Hey ya hey, Sellen Wilson, Rap right Off and me and my partner beat Our Miller. And you know we got the premiere website out there, rap right dot com. And now I'm about to take over the podcast game. We want to sit down with the coaches most important voices. Give you that news and information at opinion, the only opinion that matters. Man here, rap right off, Listen up, yeah, rap rate our podcast. Elliot Wilson, be dot Brian Miller, what's up, sir? That's me? Are you doing with back at?

I feel like I see you in a minute, Man, You don't if you see each other man, you changed. Man, I'm traveling with future everywhere. Man. That guy this stury is over? Man? Did he hire you? I saw you with a microphone. There was a walkie tokyo on Instagram. What's going on? Ye, I'm trying to make some things happen. Man. You never know if this journalism thing is gonna work out of that, this whole podcasting thing might not work. One thing I saw a lot man when I was

on the road. Man, these damn tour buses, man busses everywhere. You were on a tour bus to a little a bill that wasn't on the buck man. But busses is cool. Man, we actually got some support for busses. Man. Do you know about bus mental dot com? And what is that? Bus mental dot com? It's part of the part of the family. Baby, you know about that? Put me down? What's going on? It's the only way to travel, man. If you want to go somewhere, Man, you just select

your starting address and your destination. They give you an instant quote. You ever been with your homies been like, yo, we just take a bus cod like on the weekend trips to like six Flags anything after the prom. Yo. It's so easy. It's like, let's go to bus mental dot com. Like I said, just put your destination where you want to go to give you a rate. That's a good way to go. Then you could have a good time. You know, our our guests today talks a

lot about consumption of certain things. You don't have to worry about that, right right. The driver is a bus driver. The bus driver will take care. You can party as hard as you want, not to worry about anything. So it's like you can make your own party bus, make your own party bus man. It's that simple, man to make sure you go check them out of bus mental dot com. And you know we got him with a little promo code, just little something. Okay, the paper CBS,

the paper fipper set hit that CBS bus. It'll get you five percent off your next trip on that bus mental dot com. Like I said, man, it's a good way to travel with the home. We ain't gotta worry about nothing. Have a good time out there. Springs coming up summertime. Go to bus mental dot com. Well, one thing people are going to man is to wrap in our podcast. Man, it's Angie Martinez. Man, that's whenever. It's

always a new chap Man. The people are saying it though, but it's like it really feels like it's butting the most feedback we've gotten in a wild because Courstion wasn't here is that's why it was no shout to seth Step came in because anti Martinez, he's both guard it not because we had to do a real late no video for Angie. That was the unfortunate part. But everything else was on point. So what do you think it was? I think people just love hearing her curse and all

that fun stuff. Just still personality. People love legends, man, Andree has been in the game for years, so she has a lot to talk about and thinks she hasn't talked about too, So it's also a different perspective. Man. People love the behind the scene things and even one insight. I feel like a lot of our listeners looking for inspiration and we could draw it out of a legend like her. Definitely, And you gotta shout Angie out man,

because she gave us a real exclusive look. She only did People dot Com and then when she did a brief lowent interview and then she did a sit down with us, and that was why she announced the book, like she announced it with us before she even announced it on her show. So I gotta show a lot of love to her. Man. We really appreciate that. Man. What's the feedback saying no news all right? Tune comments

when you have to subscribe, Man, that raperate our podcast. Man, inscribe saying something when we move up on the I tunes charts there trying to hate on listen these I tune charts now that the chance is all screwy, man, screw me out here. It's funny, man, it's funny, Man. It doesn't add up man. But so the only way to really change that it makes you subscribe, rate and review the podcast. The great thing about doing that, as soon as the podcast episode goes live, you get access

to it. You don't have to wait. You know, we're on the play dot it player. There's no SoundCloud links. We don't get down with none of that. It's all about either going to play dot at, slash rap or iTunes. I subscribed to us, man, we live that iTunes lifestyle. Man. We want to be big on them charts. Man, we need your supports. So makes you subscribe and also leave a comment, because if you leave a comment, we may read it on the air, which is what I'm about

to do right now. We got I'm scared coursing. You know, these guys talk crazy to me. Let me see what's going on. Plug up five stars, says Angie Martinez, Elliot Wilson and beat dot equal jay Z fan club. A lot of homes talking the last episode. How could you not fan we're also the president. How could it not be a lot of jay Z jay Z talking to Angie Martina's podcast. Man, those guys didn't, let you know, nevery interviews together. What do you want from us. We

used to give us five stars. I appreciate that. Another five star givers my man beat on p He says, you're Elliott. Stop cutting people off, bro, it's annoying. You need to cut it. I need to cut it. I thought I get but I got better with that. I mean they're working on it's a working progress. A lot of short comments is to time. Although it's calling up. People have a lot to say. They want to get real direct. It was a dope whack hot someone's calling

themselves Ben Simmons, Lakers. Okay, five stars, great apps this week, you'all might be number one wine apps. Really copy you guys all wind up is copying? We see one. I did have that, jo Alrenymore don't that's copying. But you know I'm glad we did them first. Let's all I say about that. Yes, all right, So just like the a lot, Sebastian is a Sebastian. Sebastian Prudence says, I want to work for you. Okay, there you go, five stars. Yeah, what budget you got for that? I gotta touch somebody

up here? Was by rewards negotiated some I'm constantly looking on the CBS Local website. There you go for employment opportunities because I want to be behind the camera. They trying to take the video person out of course, what's going on for these rap rightoff videos? The young lady was just in here setting up the camera. Get everything right. Just you try to take her job, You try to take food out of her family of mouth. The comsson turned into monster dot com Man, what the fuck? Miss?

Here's it go? Mr Wilson, Mr Miller, please give this video guy job seriously at my resume rady to send all right? Man, Hey man, you can't you can't take people's positions out here. Man, you got jobs here at TPS. Man a little out of line there, but we appreciate the support. Man four stars is Drew Daddy two and five says could be better in the headline, this podcast could be better if beat I didn't deride the guests so much. Damn and Ellie needs to do his homework

on an artist more. You let podcasters down. I don't believe that person really believes anything they just said. I think that's all just trying to be controversial. Somebody said support Detroit artists please. I love the podcasting blob, but you're on't support up and coming artists were now here the support up and coming artists had. Up and coming arts. We have post Malone. We had a little break it down. Man. They tought out south By, saw a losey verd everywhere.

South By We're equal opportunity podcast. Alright. So the next one is John. John is important for the culture. Five stars, best hip hop podcasts in the world, Beat On, Ellie bring great interviews with most support figure before I think I did, probably read it again. It's new to me. It's all right. Everybody loves us, man, that's the common theme. Man, everybody loves us. We're gonna keep going. We have a podcast we're proud of. We're gonna record right now. We've

got another guests lined up. I love this guy, this guest, this guy, he calls himself the best interview in hip hopin He might be right. He's putting the pressure on. He's following up some really legendary interviews. And this guy already thinks that. And he's and he's got a podcast. He's our label mate, and he's got a podcast on CBS. This fucking guy cut to the back door. Is he

competition now? And he's from Queen's It's a trifect that the fightest fixed talking about Noriega Man, Noria, No, Ris here Man, finally Man, he got the he got the album Drunk Uncle dropping on Friday's got the podcast called Drink Champs. I'm sending a theme right there. Drink Champs is the podcast, Drunk Uncle is the album, Triple A is the sponsor. I'm going down on Friday Man. So we excited. He's hearing bad way chopped chopped up with Dorian a bit. He's a fool. This cannot be a

three hour episode. That's what I say before I have to go. I have to go. I gave you all night because nor can easily do three hours like nothing. That's what he does, all right? Does he have any alcoholic beverages for he just might might have some Tiger Bone? Oh, I hate that kid that. I'm excited and you like the we're buying over what our favorite cutters before he

comes in. I like the Moment's record, moments record, or you have a big scoop on something he addressed in there, which we'll say, which involves jay Z again, which you can't escape. So I like the Moment's Record and then your favorite is thinking the one with Sleepy Brown kill Mike, that his first collaboration will kill the Mike. It might be nas called us. We'll spend it, we spend make him pay that ship pick d kill him, Mike killing mikey nor Who would have thought man and Sleepy brand?

Will you find Sleepy Brown? That man? And I think it's the West Coast producer or something because he said he said west Southeast, Okay, So to bring it together, let's talk about it. Amber rolls on the project. You got a girly track with Amber Rose doing a skit on top of that, so you don't NOI man, he don't stop. Man. I got determined. Like I said, he got a new album, you got a new podcast, So it's time to chop it up. Man. He's always a good fun to talk to this guy. We're right back

with Noria hang wrap rate our podcast. Welcome to Play a new podcast network featuring radio and TV personalities, talking business, sports, tech, entertainment, and more. Play it at play dot in Hey Yesterday and Sullen Wilson rap right off and me and my partner beat our Miller Man with the only opinion that matters man here rap right off? Yeah, beats walking him in so queens right now, a lot of people. It's crazy, Queens. There's too many people. Man Nori plus seven team man

NOI plus seventh. You know he's got his fellow podcasting too much. Oh my god, too much. We live what I'm talking about that I need don't preparation. What's you for this guy? Yeah? You gotta we gotta get the best interview in the game. We gotta get Beats headphones to supply. I think that's a budget. It's not in the budget they charged for that. We worked on it. Oh yeah, okay, Well, I just want to tell everybody

I wanted to be clear. Um, any journalists, real journalists have no nothing to worry about because we're not fact checking. That's a shortlist, you said to a real journalist. No, no, no, you guys, you guys, you guys know you're a journalist, but um, you know we're not. We're not fact checking in our podcasts and we're not. In fact, if you learned something from our podcast, we might be offended. We don't want you to learn ship why not, because we haven't.

He likes to call it barbershop talk. I like to call it barbershop talk. After the barber is closed the thing and then they sit down, they smoke a blunt. That's what it is to me. Off the record, maniac mania. I can't believes gave us some love. God damn it. Maybe a labelmates crazy. Two of my brothers from Queens you know, um right, y'are part of the drink Champs. You're part of the reason. Um while I came here because um, we had a great opportunity. What's the name

of him? Come come over here, dj F He's your partner in this crazy podcast. The original cast, the original podcast that loud Speakers they wanted and you know the man everybody. Um, but I felt like it was crowded, like you know what I'm saying, Like I've I've done a situation where I've been in death jam and um that so many like, you know, I gotta wait for method man to drop. I gotta wait from fucking Frederick Star to drop his candy. You know what I'm saying, Like,

I gotta I gotta wait for drop that candy. Yeah, I'm sorry, feder I don't know why I just said that, but you know, I've been in a clustered situation. And I've also been a man at penalty where's twelve workers? And I actually my only platinum Alblin was on penalty with twelve workers, which Elliott Wilson gave before Mike's fall. God damn it, we're talking about that later. Make they wanted, they wanted half, we wouldn't have been here right now. Bec it's crazy. Let that's my man, that's my man.

But um yeah, so um with the podcast thing, you know, um, and the crazy thing is the podcast and my drunk uncle project. Um, it's me listening to the internet. I could have been an o g quote unquote and just do what the funk I think it's dope, or I could listen to my fans. Now, I don't read comments like, uh, let me big up Rap Radar, let me big up

Black TV and World Star. But I don't read comments on there because that's your fans, that's rat Radar fans, and that's a Black TV fans and this World Star fans. But I read my own comments like if if I do something with you and I posted or do something with whoever whever I posted, and everybody kept saying to me, yo, you're my favorite drunk uncle. And I was like, damn, you know, I know. I'm thirty eight years old. So even though Kanye is older than me, let me throw

that out there. Even though to changes didn't mean let me throw that out there. Rick Ross is older than me, let me go. You know what I mean, But they call me their drunk uncle. So this is the first time I actually listened to my fans. And then with the Drink Chats podcast is like, you know, you guys are journalist. I could never take your space. I could never take your space like be dot look at his notes. Look at them. Come on, he's never had the physical notes,

you know. Let me tell you on the phone story. No, I watch you out very much, and I watched b Dot and I see how he does his like he's very informative. He said he's better than me. No, I just say, I don't don't see you. I don't see you blast out your notes. I see be Dit doing his thing. Oh No, you're technical, You're technically you're you're technically dope. You're technically up there. But so you know we're not gonna we're not doing that with our podcast.

