Reliving The War Episode 71 - February 17th 1997

It's the night after WWF In Your House: 13 "Final Four" and there's a new WWF Champion in town. Bret Hart won the Final Four match and because Shawn Michaels forfeited the title, The Hitman is now the WWF Champion. Tonight on Raw, Bret has to defend the championship against Sycho Sid. The match gets restarted twice due to interference from Stone Cold Steve Austin.

On Monday Nitro, Roddy Piper is getting prepared for Superbrawl by locking himself up in Alcatraz. Hulk Hogan is in the arena while Piper gets himself in a warped frame of mind for the big pay per view. Elsewhere on the show, Dean Malenko takes on Robbie Brookside, Debra continues to confuse Mongo, and The Outsiders hand over a tape fearuing a Steiner Brothers automobile accident.
