Prince Iaukea defends the TV title against Ultimo Dragon, and the scheduled main event pits The Giant against Scotty Steiner.
On WWF Raw, Shawn Michaels cuts a promo on Bret Hart while the Hitman is in South Africa. Stone Cold Steve Austin has to wrestle twice but he gets a reward for doing so, another PPV match against Bret at In Your House: Revenge of the Taker.