He did funk us up because you got fat your first thing. Goddamnit even had an let me tell you how much of my creek guy? Let me tell you how much of a creed. I'll go to Fat Joe's studio. Random that Fat Joe's my friend, right, I love Fat Joe. Right. Fat Joe actually came to my crib one time and took my kids. I was flipped on my caregiver. I was like, what the fun did you just see a fat Puerto Rican and you just think he's he didn't take him nowhere. But I'm like, yo, but this is

how close we are. So I went to the studio. I had heard him and remy was working on something. I didn't hear they was doing the album, so I went to the studio. I was actually getting going to the studio to get my verse from Fat Joe. Fat Joe was my brother. I tell you how hard it is to ever get a verse from Fat Joe. Remind me to bring that up. But so I'm sitting there and I'm like, um, all right, He's like, nor did you hear my ship? And I'm like, you know, you know,

Fat Joe runs his crew like his cruise. He got a bunch of Puerto Ricans. I'm so lucky. I'm Puerto Rican and so I can relate to the situation. But they played this all the way up and I'm like, he's dropping this next week. I'm like, I know him, so I don't play my record yet. Then he plays like I listened to the whole album. He has a whole album full of lean backs, like I mean lean back babies. So I sat there back and I said, I need you on my podcast, and don't I'm not

sure if Fat you'll know what the podcast is. He didn't until you did it. And I said, just coming over here and we're gonna bullshit. So we got to the real nitty gritty. You know, I spoke about the Rimy album. I couldn't believe he gave me the actual album title. I was the right way, though, Nora. I couldn't believe it. Though I'm being honest, I couldn't believe it. Like I thought, I would have held it for rap Radar. I'm gonna be honest, like if I was him, I

would have held it for Rap. I have held it for the breakfast. But he was having me. I wanted to talk about other things besides who you guys used to slap and ship? He said. I went a little left, like he's like, I love North, I'm never doing that. I don't think he's coming back. I don't be honest what I'm done. I was like, wait a minute, remember when you slapped so and so. When I stopped so

and so, it just like yo, yeah yeah. But I was mad at him because he kept asking CBS like when he was doing the deal, he was like, you should we break it up in two pieces? And I was like, being a company guy, I'm sorry I didn't tell you that in person, but I was like me in a company guy, let's just give them what they get. You know what I mean, and so so again, no journalist should be Um, it's like the way you and Joe would talk behind the scene. Behind were being blessed

to hear that conversation. I was blessed to do something called the what What document should be back in the days. I never actually finished it, but I had Puff Daddy the day that Shine No excuse me, like three days before Shine did the case. I had him and Puff Daddy together and Puff really didn't um look at the red you know, because back in the days you had the little red camera. Um with the little red and Puff was the way Puff was talking. I had Nas

talking about backpack hip hop back in the days. He hated backpack hip hop then, and and so I knew I had the ability to get something pause, to get something out of people where they actually think they're just talking to me. So Um, when people saw approaching me with this podcast thing, I'm gonna be honest, and I know it's gonna sound harsh. The first people I've ever seen do a podcast was Juan Epstein, and I love both.

I love both Cipher and I love both Rosenberg. But I was bored when I did their podcast, meaning it was the same exact thing that Hot ninety seven. Like I was um watching my words, like when I say yo, my nigga, I would say yo yo yoyo. You know what I mean, Like I would edit myself. And it's because it was done in Hot ninety seven. I didn't feel I didn't feel the separation. So um and and again I love them brothers because I don't want the headline.

You know, somebody gonna rip his headline and say no research they were boring. No, I didn't mean it like that. So what I mean is I felt like it should have been something different from what they did at Hot. They would have got more at you out of you. They would have got more I not are doing that Steale a different location of time, so you didn't there. You would have got to run. And even like what the noisemaker is like, um, I appreciate what they did,

but I'm gonna be honest, not because you're here. I liked it yours better. Like it's like you looked at this and was like, Okay, I see where they messed up, and I'm gonna do it this way. Why do you

think you got so involved? Like like you said, you study, you watch other people's interviews, Like why do you think you got so consumed that you like, not for lack of a better term, but got it fascinated with media and wanting to find a way to like tell tell stories and tell your story Like I didn't have a hundred thousand dollars to pay for radio. You know what I'm saying, Like it's very simple, Like it's like, um, like if you look at you know, Fat Joe's rolling

out process. You know, Fat Joe spend that bread, Like you know what I'm saying, Like what I mean by that is not spending bread paying DJs when he paid somebody to to to to make sure his his rollout is dope. Um, I didn't have that. I don't have that. I don't have like just a hundred thousand dollars to just throw out there and just sit around and wait. So what I did was I realized that if I learned the game just like Little League, like I might not have been the best Little League player, but I

knew everything. I knew everything, So I got more trophies in little League than I have in basketball. Because I like to study things and I'm dyslexic. So when I'm saying I'm dyslexic because everybody could. You can, like, if you look at the murder rap You've seen that documentary about Biggie Smalls in Tupac Murder Rat, right, and if you look at it, it's a big conspiracy. And then this this guy, he comes down and he goes, well,

that's not what happened. This is what happened. The reason why I don't believe his story or it's because he broke it down like how I would like, how how can a cop and me have the same type of relationship. What I mean by that is he broke it down in a simplistic form. And that's what I do with life. Like if you tell me, you know you're gonna have a deal with def Jam and you're gonna have a deal with le All and then you gotta go to this, I just look at it in the most simplex, simplistic form.

I just say, all right, cool, I'm gonna go charm Leard and I'm gonna go hang out with Kevins. Like I don't break it down, like how how the average person break it down? So when I did my studies, I was just like, yo, the internet is free, I can tweet. The thing about me is I'm not a ranterer. But you are up on the internet early, like I think back on the North talk about it. Come on, come on, keep going, keep going www. So that's how you know his notes is great? You know, I mean

you were talking about that. Yes, Um, I was fascinated by the internet early. Um, because I realized that again I was on penalty records A twelve Uh steil Levin still doing it, still cheat but he's still still doing it, still doing that's my brother. Um. But I started to realize that when I was on Trinality was only twelve workers and I went platinum. But when I went to death Jab, there was three hundred, what three thousand workers?

And I would remember Shanta Bacon would book me and then Mike Kaiser will book me for the same exact um a day, but in separate states, and I would realize I would be like, you know what, that's what's the problem with the majors is everybody thinks they're they are major. Everybody thinks that they're the big guy on campus, and they don't communicate, like the marketing department wouldn't communicate with the retail department, the retail department. And and the

thing is I wound up. It wound up hurting me more than it actually gave to me. So I sat back and I said, you know what, I don't need a staff of three hundred. I might need a staff of three or four or five. But if they love, if they love, what's going on? Because if you lose the love for this game, it's over. Like the money, the money is not enough. I'm just telling you, like, why do you think your built for that? You love

this game? You in it for so long, like when you first think NOI coming to the game, you was wild, like like it's funny to while this dudes are the dudes of lunge. All you guys were terrorists like and now you guys are like career artists, like twenty years and you've made all these lifestyle changes, Like what do you think it is to make certain artists like not be not built for it, and some are in it

for the long haul. I think it's just growth. I think, um, you grow, Like at the end of the day, if you don't grow, you die. And that's for any any species in life, you know what I mean? And like styles, styles, Styles. Uh he he shocked the ship out of me because I was I won't give this story. Um. The other day, you know, um, Troy IV had you know what he said he said about and what happened was, I don't know if you guys know, but what happened was he

had said something Capital Steves right. I had never met Capital Steves in my life, but when I seen it, I didn't take offense to it, but I just wasn't good with it. And so what it was was when I seen Styles jump out the roof, because Styles is not that type of guy like, so when he jumped out the roof, I had called Troy AB and I said, Troy ab, Um, you know, as a friend, give Styles pe that past. You know what I'm saying, because I

don't think Trey av knew that's um um okay. I like to be the photographer, but so I don't think that. Uh So when Styles start going in, you wanted him to know where that's coming. I called Troy and I said, you know, i'd respect just give Styles the past. And he said to me like like like a younger person would. He said, well did you call him? So I said, you know what you got a point and I hung up and I got them both on the phone, And for me, that's my position now, like this is what

this mediating instead of I'm Slimmacon, I'm not Farcon, I'm slim. Yeah, listen, listen. So and and you know what, they had a wonderful conversation. But my point of bringing this up is Style says sorry first, like Styles initiated the apology. Styles was like, yo, you know, Um, I didn't appreciate what you said. And then you know, Troy says something. Style said I'm sorry immediately, and that to me was like because he did it publicly too, that's he did it and that's o G.

That's like Vin Staples. That's why I was sorry VN Stables because as a o G, I shouldn't. You know, UM went to the internet. You know what I mean. But when you grow, it's it's just like, I'm gonna give you another story. I got it on the moment's video. But the day after Thanksgiving, we're gonna talk about that. You want me alright, alright, cool, we're waiting. We're waiting. Well, the day after Thanksgiving, I knew about it because be

Dot knew the phone call was gonna happen. Everything about it, everything is off the listen Bleak Bleak. That's how you know it's fucked up when when I get off the phone call with Hove, I called Bleak. Yeah, And this is how you know. That's how you know you're going somewhere wrong when you say to a nigger, yo, who was on your first album? Like that's like saying like who gave you? Then lets in third grade? So I told Bleak, I said, Yo, who was on your first album?

Bleak started dying because you know where I'm going. I'm like, don't ever have Hove called me the wreck? Like, have Carleen call out there? No more? Oh God, school school back everything in the context the moment's video that's on the Drunk Uncle Yes mix tape. It drops Friday. So does the podcast Drink Chaps in conjunction with CBS. It's all drunk Us Yeah. Yeah, yeah. So you want a tax Stones podcast? Yes, And there was talked about an incident allegedly happened me between him and jay Z and

a bottle. And you said that that happened. I said, that's what I heard, That's what I said. Yeah, And that's how I knew you hove ain't hear it because I said, because all right, this is the funny shaw. Let me just let me just break it all down, all right. They have to Thanksgiving, right, I'm doing my food show. So I'm eating a lot. Right, my kids go outside. I'll give my kids the hoverboards. So my kids ain't matting with me. Right. My kids is like,

fuck you Dad. I'm outside and the hover boys. So I'm home alone. I pick up a whole sweet potato pie. My intentions was to eat two pieces. I ate the whole fucking pot right. So I'm in my room feeling guilty as hell. Right, But mind you, I see calls coming in. They are known. So when they say unknown, I'm thinking it's somebody from the jail, because you know that's when people in jail calls doing the holidays. So I pick up and the guy goes yo, So I go yo. He go this Jay. So I just start laughing.

