Welcome into the Ravens Press Pass Podcast. It is Friday, December fifteenth, and the Ravens are getting ready to head on the road for a primetime matchup on Sunday in Jacksonville. The Ravens will take on the Jaguars on Sunday Night Football. That's going to be on NBC at eight twenty pm. Now, this is a big game for the Ravens. They're currently leading the way in the AFC standing sitting at first place,

but the Jaguars are far behind. Now. The Jags have lost two straight games and they're looking to get back on track this week. So it is going to be a tightly contested primetime matchup. As Ravens prepared to head down South, head coach Sean Harball met with the media today.

Speaker 2

Okay, good seeing everybody, appreciate everybody being here. Good day, good work day. All eyes pointed towards Sunday night, Sunday Night Football against the Jaguars. Big game for us. We're looking forward to it. What question do you have? You know, good, be good. You know, we'll just see how he does next a couple of days. But he's he's in a good place right now. Jacksonville is such a tough place to play. Well, you know, for me, just the games

we played there of late that I remember. You know, they've played better than us. We have not played our best games down there the last couple of times.

Speaker 1

John we sail. Last week, you guys designated.

Speaker 2

Malik cam to return the practice.

Speaker 1

It's been such a long way off. How's he looking and what are you looking to see as far as potentially being an option?

Speaker 2

Yeah, I think he definitely is potentially an option. I mean we just kind of kind of you know, it's it's his health and how he's, how ready he is, and he's I think he'll be ready. You know, he moves well and could help us both on defense and special teams if I got a chance. Then with a roster where's the roster at? You know, that's kind of get away those two things. Coach, What can he tell us about the commitment this group has a chief game

after game look on borns. You know the group between growing in the right direction, right, Well, that's exactly right they are are, And uh that's really what we're trying to do, is just we talk about things like you know, one percent better every day. Uh, you know better today than yesterday, better tomorrow than today. I mean those simple things, one day at a time, one practice, one meeting, one play.

Those things are taking to heart here and I think they understand the value of that process and hopefully that's that's uh in the end, that that leads to success. You know, that looks like the weather for you know, rainy but also pretty windy. I don't know if that's a thing you can second, I don't know if you can practice be raining much. So what do you guys doing You're going to prepare for that something? We have

had some win, believe it or not. We had We had quite a bit of wind on Wednesday, and it was a little bit of wind out here today. So yeah, we got the rain forecast, the wind forecast last week and it was it was. It was misty, rainy. It wasn't too bad. In this last game, it wasn't too windy. Uh. This is supposed to be more windy from what I understand. The rain's supposed to roll out before the game starts, but you never know. So we'll just have to play withever the whatever the conditions are.

Speaker 1

Okay, you know he didn't play far Nber a little bit.

Speaker 2

I think it does when you get into the game. You just got to kind of take it for what it is in the game. Other than that, it's really hard to plan for.

Speaker 1

Certainly, the good news and hearing from head coach Sean Harball is that safety Kyle Hamilton looks like he's going to be able to play this week. Hamilton went down with the knee injury in last week's game. He briefly left the game, then came back before ultimately going to the sidelines. We did talk with Kyle Hamilton earlier in the week and he indicated that the knee was okay,

that it wasn't anything that was a major issue. That the trainers kind of pulled him back in that game on Sunday just to play it safe to make sure that the knee was healthy. But he was able to practice throughout the week, so it's certainly a good sign. It looks like he'll be able to play this week. Now, the game kicks off at eight twenty pm. Make sure that you're ready for all that. Make sure that you
