Israel and the house of Judah. The church doesn't exist until acts chapter two, when the Holy Spirit is poured out and they get graft in to the original covenant spread.
Today, pastor Ray Bentley points out, we often think about getting into heaven, but we don't often think about heaven getting into us. Heaven has already entered you. The Lord is what heaven's all about. Wherever Jesus is is heaven. There's heaven in you. But if you want to experience more heaven, you have to seek the Lord. Those who seek after me with everything they've got will find me spread.
Pastor Ray Bentley points out power and authority in the business world. You've seen it. How many people work for you? The one who reaches the top of the ladder gets all the other people to serve him. And the more people you have serving you, the bigger that you are. You can't get any higher than Jesus. He's seated next to God the Father and what does he do with all power and all authority?
Pastor Ray Bentley says we should intercede for others just as Jesus intercedes for us before the father. Jesus loves you, therefore he talks. Intercession means prayer. He talks to his Father about you because he loves you. When you and I grow in love, we'll start talking to God about our family and our loved ones. Love for God will bring a love for people in our lives.
In the Old Testament. Priests and their idiosyncracies would come and go. But pastor Ray Bentley says, under the New Covenant, Jesus is our priest. The beauty of the New covenant and our perfect grace Jesus. Number one, he is a man. So he resonates with us, but also he is perfect. He never has a bad day. He is always the same.
Ever wonder what God may have been thinking and giving us the law? Pastor Ray Bentley says it's God's message about an eternal truth. You guys don't understand how radical sin is. Therefore, I'm going to give you an original covenant. The law and in the law, I will teach you the radical nature of my holiness, and I will teach you how radical sin is.
Pastor Ray Bentley says those who followed God in the Old Testament yearn for the same thing that New Testament believers do. Access to God was the goal of every believer in the law. They wanted to access into God's presence. It would mean that if you were accepted into the presence of God, that your sins had been forgiven. And it also coming into the presence of the Lord would involve an exposure to the glory of his holiness.
An uncomfortable dose of truth from pastor Ray Bentley. There are enemies who want to rob and steal and kill and take captive your precious children. It might be your own son or your own daughter. It might be literally a niece or nephew. It might be your grandchildren. That's why in every generation God says, I need men and women of faith.
Pastor Ray Bentley draws on Paul's rich assurances about the steadfastness of our salvation. There is an eternal security of salvation for those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ, and a full assurance of hope to the end. As long as we continue to walk with him and not become sluggish, but imitating those who, through faith and patience, inherit the promises spread.
Sin separates us from God. But pastor Ray Bentley reminds us God is an expert at forgiving sin. For we know that God is gracious. God is merciful. God is long suffering. God is patient. We know that he doesn't reward us according to our iniquities. But as high as the heavens are above the earth, so are his mercies toward those who love him.
Pastor Ray Bentley points out, God is looking for conduits of blessing, not repositories, a mark of spiritual growth and maturity as being able to share biblical truth with others. It's not a personal bless me club. It's not just all about you, it is about others beginning with outside of you to God and loving him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.