I'm like, all right for arguments, say Jay who he didn't even say home. He said how many days was after the interview of text, This is about a week. I would say like a week, maybe two, And so he goes, you know, this is ja so I say, for arguments, say j who So he said jay Z. So this is funked up, But I said it. I said, whoever this is, you need to work on your jay z accent. I'm like this, that's what I expected. I

expected airy spirits. So I'm like, yo, He's like, Yo, look I get it, he said, So listen, I'm gonna do. I'm gonna hang up the phone and I'm gonna text you for my number and you call back that number. So I hung up. I wrote the blunt. Now I'm up. Now I'm up. I'm like because I'm like, it didn't sound like Jay to me, though, you know what I mean. So I'm up. I roll a blunt and he texts me. So he said, I just wanted you to say, um uh, the word that you're writing, it's a false story. So

I knew. I knew he didn't hear it from there because I didn't spread it. I was asked this question and I answered it. So I called back. I said yo, and I said something and and then he said, if you would have said, y'all got your number from Ta Ta, or I got your number from Linnies, or I got your number from Jay Brown. I would have knew this wasn't whole because I'll speak to all them brothers, but

we don't have each other's numbers. He said bleak. So I sweat start coming down my face immediately because I'm like, bleak got my number? Like this is it? So? Like? You know that one little stick of the order. Man, it just gives out. Like as soon as he said bleak, I was like, yo, whole. I said, you can't if this is really you, you can't care about this. This is how you know he's the smoothest thing in the world. He said, I don't care about it. I care about

you know. When the truth he got me, And that's how I know I was the older person. This is how I know I was an older person. Immediately when I realized it was him, I said, how can I fix it? Immediately? I have no quarrels. I don't have I don't get nothing else, saying your hold, I'm a street dude, Like what the funk? Hope, I do not want to make you angry, that's a fact. How long the conversation last. It lasted about seven a half minutes.

Seven And he's smooth, He's really like the thing about it is his nephews keep him abreast to everything that's going on. And when we start talking, you know, I immediately um, I said, I told him I heard it. I told him where I heard it from. He got it, he understood, and we moved on and we just we talked. So he's so, I said, your hoop, I'm gonna go do some someplace and corrected and he said, no, no, no, no, because it's gonna look like I put the pressure on you.

If you be asked, then you handle that. And I said, being asked putting it in the record. Decided to put it in the record because it was a moment for me. It really was it really your career, I mean not in my career, because you know, l A l Ain't no Nigger came out at the same time. So I did me me holding a Canelli did a tremendous amount of on the road together, you know what I mean. Should I almost hold up with a couple of chicks

from the hood back in the day, I was. I was kind of mad from him, like they went over there. I was like, what he is doing him back today? Was like no, no, no, he was hot, ain't gonna lie I ain't gonna lie. He's always been. He's always been my big homie. I can't lie to you like it's you know, even during the Queen's Beef, if you look at it and you actually look at the Queen's Drama, I was in h Street is watching, I was on all the Clue albums. Blueprints. He shot at me on

I'm blueprint too. So this is a person I definitely didn't want to distance and then say he gave you what the last one they told us that that's not even that. You don't even clap for me, southing like Rocket Feller for like a week a week And definitely definitely you know, um, but you love to get. You

love the game obviously in the culture. So if you have a difference with something, the fact that he took the time to call you, that's what you appreciate, you know, you know, you know now I've really appreciated it because and and it's what he said, even though if he could have been gassing me, but I'm gonna take it. He was like, I just want you to know the truth because you're a real nigger to me, and to me, he sold me right from that moment, I had to

correct that. I have to go and say, you know what he told me? He told him and fact Joe has Oh damn, I did I say? Now, they said, exact story of what happened. Now, mind you, I was on this tour with them, So what's the story. I don't know that I don't know, but from listen, Hope said it didn't happen. I'm entired to believe that it didn't even happen. Fat Joe was in the most positive place I ever seen him in life. He brings his daughter to a wonderful thing. And all I wanna do

is continue. I have a responsibility in hip hop to to uphold too. If you want to call me a legend of O G and I don't tell, you know if I say, if you say to me, yo, what's up? O G? What's up? Legend, and I don't say no, I'm not immediately if I if I take it, then I have a responsibility from there on out. So this is where we're stuck at. Like I have a responsibility. That's why I said, I correct because I want to be truthful. And I corrected because I want to be useful.

And then you know, Hope he knew a couple of more things about my life, and it was just like the brother pays attention to everything. I can't say tell you he pays attention to me, but to tell you that he pays attention to everything, because like he knew too much about me and what I was doing, which let me know that his and he said it was my nephews. So we gotta, I gotta, I gotta give

his nephews a bottle or something. On the moment's record too, you also talked about being a studio with forty Why was that important? That was actually because Um, I had the line was smoking blunts with Biggie Smalls was the moment my g and I couldn't find no pictures of me and Biggie Smalls, and I just just I just I know the internet, the Internet would have tore me apart. This Nike talking about he smoked blunts with big where's

the fucking picture? So I said, you know what I'll say now, Little Season knows that, Little Kim knows that Red Man knows that. But it's red Man. Little C's gonna be in my comments? When when when it? When I dropped, so um, I went back I took that out. I also took because I said, um, when I had

my first kid, that was a moment for me. And the director was like, you got six kids, are telling me your one kid was the only So I changed it to all my kids and um, but you know why was over forty a moment for me because like he actually just opened his doors to me, and like, um, when we was an All Star weekend, like I could have recorded fifteen records if I wanted to, but I had two people who had just paid me for a video. But I was in there, you know it was it

was laid out like I could have. I could have had a left up with Drake Hook if I wanted right then and there, like I could have just took it because forty it was one of those people that said I'm a fan of Nori and then showed he was a fan of North other people. And I never

capitalized off of it, you know what I mean. A lot of people say they are a fan of Nor did you reach out to them, and it's like, uh, okay, Like look, dude, I don't need nothing from you, Like I'm good, Like he was giving you bet it was I heard I heard views from the six like I heard like like, just like I heard plot doesn't blow Moe, like I heard reviews from the six. I heard um he got to hear my stuff and he loved Bone Mix. See the thing was the video where I put him

and he loved it. He was like, Yo, this is that sometimes feeling. This is that such and such. And when he said that, I was just like, you know what, I'm not going to look at him as over your forty I'm gonna look at him like a fan because that's how we And if he says he loves that, and this is like a sometimes moment. Why am I keep chasing the homeboys that came to parties? And why am I keep chasing the super dogs when that was one part of my career. I had other parts. I

had to love my life. So I had the body and the trunks. I had the melodic records that was pumping, So why not reinvent that? So that's where moments it's funny. He said that I was gonna ask you like you especially also around this time Easter, you always have a project, You're always putting music out, like obviously you love the culture, but are you well you I was the one to know was you're chasing that magic moment, that feeling of having that big record, that big hit. You know, yeah,

I mean I always chased the big record. It's like a person who smokes crack right that they say, your first time you get high, it's your best time you get high. But every other time after you get high, you're just chasing that first moment. And it's hard for me not to want to hit record, Like it was hard for me to go to the studio and hear Fat Joe play all these records and like, damn, that's not what I wanted this time. I wanted to make a mixtape, Like I really, I didn't want to make

an album. I wanted to make a mixtape. And when I heard Fat Joe and I seen his ora, like he got a glow about him, like him and Remy they gotta glow right now, Like that's that's it's it's it's undeniable. And it was like, but that's not what I did for this project. What I did for this project was I wanted to do something that a record label would say no. And I'm my own record label now, I'm my own pimp. I'm my own hole. You know what I'm saying, So why not just live on the edge.

But you know, to answer your question, Elliott, you never stopped trying to check chase that, like you know, like I know, Buckets is a great record. I know my joint where pnb Rock is a great record. But it made me immediately like hearing Joe's stuff, and it made me immediately want to go back in and say, let me just do a full fledged album for summertime. But I won't do it this summer because I want to, I want to pay attention to it. And right now I got the podcast where you just closed, uh my

Food Show congratraduation rose that right a little bit? Not Charlotte Mayne, let me tell you something be I had a chance, let me say this carefully. I had a chance for Parf Daddy and for All to be my executive producer on the Food Show. It was it was ironic the way it happened because I had came into counter which Charlotte Mane Charlottagne brought me to these people at lions Gate. Lions Gate Google me, and there Google said, Nori put for all on right. I don't know, I'm

just I'm just I'm not I don't know. I don't know, but they because they came back to me and said, if Norri can give us a Farrell drop, will green light everything. Me. I'm from Queen's. I'm a hustler. If you ask for one, I'm gonna give five because I want you to come back. So I said, so I hate Pharrell, and I said, for I don't ask for nothing. I need a drop from you, Pharrell. It's Pharrell. NA said for what, well, what are you doing? What count

of reality show? And he the way he was scrutinizing me the way like at the very last, and I was like, man, funk, you're dropped, like what I'm saying. But by that time, in between that area, I had got Swiss Beats, I got Danny Garcia, I got two chains. I got everybody to say that there will be a part of this show. So when they seen it, they were blown away. They were like they expected one from Pharrell. So we was at Timberland's restaurant. What's it called, hunt

Fish Club? Hunt Fish Club. Yeah, I didn't know that I'm doing a food show, you know, so I know. So we had to meet in with them and they were. So I never told him I got the Farrell drop, but when I got it and I showed it to them, they obviously I put Farrell first. Then after that they've seen you know, Danny gotta see a Swiss beach to chains uh, Sonny Anderson. I got everybody, like everybody that I could call the next day. I didn't get a Fatjoe or bust the rhymes because I wanted to save

them for the show. But immediately they was like, boom, this is it so for RELM mind you. He questioned me so much that when I then he finally seen the drop, he said, you know why I questioned you, And I said why He said, because I'm your executive producer, which is dope. This is what I'm sorry. I know you're white. This is what the white people wanted. This is a fact. This is what the white people wanted.

They wanted him. So for him to say he's executive but do so, I was like, damn, this is this is an instant check. But then he said to me instant check. So he said to me, but we're doing on it will puff boom. So I said, damn, that's a that's a me and Puff is great, but he's a rapper. So we went to l A. We shot the deal. Puffed got the word like he's good, puffis puffis excellent. I was in San Francisco and how the fund did? He knows? In San Francisco. He called me

at three o'clock in the morning. There was nobody around. I knocked up my homeies doing like look at Buff. Look he wants me, look like y'all. He like, you can't do it with nobody else me and for a role, and I'm like great, and I'm like great. But then I said no, because if I need for a role on Monday, I'll get him on a Wednesday night. So you got if I need Puff on Monday, I might be able to get him Thursday morning. But Charlemagne was so accessible. He was he was when I was telling them,

giving them notes like look the halal spot. I want to do the I want to do this. I want to show people the real New York City. I want to do a left Frack barbecue. And I want to feed all my children. I mean not my children, but my children from Left Frack City. He got it, he got it, and I meet it. So now we're in we're in gold Molde. What network is it with? I

don't know what's what's the actual premise youre going to eat? Well, if you ever watched Anthony Bordine on Man Versus Food or whatever, um uh, even even Ashton Bronson's I seen Ashon Bronson's Listen, let me just tell you this show is fucking dope. The fact that he's on Viceland. He could smoke weed, but you know, I think that's dope. But at the end of the day, all my fans, who hardcore fans, they know I smoke weed. I don't have to be on camera smoking weed. All my fans

is hardcore fans. They know I'm a drunk uncle. I don't have to be drunk on the show. They know I'm I smoked the rest. They know I'm a terrible guy. You hate. I hate that I still smoke. But so I don't have to necessarily do what he's doing. But I love what he's doing, Like I've seen it the other day and he actually went to Queens and he went to Atlanta. He's doing things a little different and the action is also a chef. I ain't cooking ship on my show. I'm the eater whichever way, I'm a

super eater. So um so that's that's that's My show is just like the black version of Anthony Bordin. Like you know, my my my idols used to be like you know, run DMC, which they still are, l L which he still is, um even NAS which he still is. Um. But now my idols is Bill Moore. Like I fucking love Bill Moore. He's a white guy. I love him. Um, Anthony Borden, he gets paid to fly, eat and drink.

