On Raw The Big Show is disputes the outcome of the Rumble match and he wants a match against Rock, the winner of that match goes onto WrestleMania 2000, though Show has to give his proof to Triple H and Stephanie. On Nitro, the company crowns a new Heavyweight Champion (after Benoit forfeited the title). Either Kevin Nash or Sid Vicious will leave L.A as the new champ.
Cactus Jack is back, and he's ready to face Triple H at the Royal Rumble. WCW Nitro is completely free of Vince Russo but that doesn't mean it's good; Kevin Nash is the new on-screen president and he books a DDP vs Buff Bagwell rematch for the main event.

This week's Reliving The War features the beginning of a new Lethal Lottery tag tournament on Nitro while the McMahon Helmsley Era continues on Raw. Triple H gives himself a WWF Championship match against The Big Show.
Its the night after Starrcade 1999 and all questions will be answerd on this episode of Nitro. A famous faction returns at the end of the show though this reiteration will be short lived. On Raw Triple H and Stephanie make things difficult for a lot of WWF superstars by handing out unwanted Christmas presents.

Kevin Nash becomes The Grand Wizard of Wrestling when managing Scott Hall, and the Nitro main event features a 4-way ladder match for the US belt. On Raw Triple H faces Test in the main event, the company poke fun at Al Snow's action figure getting removed from Walmart store shelves, and Davey Boy Smith teams up with the Mean Street Posse.

Mr. McMahon makes a decision regarding the WWF Championship; Triple H and Steve Austin want put in the 6-Pack Challenge at Unforgiven, so Vince gets both men included in the big Pay Per View main event. Vince & Shane are scheduled to team up in the Raw main event. On Nitro Chris Benoit finally gets his world title shot against Sting. The main event features Ric Flair competing in his first televised WCW show in 2 months.

Triple H opens up Raw this week and Jim Ross finds himself in a lot of trouble. Mick Foley is forced to give Helmsley a WWF title shot, and that Championship match is our Raw main event. On Nitro Hulk Hogan takes on Sting once again, only this time Sting has to deal with the "Red and Yellow" Hogan. Kiss perform at the very end of the broadcast, making a lot of viewers switch the channel.
On Raw this week The Undertaker goes on (and on, and on) about taking The Big Show to Death Valley on a motorbike trip, Chyna's spot as the number 1 contender gets put in jeapordy, and The Rock adds a stipulation to his match against Billy Gunn at Summerslam. Sid Vicious dominates the first hour of Nitro on his quest to get a shot at Hulk Hogan's World Title. The nWo lose another member before facing Harlem Heat, and Kidman tells DDP he has a seriously hot wife.
The millenium clock reaches zero on WWF Raw is War and a new superstar makes his debut. Over on Nitro Hulk Hogan shocks the world by turning back the clock during a 6 man tag main event.
The Unholy Union beat down Stone Cold Steve Austin this week on Raw, resulting in Austin granting The Undertaker a WWF title shot. On Nitro Sting looks for a tag team partner for the show's main event.