What better job can you actually have the world. I'm already, man, and I'm tired of bit Like I'm tired of it. I can't. You're not tired of it yet? No, No, I'm not. You're You're right, You're right, I'm lying. I am. I'm tired of it to a certain extent. I'm tired of it when I go walk in Costcos and you know, people just just selfie me out. You know, I'm tired of that part, you know Snapchat, they don't even ask. I am tired of that part because, um, you know,

arguably will make officially twenty years. Seven will make twenty years. And I can't. I can't continue to do this like, I mean retired already. I've been retired. I'm tired. I'm tired. Listen, I've tired. Listen, I retired. I wish you could see my schedule, my artinerary where first off, First off, I was supposed to come here tomorrow, but Elliott said, demand you do ours first. Listen, like in the nicest way you're doing us first. I said, no problem, I'm flying

in a day early. Appreciate no no, as we also appreciate you shouting us out when Jesus take the will remember course, man, Listen, man, I'm a I'm a big fan of y'all. You know what I'm saying, what you guys are doing, and you know what it's. It's it's about how y'all sustained, how y'all maintain, and how you elevate. Because if you're maintain and you just keep going, you're just gonna run into a toll, you know what I'm saying. But if you keep going, and I'm just a fan

of that. The way you approach making is now, is it different from when you used to do? It was before this natural ability and just whatever, like well, um, I always have somebody to to answer to UH from the Melvin Flinn album to UH An r e album War Report. We have to answer the trash the Reunion album. And now I don't make as much money. You know, I have million dollar contracts back then, but I have a lot of more freedom. I don't know if I want it, Like I would love to go back to

a major. I'm keeping it real. All these motherfucker's that sitting around and say independent is the ship, they're lying to you. Really it's horrible out there because you're doing it yourself for Yeah, I gotta pay for everything, Like I like flying first class. I'm not gonna stop. You know what I'm saying, Like I just flew out here three e you know what I mean? United of course, goddamnit sponsored me or something. I'm at the w hotel. Um, my ship is nineteen hunted. My wife hit me. It's like,

God damn it. What the type of room you got? Like it? It's real ship. It's like because I'm so used to it, like I've been spoiling by Leo cons I've been spoiled by Kevin Lows and uh Neil Levine and Tom Silverman, and now that I'm Leo Cones and I'm Kevin Lows. It's fucking It takes a toll on you. Like it's like I can't. I can't be everywhere like how I was when it was with a major like Mike Kaiser is one of the most phenomenal radio people

in the world. I remember Mike kiss to say to me, we're gonna be here, We're gonna be here, We're gonna be here. Now, if I ever took control, I would never be there. But when he was in control, it was like I made it to all the spots. I was there on time. I was the PDS loved me. But then once I lost that source for me to do that same thing and to have the impact that he had, it's a lot of money that has to be it's a lot of work. It's a lot of money, it's a lot of it's a it's a lot of

uh missed opportunities. So um, I can't stand independent like I do it because like every third of the month, I just you know, I get a nice it's a nice thing that's there. But check Spotify. Spot let's big them up. That's big titles. A lot of people don't know Title is paying the best. It's just that they don't have that many subscribers. But them title checks looking nice talking about money. Because on the Drunk Uncle mixtape,

to make what's the make Them Pay record? That's my standout one fight and I said this is my favorite. That joint sounds like it's something that now you're talking about, where'd you find sleeping You gotta Killer Mike on the record. I just hang out a laundry match and launch. I just gotta hang out the laundry matter. That's why I find nature at all the time. Like whenever I can't find nature, I just go like to the hall in Queen's Bridge and the laundry match is the laundy matter

on the hill. I just sounded outdating right, it's not a hell that's yeah. So um Sleepy Brown again, he's a person that does didn't work with people that's outside of outcast. I was in l a um uh smoking and he heard the record and then I put on killer Mike. Uh, Killer Mike. I'm so proud of this guy, Bernie Sanders. Let's elect him for everybody who don't know. Um, that's that should be hip hop's presidential uh campaign. That's that's that's that should be the guy that we elect.

We helped elect Obama. He's in Cuba right now, which is fucking awesome, the first president in ninety years. You cuman, you know what I mean? Yeah, I think we should elect Bernie says. I'm very happy with Killer Mike is me and him. He's his name is Santiago as well. And we've been connected and um was the first time you guys collabor Yeah, this is the first time we've been on record labels together. But I'm like he at first it looked like he was gonna disappear and then run.

The Jews just gave him. It's just like you have to find something else. It's just like you. It's just like you, guys. I'm not keep bigging you up because you're here, but I'm bigging you up because it's the truth. Like you know, just started from don Diva. Wow. You know I went there. I went there, and then and then and then you you first, and then all this. But the thing about it is you have to you

have to grow, you have to do something different. If you expect the same results, you're going to get the same fucking you know, you're gonna get the same ship. You know what I mean, I felt like George Bush right now Jay Cole's record. I'm sorry, but but you said something in the interview while back that you said you did everything in your career except make someone else to start. Is that still important to you? That's very important to me. That's that's a point. Um um yeah,

that's very important to me. Like right now, Component is my artist, like truthfully being sad, like if you ever see Components, because I'm out it's I'm not trying to flaws. But what I'm saying is, but I can't claim him. I can't say that I made this hype man. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we've seen him get this white man too much. Yeah. We all called thank you giving him a cup. This is Queens man. Did you give your book? I just want to give him, get up, Elliot Wilson. Yeah, yeah,

this is my man from from Raver's Wood, Queens. You know, I'm saying, he's very famous, very infamous out there. He got a book and I just wanted to come help being that we all queens. But we were talking, I'm sorry, we were talking about you. Maazing Mussolini. Yeah, I had amazing Mussolini uming Unit. I had Scarlett from the Unit. First, I fell in love with her. That's what sucked up. Um, Like, I don't think she sucked up herme career. I think me falling in love with her funked up her career.

I'm sorry, I never said that before. I'm gonna get then out pre married. You know, we're very very very bad man. They actually met her and my wife, my ex wife and my new wife hung out together recently, like I mean with with me there. It was very uncomfortable. It was very uncomfortable. No, no, no, she's not my wife. But I'm just saying, yeah, this is my second marriage. Man, actually about the first one, because I was because this is before the pre internet, pre internet you could get

away with pre internet. You can't get away with nothing now. But what period of career did you get married? The first time? Was a star already, This is might be after Melvin Flint, this is after Melvioun Flint getting into the Reunion album and um, yeah, and that's she's my best friend now, you know what I mean. And so she came out to see the kids because the kids living me in Miami, and it was it was uncomfortable.

But you know, was that the first time that the first time re interacted was the Miguel Codo fight Mayweather fight, right, and I had just dropped like a year ago. Prior to that. I was like, I knew them dudes that Rock Live was lazy and O g One was mad at me. So O g One was like, you tell him no, me to come upstairs, and I was like, I just wanted to Like, I was like, no, no, no, because I wanted to see him one on one on one.

And my ex wife walks wife by me, right, but I'm standing here with my new wife, so I was like, oh ship. She looked, she said, why do you ain't telling me he was in New York? And then my wife just swaps up because she doesn't know who this woman is. And I said ex wife, me, my new wife, new wife and my ex wife, and it broke the ice right there. They both just fell out. She worked up at the label. No no, no no, And since then we've just been cool, like I don't have baby

mama drama. I don't have I've got six children. Me and Pap is running neck and neck. He just got a lot more money to me. But yeah, man, I don't have I don't have this drama. I like, I like, I like to be who I am and I think that, um now uh, hip hop has accepted me for who I am. Like my brother Freeze just told me. He said, you know, people won't be shocked if you show up in camouflage socks and you know, purple suspenders because it's just Nori. It's like Norri's not he's not he's he's

He's unpredictable, you know what I'm saying. So yeah, I'm giving your couple. I don't know if you have a drink of CBS Studios, but it's a goddamn celebration. Each drink chance the podcast Drunk This is a drink Chance now that no longer rad Off podcast. But thank you all for having me. I think you're having me many questions. I mean, this is the same guy I had on my wall growing up as a poster. This is kind of crazy. You know. You the reason why I didn't

do a couple of therapy. Do you know that? Really we didn't. I didn't want to talk about No, we can talk about Um, I got it. I got a couple of therapy. Offer me a hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Yeah, you might have turned that. I didn't know that. It's the way he said it was. It was the way he said it. I hit him because I know he didn't know how much it was. I didn't tell you that would see me bringing us here. Goddamn. But um yeah, I mean, and my wife was having h m hmm.

Now do I call it like we were? It wasn't on the same page. So I was going to, um pay a therapist, right, So I'm going to pay a therapist, like let's have some marriage therapy and ship marriage therapy and ship yeah, yeah, you know, and fucking couples therapy calls me, they're like, yo, you know, we got such and such and I'm like, all right, so how much

is this? So they try to lowball me. There was like seventy five stacks like uh like nah, I was like, laugh, there's like a hunted I was like, okay, now we're talking a little bit. We'll talk a little bit down. I was like, is that fifty fifty because I mean, obviously you're married, so you know, And I'm like, baby, you got you gotta set your own account. I told my wife listen, you gotta set up your own account now.

So then it was one fifty and I called you and I called Sonny Anderson and I don't know, I don't remember when you all. Sonny Anderson said, but you'll both hurt my fucking feelings. Yeah, both was like, you're legend. Yeah it was, I remember that. It was a text actually, so Nori said, would you feel I probably still other text? He was like, would you be disappointed or had ripped that post off your walls if I did reality TV? And I'm like, no, are you alleged? Like what did

you do it? Man? I think you said get your money? But you get your money? Was not sincere I know you? The beauty want is? I know you, and I study you, study how you get down. You don't want to stand, you know what? I didn't do it, so, um Joe Button's wind up doing it? Okay. He looked a little different on there because you know it's just X. But um, I felt like Trat had did a good job. I mean, I still got a great report with the people over there.

But when I do it now, I don't know. Yes, I don't say Remy and Pap have made it better but hip. No. No, but just that their presence at least has made it better. He put he put, he put pressure on a lot. You're a married guy. You are married. You took a little long. I don't know where you're going with this. We're Mary. You got your ring on. I looked at my ring right here, because you know, I've been in love years. I man, yeah, man,

I'm going on end being together with her. But I'm like four or five years married, and um, you can is a better husband and us. No, I can't say. He just he knew how to put he would have worked that camera. He was working that camera boy, But um yeah, he made me want to step my game up, man, want to love my wife more? Like like damn, like he what he was doing. I was like, damn. But I think that presence has made reality a little less nasty. It's not as bad of a beck on my heels.

Love and hip hop is on my heels. And when I used to be like no, I'm like consider taking meeting. That's how I keep hitting us. I don't know, that's what I keep doing with the love and hip hop. But you know, again, for me, Mona Scott raised me. You know, what I'm saying, uh Mahdi, all of them, they all my people, and and and before when I was offered to do love and hip hop, I felt like from the beginning I was gonna be fake because they was asking me to move to l A or

moved to New York. And I'm a New York person. I don't have the front like I live in New York. I don't live in New York like you know, you make the Miami move before how followed him? After I followed him? Um, and they were the big guys to make the big move to Miami. He was the first one.

And in fact, when I came out there, and you know, the astortion boys come around, you know, you know the astorition boys come around, they'd be like, yo, you need you need any protection, and you need any And then they see me with my boy fan and they see me with my boyfad Joe and the boys leaving. You're good. You're good, You're good, like you know what I mean. But because Miami is a real place, like do not

get it twisted with South Beach. You know, there is a place across the bridge that I'll tell you a story. I was in overtown one night and my fucking tire buss boom. Right, I don't drive, so my homie pulled over up on him and it wasn't over town. It was parking beans poking beings brought right, So my tired bus boom. So we see ellen s want strops. You know the ship that you did, fix your ship, So we let's go get in there. I wrote a blunt I just hear the police right there, so I'm looking

to think it ain't move. So I'm like, yo that I'm being nosy. I won't go over to the police. I said, Yo, you don't hear that ship. He said, that's another town. Yo. Snapchat was popping. I was a snapchat that then. But now, let you know, because Miami's a real place, a lot of people. No, no, no, no, no no. But you you have a good relationship with me. I mean you did super Thug out there right, Actually the video you're talking about super Doc, didn't you record

it out there? No? Yeah? I like your I like your style. I wrote it out I wrote it out there. I like I like you. I was going with that was like your chemistry with Farrell Because everyone talks about super thug but you know nothing and Grimy headbuster, why do you for real work so well together? I think it's were the zac opposites, like, um, I've never many times we've been in the studio, I have never ordered the same food places him so after super thing, like

it's something that simple guy. But like with those records when y'all in the studio together, like Grimy, Yeah yeah, Grimey, I tell you a funny story about Griming Chris Lity rest in peace, Chris Lidy. We rerecording Grimy and Chris Litty had Brandy in the studio. He had ray J in the studio and I forget who else? Right, so, um, you know, but don't you don't post none of this. Let them post it first though. You you go, you gotta sail. That's good. I'm so um so all right cool.

So do people come in the studio. I forget who else? It was Brandy, ray J and and somebody else, and I'm in there and I'm calling Grimy and the people come in there and say everybody gotta leave the studio. So Chris Lidy is like why, it's like because we gotta start coming through the studio. Come on, man, I'm professional. So they said our podcasts, fat, you don't want to see you. We got donkeys walking through it, like I'm

trying to be professional. So um so Chris, Lady's like, why why the fun and they're like, well, Janet Jackson won't walk through the studio unless everybody's out the studio because he has another room. She had had the room behind us. So Chris, fuck that fuck Janet Jackson. And I'm just sitting there like I had no I had to like the puss face on because I'm like, and he goes right Mari, and I'm like, that's Penny, Penny, Chris, let's get all the asks up and walk out. Chris,

fuck Penny. I couldn't agree with him. Man, I was like, man, that's Penny. And I don't remember if Chris Evert walked out. I definitely was it. Everybody that Chriss the Carters is that motherfucker paying more money than me? And they didn't say no. The guy's favorite that was four Depth Tunes records on this. Yeah, I think I od on that. Oh no, it's great kidding me no, um oh no, what's my most played record, my most played video and my most played record ever. No, I'm saying that wrong.

My most played video, most played video that was Hype Williams eight hundred and fifty thou dollars. I don't know if you know the story. Um he wins. This is from the beginning. It was money just to meet Hype Williams. So he calls me, goes yo. I'm like, everybody has a video from Hype Williams at this time, right besides me. So Hype calls me, So Queen's that's that's how we talk.

Queen is similar to how we talk. He goes book book a book a room at the at the Trump ironically right, So I book a room with the Trump uh circle center, Uh right up there. You know what my own fifty if going towards uptown. So I book a room. It's like seventeen hunting right. So I'm thinking like he's gonna have like choreographers come. He comes, he comes, He goes, Nori, this is what we're gonna do. We're

gonna do a fight video. So I said, a fight video. Now, all my niggas, I got niggas from my hood, you know, left frag westside Queen's Bridge. Raibers Wood, they go to the fights, they do the things that Washington ship with the Minx and all that. That never was my style. So he goes, do you know Roy Jones? And I'm like, nah, but I'm the biggest word Jones fan. He calls his assistant, this is Hype is the man. So Where Jones calls the We're in the room. Now it's just me and Hype.

It's very awkward, but it's just me and him because I don't know where this is going. I don't know where this is going, but I know it's not flagrant. But it's just it's just we're in a flagrant environment. We're in the room, you know what I'm saying. So, so, um Where Jones calls, He goes, Yo, what's up. I'm like Yo, I'm I'm you know what I mean. Huge fans like fuck, you know, I know who the funk you are. So we're like, yo, you know, we want

to film you, um practice fighting for the video. This is how this how, this is how tough Roy Jones was at the time. Jones like, fuck a practice fight. I'm fighting this Saturday. So me and Hype look at each other like He's like, you get sixty Saturday, and I'm like, yeah, I don't know. It's not my money, that's not my sixty grand. But I'm like, fuck it,

let's do it. So so Roy's like this Saturday. So if you look at the video, the original video I had, Michael Jordan's in there, Jordan is a hater hip hop. He only likes hold. That's it. That's it. That's where it stops. It's holding. That's it. I've seen him shut red Man down. I've seen him shut Red Man and Christmas Party. We're all sitting there waiting to speak to Michael Jordan and I said, yo, read Man and method manager. He said, fuck rap, see the nigga say that. I

was like, it's my face. I'm gonna sign here, man, somebody somebody now now quote me. But I believe it was right. Man. I meant man and I'm to the side. So I'm seeing like I could directly hear his voice. This wasn't He was like funck rap. I was like that ship hurt me, Christmas party hosting and ship like that. He only spoke hold, but he spoke the hole. He spoke the hope. That's that's without a doubt. So so anyway the podcast. No, I didn't really do it. I

didn't really do so anyway. Um, so we filmed the video it took. It is the first time HBO ever let cameras in their offices. That wasn't the cameras before. This is way before. So between hy Williams, Roy Jones and the sixty bands, they let us go in. But the only person that didn't clear the image was Michael Jordan's. Wow, that's the fact. But you look at if you really look at the first the old over the first one. We got Jordan's in there, you know what I'm saying,

and he shut us down. I want to speak on another hater too, why Little Sean. I didn't want to do a song with you. Man, that's the one you were talking about the band from TV that was Big Sean. I was talking about Little Sean. I was talking about Big Sean. I was just poking fun at him because I was just poking fun at him because, um, he was like the first dude I ever met that didn't give it up. And this is on Jesus, take the way you talk about that. Yeah, he didn't give it up.

When when I met him, I was like, yo, what's up, my dude? And I tell everybody I'm a fan of them. I'm lying, you know what I'm saying. But it's like you're supposed to say that. He's supposed to say, yeah, I'm a big fan, and I'm expecting you to say that back. You know what I'm saying. I have a lot more years than you in there, And he had no knowledge of you. He was just like like you know, and I was just like you know, uh. And his people who was holding them down was like people that

else chumps to me, you know what I'm saying. But I didn't want to go there, so I just was like okay, and and and to me for me, listen, if you're not a fan of me, I'm a grown ass man dog. I made millions of dollars. I am happy, I'm in a great space of my life. You could say, yeah, I'm not feeling the record or I'm not feeling it and I'm gonna get your five. Because me and you don't musically connect doesn't mean we can't connect in another way. And I just felt like he did me wrong, like

he just handled me wrong. He was just like yeah, yeah, yeah, speak to my manager like dog. I was the hottest thing on moving two thousand and one. I was the hottest thing moving two thousand and two, two thousand and five, I was the hottest thing moving. I know what speak to my manager means, like, I know what that means. I'd rather you be like, yo, I'm not feeling it all. Let's hang out a couple of more times. I want

to get to know you because because that's who I am. Like, I'm not I'm not anybody that comes up in the game. I'm not doing a record with anybody. You know what I'm saying. But I would like to know who you are. Once I know who you are, then I'm an I could co sign that or not, but he just handled it around. It also seems so rare because you have these great relationships, like how how are you able to maintain these? I call b dot when it's Christmas time?

That's true, How is your Christmas going? I call a Rob Marksman, I'll call u Elliott Wilson. I'll send you a d M. Thank you for finally giving me a number. I would have never asked you for it, because because you're a big guy. Once the interview hold, you stayed there I said he's different, you stayed them and changed him, but I didn't, you know, But that's how it is. I'm just I'm a guy that actually will call you and I don't need nothing. But see some people will

call you and need something and need something. But see that's not my style. Like that's the reason why you know me and Me and Charlemagne and Envy and and and funk flex. Like I don't have to pound funk flex down when I say your flex, I need you flexes easy, nor I got you and then and then my people will call me your flex played it flex played. It is because I'm a genuine person. I don't really know how to be fake. Don't get me wrong. I know how to be fake, but I don't know how

to be fake with somebody that already knows me. You know what I'm saying. I'm saying, like if I meet you, if I meet something like that, I meet the people from CBS, God bless you, somebody as fake as hell lets you, but not fake like fake fake, but like I'm gonna be. I want them to feel comfortable with me because I eventually think they're gonna fire me at some point. Because but we're doing on our podcasts. It's horrible. It's horrible you you tweeted recently till you're saying like

hip hop is such in a great place. If you're not, you know, and if you're not saying that you're not getting money or you're just a hater, you're just to hate that because, um, there's great moments that's happening in the hip hop right now. Ahead, get busy. We gotta know more about its. I know Queen's ni came one Mike moviments downstairs. No no, no, Mike movies downstair. He got the mother low. Trust me. He hasn't hit me alcohol. Yeah,

but you know what it is. I take offense that when older dudes don't don't um respect what's going on now, they hate the youth. They hate what's going on is different, Listen,

it's a totally different thing. Like, um, like if you say the young dog right, like I got mad at Sway my first time being mad at swaye, you ain't had an answer way right When Young Thug came on his his show and Young Thugs said, you know, because you know, I'm the first person that called myself slide, Like what like, I'm not mad at Young Thug, I'm mad at Swaye. And the reason being is, sway that was two thousand and one. I brunk slime to this game, and I shouldn't claim that I'm an O G quote

unquote whatever they want to call me. But as a journalist, as a hip hop pillar, you should have checked him at that very moment. So Swaye retracted this statement the next day and put it out. But I don't like that. What I'm saying is is we should we should school to you. We should tell them. We should sit down and say, yo, listen. If a person comes out and says, uh a chick by by the way, say I'm the Don Diva. They got to know that there was a

Don Diva prior to you. You understand what I'm saying. I didn't invent the words slime. No, I didn't invent the word slime, but I made it hot in hip hop. I didn't invent hang hang, but I made it hot in hip hop. I didn't invent jump off, I made it hot in hip hop. I didn't invent hay to rade. I mean, I invented all of these whatever. But what you don't trying to say I brung it to the I didn't. I didn't invent the actual words head in the whip. I can't speak about that no more. You

brained down. At one time, I was brained I had I had one girl. I had one girl, all right. She I don't know why. She just heard my music and just she just sucked me off all the time. And I was just like, I don't want no more. This is this is during the bank bank this is no this is this is this is. I was just like, damn girl, like this is a rhyme. It's not really the reality. Like I don't really just want heads. Can I see how your bush look? Jesus? She was just

heading me. What was that like when you felt like when we first become like a star, Like, what's that feeling? Like warpark comes out to take you back? Too crazy? But I'm ready. At the time of Ward Report, everybody thought at first, but who are these guys? And not mob ded these guys, blah blah, And then the record was so good it just started to turn people into believers.

And then when NOI put up and gave me a five song sampling you Smell Me, it had Niggers on the Run eating It had five songs from them the debut, and I was like, this ship is fucking hot, this is hot. And all of a sudden everyone became a noise fan, like I was hating on CNN as a fake. I love War Report. Then everybody started to become a noise fan, and everybody just felt like part of building the movement. And then super Stuck came out and took off and we were gone, Well how you remember it?

No Um, War Report came out and I was still selling crack and it was the saddest thing in the world because Tragic Um and God bless him because if it wasn't for Trash, they wouldn't be no me, you know what I'm saying. But Tragic I don't think he wanted to ever be rich, Like does that make sense? Like I think he wanted to have money, but he didn't want to be rich because to him, rich means

meant selling out, not authentic. Yeah. So I remember doing a record call you remember this joint, Don't let it go to your head now do Doom Doom? Did it over? Well? That was on the War Report album Original Beat, and he was on The Report album and you know what record it was? Um, I Sun, I'm leaving on the next plane. I don't know w and yo. This is why I always tell this to the poem. He sold me out, so the poem comes to the studio session. It was like, that's dope. He was like, that's dope.

You know, something like words because I had heard this ship in my grandmother's house and I just asked easy LP. I was like, you ever heard this record Doom Doom to Doom, and E's LP played. I forget who it was, but he played it. Don't let it go to you. But I just I said, um, I'm leaving on the next plane. Trash walks in the studio. It was like he was prints at this time, smoke Yeah, purple ship. I don't know he had purple, but I'm just saying in my mind right now he had purple. And he said,

what did we puffed Daddy? And I was like what He's like, are we puffed daddy? If we sample, we sample like Havoc. We don't sample like Paul. You know, my heart, I ain't gonna lie to you. Still to this day, right now, I think saying this, my heart went to my shoes because I thought I did the right thing. And I looked at Capone and Pone was like work. He just told me it was dope, so

let me. I'm getting to where I'm taking it. So I had I was being ready for for all, like I was being ready for that next because I hated the comparisons to marb Deep, not like because I hated they were heavy at the time. People don't realize, it's just that. It's just that NAS was so so so uh huge and then mob and they expected us to only do what they were doing and and just stay there. So um, after the war report dropped, I'm just sitting around selling crack. Not because I wanted to, it's just

because of what everyone said. You got a hot album album, Connelly. I gotta always give this props to Akaelly. He actually stood there and he seen me make a cell and he had a fantastic. He pulled over the fantastic and he was like, nope, come here, and I was like, you know, I accepted all my collect cars while I was in jail, so he could talk to me like that. He could be like, come here, and he was like,

what the funk I just seen you do? And I was like doing what I did, and he just said look and every five cars that drove by, I was playing the War Report. But me, I still didn't know how to make that make money poem and Tras relationship was like this. Me and Tras relationship was like this when he went away, So I didn't know how to call Trash and ask for royalties. I didn't know how to call nil Avin and ask for royalties. So I just kept pumping. What happened was and I gotta give

it to a Jungle Jungle. I gave Jungle bullets or Jungle gave me bullets or something, and we we connected, and Jungle was just like damn, like you're a real nigga. And he was like, um, you know, gonna fly you out to Miami to work on this firm album. This is before they announced it, this is before anything, right, So I was like, all right, cool the thin use

they were calling me back. I was so gashed. And then like this was no Instagram back then, but I've seen pictures of them in Miami and I was just like, oh, ship right, And you know, we didn't have a relationship. I could call him and complain. I said, you know what happened to me the shot. So two weeks later, Jungle called me. It was like, you thought I forgot about you, right, And I was like yeah, And he flew me out to l A. They flew me out to l A. And they never told me nothing about

Dr Dre. They never told me nothing about track masters. They just said, if you're flying out there and we're gonna do this song, we're gonna do these records. So I walked out there and when I came in the studio it was Dr Trey and he was like the engineer, like keeping a hunting with you. It's like track masters doing the beats. But Drey was like critiquing on and the first, the very first, this is how me and trash Beat started. The very first record Drey played was

like it was like, don't let it go to your head. Yeah, you know what these niggas just told me. My ship is track So I went in and I said, y'all got something for that. He said, let me hear it before you lay it, and I said, I'm leaving man. And then I said, I said, he was like that first right now. So if you look, if you listen

to I'm leaving. The original chorus was to to not that beat, but it was a beat that similar to like that, and then he switched it because when I came in, it was so much aggression because I wanted to prove Trash wrong, Like that's all I wanted to do was prove it so and I had no idea it was gonna be a hit. Wow. So then you know, just like he took CNN ship and gave it away, and it was just like I let Tragh always tell the story. I never actually addressed it. What's in the highway?

How did you didn't go to Tommy Boy? Did they already know? Did they have those five songs already? Like? No, no, no, Um. What happened was, um, I'm leaving hands down set off my solo career because people people left me. They was like, well, we're gonna wait to Capone come home like him and the group is dead, you know what I mean? And um Capone, I mean excuse me. Uh. The record came out.

And when the record came out, God bless her. Dad pun called me and was like, yo, I want you to do um this this this record for me came up. So I was like, cause like guess the president before I forget it what guest appearances was before? And then Penalty had gave me five thousand dollars from my first record deal nn warri Port. I only made five thousand dollars to this day over the warri Port. That's crazy. So when you did like body the trunk, was that

because they forgot about you for the firm ship? Was that like a favor? No, no, no, I'm gonna tell you what it was. Um Nas was on music make the thugs calm down. NA, Let's to be honest. Na. Nas didn't want to rhyme because it was me a money bags r p e. Money bags. Money bags have broke Nas to my studio and um we had did a record called I Always Love Na Singing. So I

asked them, yo, because you sing this music. Man, he was supposed to rhyme, So he rhymed and then I rhymed and the money bags laid his verse and Trash was actually right because he came back in and said, Yo, we gotta take the money bags off because the money bags he was a gangster. He wasn't a rapper, but he did rap on the record. So Nas, who was his man, at the time, he kind of took it personal. He was like, nah, I clear it if bags is

on the record, I'm not gonna clear it. If if this is the word we heard, trash has a different story. Trash has a different story. He said something else, but this is the word I heard. So now nas is not on the wordpor the album, and now we're just out there, like you know. And I guess that was his way of repaying me, was putting me on the Firm album. And then when he put it on the Firm album, I remember like Fox, he's my sister now, but she was like, who fund is that nigga firm? Firm?

And they threw half a meal on the album. I was the only one like I flew out and I was, you know, I was real quiet at the time. I was just like yo boom. And then they gave me fifteen thousand, and I didn't know I sold my publishing to them at that point, neither I saw my publishing twice and one year I sold my publishing was sold from the Worriport for five thousand, and then I sold I have no rights to the Firm album, uh, fifteen thousand.

But I learned my lesson. Then I did puns and then after leaving, and then you know, Neil Levine he stepped up and was like, yo, I don't want you to leave. You know what I'm saying because technically I'm still signed as component Noriega, but they had to make a whole different deal. Penalty. Tommy boybator, well, well, well, Tommy, we're always owned. Penalty. It was like a penalty, was like a subsidiary. What it was, you know, I don't know the word, but but it was like a yeah,

it was that so um um. So they stepped up and Neil only offered me about five hundred thousand, I believe, and Tommy Boy came with the other three fifty and I got my first deals for five thousand, My next deals for eight hundred and fifty thousands. Go ahead. Makes a noise to me. So what was that process putting that together? That you have song of that deals already in my like not your first solo record, like what's

your Well, well, um, I went to Miami. That was the funny ship because I was wanted to go to Miami so bad. When they told me for the firm that that Miami star look, I mean, I went to MYA and I bumped into my boy dj E f N Day was in the studio with us, and it was it was, it was, Um. It was the realist moment of my life because had I failed, I wouldn't

have been able to blame nobody, you know what I'm saying. Um, And then you know, uh, I wanted Trash to be a part of it so bad, Like you know, I'm gonna humble with myself right now because you know, like earlier I was playing around, but I really wanted Trag to know that I was thankful for it. And I remember calling Trag and saying, Yo, come funk with from funk with it, and he was just like good luck. He really didn't like his favorite was Campone. I don't

give a funk what he says to you. I don't given what you say. He said to this day, like when they come around, I still get a little jealous because tragic poem, like their relationship is like fucking Queensbridge niggas, all right, you know what I'm saying, Like they know I've always been the outsiderer. So UM, I really did want Trash to um to come but he didn't see the vision. He didn't see that I was that I was ready to step outside. Like I didn't want to

be a hood dude. I didn't want to be just you know, just Nori can just rap about, you know, smacking bitches on their ass like I wanted to. I wanted to. That's why Super Thug. That was the very last record that was recorded on the n R E album. And in fact, if you listen to super Thug real close, at the end, I say R E Nori stands for Niggas on the Run Eating The remix it was actually a remix in O R E because the album was

already closed. But um, like I said, I just wanted so when I recorded that in R the album, I knew I had so much on me, you know what I'm saying. I know I had so much pressure, you know what I mean. I had Jungle around all the time. I had Dar around GM all the time. I had my uncle Wise, I had Shan Dona, and I had people that was just would tell me, you know, don't do that and do this. And you know, Jungle he's been around NAS, he's been around involved Yea. He was.

He was the executive producer. Jungle was the dude that when Animal Thug came to the studio, he owns the pluck you now, goddamn it makes a noise. He was the chicken delivery guy and he came through and he was like YO and me and Jungle was looking at this Nike and I was like, put him in the booth. And we put him in the booth and it was just as natural as that. It was not something to be planned. It wasn't something that he just walked in and was like, I got chicken fingers And he was

like what say what you got again? Got chicken fingers? And he was like you got ten minutes and he was like yeah, we put him in the booth and we just if you listen to that skit that's Jungle. I'm not even there. I'm outside the skit dying because he knew what to say to him, like you know

and UM, that's real ship. So when did you feel that that album was going to deliver, that that it was going to be successful, Like when was the first memories where you felt like I just kept coming to my sessions, like when NAS like if you listen to um, that's the lockout, that's Nas in the background, I'm not that's locker. Um uh ship huh No, I love my life. He sung the chorus, but um, you do like to get him on the hooks. What's what's what's what's the joint? Right?

Got to call him sale? What the hell? Then Niggers just shot that raild Well that part if you listen, that's Nas on the ad libs like Nas, he felt my energy. Like it's like it's like right now, when you see Kanye West and you see him hanging out with these dudes, it's because Kanye knows there's energy when when when when Traffs Scott got was talking to a window, Kanye is smart enough to say, look, young boy, come

hang out me in the studio. Because it doesn't matter whether Travis is writing this ship or whatever, that doesn't matter. You know what matters is he's absorbing that energy. Sometimes you can have energy and you kind of know when somebody's in the zone. And he saw that with New Problem, and I guess I realized that later, like because Na's had no business being in my sessions. Like what I mean when I'm saying he had no business is he

had better things to do. And he came around and when we did I Love My Life, he was like, I got the hook for it, and I was like word and he laid the hook and then you know, we did Body in the Trunk. We stole that, by the way, what you mean, Um? All right? Cool, cool, this is dope, This is dope. All right? My man shot pal black fawns. Right. I wanted to rhyme. I don't know why. He's a gangster. I don't know why gangsters want to rhyme. We gotta stop this, we gotta

stop this. Write a book, goddamn it, the book, like my man Freeze, please stop, please, please do a book. But um, Chapelle wanted to rhyme, but out of nowhere, like he's he's like against it from my hood, and he just started rhyming. Right, So we pick up Jungle and Jungle started rhyming too. So they're going back and forth and they're like, you know, what's the Body in the trunk. It's a body song body And it sounded horrible, but I called it. So I'm like in the trunk.

So I get to the studio and now just like yo, we got too many, you know, we got got triple threat. This is when you know we had as we took Nature's record, I give you to that story later. But he didn't rhyme fast enough. Me and As waited as soon as he left the studio was like, you any man, let's call Booms that whole record. Nature came the next day and was like, I think it's his foul virgos. You know what I'm saying, and then he laid his ship.

But um so, me and As were in the studio and this is this is like this, this is my feature for him, because um you know, Sony had made it clear you get one Nas feature. That's it. That's why you've never seen even the original you never seen feature. And I Love my Life called Thomas later came and sung it, but um Nas wrote that hook. So we're sitting down and I was like, we gotta do a concept record. So I'm like word. So we're sitting there,

it's like two or three hours passed by. I'm smoking weed and I no, I just to always tell me you'll stop putting your cigarettes in my cup because I don't know why it's to always put it cigarettes in the cup. And he's like, goddamn it, you know what I mean? He almost drink a cigarette, so alright, cool. It goes by. I go to the bathroom and these niggas are still out there. It's somebody in the trunk. So I'm like, yo, yo, I'll go back and I'm like yo, I'm looking at the sun and I'm like damn,

because I know this is stealing. I know it. I know it then, but I was like damn. So I went back to the bathroom again and they still out there. So I came, I said, your son, these niggas is out there playing with this ship. He's like what they're playing with? He said, it's a body in the trunk. He's like, that ship is dope. I'm like, real close the door. We wrote that ship in like twenty minutes. Them niggas came in and was like foul and it was it was. It was really all for two people

that's that don't rhyme. Though it wasn't like it was a Zy and Foxy Brown, then we would have been thieves. But this was two people who don't rhyme that was playing with a concept that actually was dope, and it fit. It fitted so perfect. So then when they came in, we had about a verse and a half maybe two verses done, and then they came in. They gave us all the input like no, no, no, no, put the seven train right here like they We had to, We had to. We You mentioned Foxy. I know a rememorable

session I did was you know, bang Bang? I heard her interview. You said, you know, Foxy went the bathroom locked, hers shipped in and she came in and did her did a thing. Where are those verses that didn't incredible cuts? Got it? Incredible cuts, so incredible cuts, got about twelve Neptune records, like, um, he got so many sessions. I won't even I won't even ask him because you said those verses that she did hard were more disrespectful bang Bang.

It was horrible. Um, I didn't understand because we just asked Foxy to get on the record, right. We didn't know if she was trying to go direct to quiet storm, Like I didn't think like that. Like now I think like that. Now I can say, you know, if I do a record with somebody who got beef with somebody, they're pretty much going to air it out with me. But I didn't know that then, So I said, I just said, your fox come to the studio and ship,

and she's like what she put it together? She's like seeing, man, I know they don't believe dumb names. And if they don't, and I don't, shorty, they got the quiet storm out. She can't. She had verses ready, like she just was there, like I've never seen a girl coming to the studio with six verses. And then my brother, my brother, um, one of my one of my close friends, and name is six seven. But um, if you ever want to be talked out of doing something negative, he's not the

person to talk to, Like he's the ultimate gasser. So six seven is in this booth like good old good up, and we don't know what's going on. You know, the boof is is sound proof, so we outside. I just see him just going like this, and she's spitting him the verses and said, you know, he's a hood nigger,

so he's enjoying every minute brown. So she goes and she lays it, and I was just like, damn, like it was bad ship, Like it was ship like bigs moms might have said something about you know what I mean? So um, so was it you or someone that was like listen, that's o D. Let's just keep it there. I want to take the credit, but I don't remember.

So that still was drama. Still, it was still Um, it was still drama, and it definitely didn't solve anything because I thought that they would understand that this is the water down verse. You know what I'm saying. If the Internet was alive back then, I could listen, this is the this is the least disrespectful I could have did that on Twitter. You feel bad when Little kid

ultimately went to jail for that? Absolutely? Um, I mean I didn't feel bad when Little Kim went to jail because like I had anything to do with it, because if you um google or use your googles how they said, um, my name is in the case at all, you know what I'm saying. I technically wasn't there, Like even when the FBI came to to get me, they was like, you know, so what happened afterwards and what I listen,

I wasn't there, Like I really wasn't. Like there's records of me saying that I was trapped that um the on the West Side Highway. Now let me just correct you, because um he said, was I mad? Um Kim didn't go to jail because of this, you do. Little Kim went to jail because she didn't say that she was she knew the rock. She didn't go to jail. Nobody. I feel like you just compassionate that something so ridiculous. I haven't seen Kim since then. I met Little Kim

in my life. This is a fact that's crazy, you know, everybody, I never met Little Kim. But Buster has a show, right, so we're gonna perform. I go and perform. And after I perform, I sit right there. I turned around. Little Kim's right there, and she gives me that look like, say hi to me, nigga, but I don't. I don't know if that lookers say hi to me, they go don't say hi to me. They get pretty much the same, right. So I'm like, I'm like, but but I respect Little

Kim like. She has never hated on me. She's never said, you know, if Norwy's there, I'm not going to be there. To me, that's some people have done that. People have done that, But to me, that's a g you know what I'm saying. I'm saying. And it was crazy because when Little Kim's um she pulled up, I was outside smoking a cigarette so she pulled up. All her goons had jumped out the truck. I'm ready for it. I'm sitting. Yeah, her goons was niggers. I was in spotted with it,

just like left frack. What like if you called me left frack, you was in jail with me. You know what. I'm saying this so he can look. I'm like, yo, what. He gives a pony of five and I say the poem. I said, you don't even know where you know them from. He's like, no, I don't know what I know. I'm like, yeah, we was in with them. Negatone was like, damn, that's little Kim goones. So her goons we actually knew. But I respected the fact that she still stood right there.

She performed, and she came and sat right back next to us, letting us know like he ain't pussy. My favorite bang Bang moment is when you guys performing at the tunnel and then copone jumps into the crowd. That video was on YouTube. It's class and they'll perform to the record. It's a fact. I'm like, yo, fact, it's like the perfect soundtrack to what is going right. I mean, we was taught that though, you know, you came from violator, you know Acnelly. Nothing stops the performance, but it was

so perfect. Nothing stops the performance. I would get was that time when somebody threw so someone just came home, someone threw a drink on him. He has a it's right with it beat up, jumped in the crowd and he's just like, we're gonna dog this ship. I was like, yeah, this is incredible, this is a fact. And we did that at summer jam to um after the actual shooting, and we still performed that with Little Kim in the building. And I know I don't have no beat with Little

Kim or any or anything. Um. I never did. Actually, like I wasn't there, Like it's it's real. Ship Back to nas obviously you guys had the falling out. Was it just to step your rap game up? Ship? When he said that, Man, how you know how much I'm still hurt when you tell him bring it up right now? Get hurt. I get hurt because he had myself tell you something. Man. I ate in his crib. Man at that time, I was eating his crib. I remember in

Long Island he had the white buttery couches. I remember I just stood there because I didn't want a dirty nothing, because I'm a natural dirt bomb like I'm the Wingworm kid. I'm the guy that the dirt bomb kid. So I was in his crib like you know, and and I don't even know how much just bother Jungle was a part of it. Yeah, So that's why it hurt me, because honestly, if you felt and you know what it was, well he didn't know. And you gotta ask Mike Kaiser

and you can ask actually Foxy Brown about this. This was the day where he wanted to hang jay Z. Of course, right, he wanted to hang jay Z. And I didn't know about it. But when I got there, I see Mike Kaiser had people in play to pull the curtain, and I'm like, Kays, you're gonna let my man shine. You're gonna let him do whatever he's doing. I don't care. I don't got nothing to do with him and whole ship. But Hove went crazy last year, Ballerina and all this crazy ship. Now I don't want

to with hold all this crazy ship. You're gonna let my man go crazy. At the same time, this niggas at the next station. Fuck Milly Cameron Norial of niggas and I'm like, holy shit, and I'm it was mind blowing that I'm actually at one station holding him down. But mind you, I could see now that I'm older, I could see how he looked at it. He looked at it like Hove was death Jam. That's it, jay Z death Jam. Everybody else felt under once against him, and he felt like now I can see it like

back then, I couldn't against him. Everybody I was Deaf Jam. And then he signed the Deaf Jam. After that, queens and queens made the whole column off that God damn great time. But and not only that, Um, if you that album, which was God's favorite, God's favorite, the very first person that comes on the album, it's not so he had the album in advantage. You hit Jungle like what I never had. Jungle Jungle Jungle, Um, Jungle is a special type of guy. He never cut me off.

Even when I was beating with nas, he never cut me. He just knew we were both virgo stubborn people. You know what I'm saying. Even though I felt I felt like I was right, I felt well, I took it was wrong with whatever happened, No, no, no, whatever, whatever happened was wrong, But um Jungle has never turned on me like he's He's always stood there by me. But he's he's actually like the impitome of money can't really change you like that nigga is still in Queensbridge like

my nigger. This nigga got the opportunity to be anywhere, like I would have never came back from Dubai, like if Nas is my brother and I wanted to Dubai. Listen, my nigga, listen, I'm working with. I'm working with. I'm busting all in her tonight. You know, why do you think recently Miami? I guess when you finally have the conversation that was me, that was me? You know Honestly, um I had came around a couple of times when Nas was coming to Miami and he didn't have Queen's Bridge.

People would him and I didn't want to um engage into that conversation because I don't want to speak to people who don't know me, like I don't want to speak to people who if the conversation go right, they might not have consequences like you know what I'm saying, like if you speak to me and not like I'm gonna killer or something. But like I know Queen's Bridge people like I know, I would like to have the people that have respect in the hood. So when he

came out, I had did um uh brust. The roads had brought me out in a Dolphin stadium and and um Nas was there, and I walked in his room and I didn't see nobody from the QB. So I left, you know what I'm saying. One because I didn't want to seem like I was like threatening, and then two is that's not my cup of tea, Like I have to be around people you know of your origin, like I know people from Vernon Boulevard forty first side and

forty if side. I know people from forty side of Temps Street and forty one side of Temps Street, and the same thing with twelve Street. So that's the people who I identify with. And Nas is older than me, so whether he's with people that's his age or with people that's younger than him, I identified with them, and that's who I wanted to to squash it with, you

know what I'm saying. And I had never got that opportunity, so I stayed away even when I was seeing him like seeing like places in New York because one of the one thing for sure, two teams for certain. I'm not mad about being sorry, Like I have no problem with saying sorry, Like I'm never gonna be perfect. I could be close to perfect, but I would never be perfect. So I wanted to say sorry, like you know what

I'm saying. I wanted to say sorry, period. But what sucked me up is the first moment I've seen to him, he said sorry to me so and I forgot he like he initially started it. You know, I had totally forgot. I was, what's all my nigga? He was like, he grabbed me and pull me. He's like, I'm sorry, and I was just like, it fucked me up. How much of a man he was. And then I said I'm sorry, and then it's just Rose and Hennessey. And then he threw me on stage because it's one thing to say, yo,

I'm sorry. Yeah, we're cool. And he grabbed me and said, listen, mam dude, we're going to the stage. We're gonna let the world see this ship. And I was like, all right, cool. I still thought he was gonna go on stage and bottles and that nig It was to the DJ you put on nor Ship and I was like, oh, ship together, Na, I don't think we can. I don't know who. I don't know which one of us know the record better word? That was not a record. You know, I'm gonna actually

film the video. We're gonna film the video one day. I'm gonna come together. I'm gonna get them drunk. Hennessey and he likes, he likes whiskey. He likes Asian whiskey. He's he's definitely getting a lot of money. When you your spiritment with Asian whiskey, You're You're different, You're different. So big him up for that. I love wine. I love wine. I'm a wine connoisseur. But I mean it's so it's it's, you know, just to bring things forward.

Hip hop is offering so much opportunities right now. It's just you gotta you gotta go into them doors and crack it. Man, you know what I'm saying. Like where Nas is at, you see, you see what he's doing, You see what Hove is doing. It's so much opportunities. And I I, for one, I like the new music. I can't sit around and tell you I don't like a young Doug. I can't sit around and tell you I don't like a Yo Gotti. I can't. You know

what I mean. I live in Miami. I hearty, you know what I mean, And and I understand what's going on. I don't want the O G s hating like I got O G that's on my line all the time, and NIS be waiting for you to drop out, like don't wait for me, nigga, Like don't wait for me nigga, Like like like this this great ship that's going on out there, you know what I mean? So yeah, definitely we're not a time so many Rather come on, I love your Mom's always. I probably wanted to win the

five rap records. Haven't made me cry because of that record. It's the truth, Like you had that record you make you want to call your mom and it wasn't you lost your father during lost my father? Was that part of why you think that record? Like? How did you do it? So you become big successful? Like to go back to the first album, then you finally faced adversity. That second album doesn't go where you wanted to go. Melvin Flint didn't go where I wanted How did you

deal with that. I um again, I had like a fifty dollar to check something like that. And then Pun unpassed and and you know what, Pun messed me up more than my father. And the reason why I Punt messed me up more than my father. I knew my father was sick. I knew he was having kidney failure. I knew that he moved out of New York City because of his ship that was sucking with him. But Pun, I never saw him sick like I never saw like when like Pun has sleep apnea, meaning like he'll go

in the middle of our conversation. But I thought I was boring, so I would try to. I thought I would try to literally living up my conversation. Man, keep his snick off, you know what I mean. Like, but I didn't know that that was a disease then, Like I didn't know that that was called sleep at me, you know what I'm saying. So, uh, when Pun died, I remember going to his casket, uh at the at the funeral. And I never did this. I never did

this with anybody that was dead. And I was talking to Pun and I was like, yo, b I don't understand this ship. And I remember God blessed the death flex from t X, not from flex flex from ts. He came to me and he's seen how much I was crying. He was like, yo, he's not suffering no more. And I remember like me ignoring him because I was still talking to Pun. But then he then I picked him up and I was like suffering, Like what do

you mean suffering? I've never seen Pun stuffer like I've seen Pun ride a scooter, like I seen Pun jump over gates like you know that you came up video where he jumps off the thing. Like I was in the conversation for half an hour. Pun is telling them I can do that. Tell him right, Nori, I'm like, what the fund are you? But I'm like, but in my mind, I'm not gonna die. Is all the way up there, You're like six hundred pounds. But I never seen him sick. So his death hit me more than

even my father. Like I remember where I was at. I remember I was in West Orange, New Jersey in my crib my first career, but I ever bought and I got the call and I remember I think it was May Martin Moore and made him Back in the day, college radio, college radio sorry. So man said your Pun died and I was like, this is not this. There is no part of this is funny, Like this is bad and he was like nah, and then I forget.

I forget. Somebody from Loud called me. It was like Pun passed and it was just like whoa between Pun and my father. I tried to take a break, like I tried to be like yo, you know, but I took the check. The check was rot, you know what I'm saying to So I had to finish this album.

So Melvin Flint, I hate that album, not hate it because you know, I was scared you not white people and not just white people, but people see me at the bar and be like you take that ship back about Melvin Flint, I'm like, what, like that was your best album and I'm like it was half album and they were like, no, motherfucker, that ship was there. Like the other day, somebody hit me cocaine business controls America and I'm like, yeo, I got that from Careless, right.

I didn't make that up. I didn't make that up like somebody had a shirt cash money on their money. Early on that I was that I was the first one who worked with cash Money in the New York City area, and I think as well Prodigy did with young black entrepreneurs. That was that was, That was way after But um uh, I remember cash money, um because I had paid Manny excuse me, I had paid baby uh for the many Fresh be right, and I wanted just Juvie. I was a Juvie fan. Do you want

to be huh. I'm the one who brought that ship to New York. I went to Anti Martinez and I just kept saying, I don't know not being huh. I like,

what the funk are you talking about? Like I'm like, this is this nigga, because I'm gonna tell you why I wanted to work with master P. Master P had had a group signed to Penalty Records called Skull Duggery Skull Duggery, and I felt like once he signed the penalty like a half owned penalty, like like technically, but I'm the nigga, why you don't know about penalty and master people is charging us like a hun He was like, you told me give me a hundred twenty thous I'm

like Jesus, like I'm not sure he worked that, you know. So I went to New Orleans, I had a show because it's mad Spanish people in New Orleans is something that people don't know about. So I'm in New Orleans and they're like, this is another this is the other niggas, and these people are putting me on the cash money. So cash money, And obviously I heard Juvie and I was like to be huh no no, And I was like, yo, I need to funk with this nig This nigga is hard.

And I came and I said it. And like maybe two months after Hove did Diverse all the remix for High, but I had already had them in New York. And this is the first time I ever you know, we knew York people don't eat palk and ship. It's the first time I've ever seen somebody ordered like bacon on pizza. Like these niggas ordered bacon on pizza. Like I didn't

even know you could do that. Like they had bacon, they had sausage, they had um, what's the ship tapp of rony they had, they had they had everything on the pizza. I was like, did that come from New Orleans? Like they're like, no, we got it from here. Like they had my whole students as a something like like like a pig. It was dope, but it was dope. It was like so hip hop b G. And then this is where they guy, this little guy named Rain, and I made him change his verse his first verse.

I was like a little way change. I was like, yo, can you do something else? And he did something else and he murdered it And twelve years after that still my friend. But he always remembers it too. You know what I'm saying, You always remembers it. So you felt like you redeemed yourself of God's favorite. I definitely did feel like I think I would deem myself a God's favorite. I was so um, like my favorite CEOs, I'm sorry, Like nil Levin is my first, you know what I'm saying.

I know he feels terrible when I say this story, but he's my first. And uh, he's the first person that embraced me and gave me a big check. But my favorite CEOs is Leo comes Um besides nil Levini let me out there, but Leo cons Kevin Lows, Mike Kaiser, Julie Greenwall, Randy akerd You're here coming off like technically your first brick, Right, how does def jam embrace you? Like, how does that happen? Like? What is that? Well, Melvin Flint didn't brick. It's still in gold, but um, what

happened was I didn't like Tommy Boys rollout. It wasn't It wasn't for Melvin Flint. It was the reunion album. What happened was Warner Chap whatnot want to chat with the publican company, but Warner Brothers exceptter Tommy Boy and said, you guys are not making money. You have three access making money. Unfortunately, the three acts that was making money, two of them was on Penalty was CNN and Nori. So Tom Sillerman's what now did I think about it? He was a genius. Back then I thought he was

a scumbag. So he said, fuck penalty, we're closing Penalty down and we're taking capone, Noriega and Nori. But it's the way he did it. It was so disrespectful to me because like we had Mr. Childs and he's like, yeah, you know, I know you guys hang out the penalty every day. Yeah, He's like, don't go there tomorrow. We're like why not. He's like, uh, you come hang out on time, you boy, we have a smoking section for you. And I'm like, why, It's like I dropped the whole penalty,

but this is a week before the reunion. It's supposed to drop now, mind you. Me and Leo le All, leoll used to be trying to steal me from penalty from day one. Le All been going through. It's like I did the research, Nori, and this is not the label it did you. The label sucks. I want to get you. So I'm like, all right, Leo. You know, the first time I met John Rules with Leo, he brung like you, I'm gonna shoot you some queen shit.

You know what I'm saying this, And this is why I fell in love with lee All the minute of the first time he called me, He said, where are you at? And I said that he came up video shoot. I'm like, I'm at a pun video shoot. He said I'd be there in the hour. He never said where, he never said what state, he never said he just said I'll be there in the hour, and then he

was there in the hour. To me, that that's why that's why we gotta watch what he's doing with young Dog right now, because I think he sees I've never I have never seen leoll do radio. I'm a breast to what's going on in the internet. He's at Andree Martinez with young dog. He's sway in the morning with young dog like that he didn't do. That's his DMX, My dude. He'll go all out to get you. But

once he gets you, you on your own. Like we used to have a saying that def Jam used to be like Hove, d Max, al l Co, j and Ja Rule. They get the three million dollar budgets, Nori method Man, red Man, Freeway, Keith Mary. We don't get to three million dollar budgets, but we stay on tour for the whole year, so we grind out our gold while I meanwhile, you know Hove and you know l L they just dropped and they and they and they

get their goal. But um le all was one of the most I give you a better, I give you better story. This is how, this is how you know? LESL Right. I shoot a video called I'm Gonna Live My Life with J Right. J Rule lives next door to me at the time, Right Jersey, New Jersey, Ja Rule, I got I got three cars, but Ja Rules three cars is different from my three cars. Okay, he got a may Back, I gotta fire on a b ends. I got a hummer he got I don't know, we

got something bigger than the hummer. Right, I gotta fucking drop Lex. He got the fucking drop Bins. Right. So I realized where his money bracket is different. We might live on the same street, but he's getting a lot more money than me. Right, So naturally I want to do a job rule based record. I said, your job, I want to I want to radio record. So we go do a radio record. It's called I'm Gonna Live My Life. It's on Guard's Favorite. Right, I shoot the video.

I rent Lamborghinis, I rent Porsches, I would do all the ship that's not with Lee all wanted for me. Right. So Leo comes to me and says, Nori, you have a studio session tonight. Right. I'm like yeah, He's like, I would be there. Make sure you invite all your friends. This is the first time a CEO that's ever said bring your friends, like, bring the toughest of the tough. So I'm like what, I'm like, all right, let me just testing what then is going on? Come out and

bringing the hammers man. Leo want to see the hammers right, So we're going there. He's there before us. He's sitting there. He's like, did you see the video? I'm like, no, what the video? He's like, the video the one that you want your first single? Oh my god? Right, he puts his VHS. I'm sorry his VHS. I'm old. He put the VHS in. We all watched the video. Hey white. He's like, because you know, you're seeing yourself. So like

Nigga's just like, oh, look, you see the bitch. So Leo is just waiting there and everybody's like he's letting everybody like love it. He's like and he goes. He goes to me, nor we do you like the video? Like the video of the video? He said, are you gonna ask me my opinion? Let's say Lego puts your opinion. He said it is popcorn. Up until this morning, I thought popcorn was a good things. The first time Nigga said it is popcorn. So I'm like, I'm like the

way he used it was wrong. So I'm like popcorn. I'm like, what do you mean? He's like, this is a jar Rule video. Ju will be over in three months I didn't invest in two r E to be a jar rule. So now he's offending me, like like, damn, Like I lived next door to job, I don't know what are you talking about, Leo, This nigger guy I stretched me back out there. I don't know, but I'm just saying, he's getting a lot of money. Man. So I'm like, he's like, this is not what do we

want from you? This is has a song with Memoria Kerry TLC and and uh Jennifer Lopez. At the same time, you can't do that. And I'm like, mind you, I'm fucked up in the heat. So he goes, if I cut you right now, what would you bleed? Like Nike talking, I said, I would bleed blood, he said. Asked me the same question, said Leo. If I cut you right now, what would you bleed? He said, sucker and c by run DMC. I said, damn, that was hard. That was hard.

I knew where he was going. So he goes, I'm gonna ask you again, if I cut you right now, what would you bleed? I was like super dog, he said, exactly, for I was in Virginia waiting for you to car services downstairs. Go if it wasn't for Leo, we wouldn't have Homeboy. I came to park then Nigga shut me down. Six miles I've spent on this video, and his deal was it never came out. I never came it came out, but it came out fruit leg But um so he said,

listen right now, you spent three hundred. We're not gonna give a little extra other three hundred. But if you do what I say, this budget will wind up on somebody else's budget. But you must go to Virginia right now. Farrell was waiting for you, and I was so pissed. I walked. I came downstairs. He had two car services. I tried to call my wife. She's like, we already called me. Is really good? Really like? My wife was like, yeah, okay, we were straight. Just go the way he's talking, you

better go. So I went there and Farrell called me and where I was like, Yo, you ever heard the Jungle Brothers. I'm like yeah, he's like Uncle Sam Mike geese Man with his manager Chris This journeys Slamm five thousand boom and WATS sound System stated it up. So he's like, yo, go to fucking tower Records. I'm sorry, I'm old. Tower was open at the time. Go to Tower Records and pick up that Jungle Brothers record. So

Farrell made me study this record. Now, if you listen to it and all poppy say what that nigg is the man with his manager Chris Cinel with a jazz still floors and showing your rod, it's the same exact flow. So he made me take the cadence. He made me take the floor. But you know what he gave me before that. He gave me ice ice baby. M He says, study ice ice Baby. I I'll stop it, just stop stop.

I did study it. You know what that is? Halleback Young, halle back rolling go to see this collaborating I had. I had fabs Hallyback Young and first he even to me, he was like, but I just couldn't study it because I was like, damn man, ice ice baby, it's not me Like I just kept seeing Hammer's pants. I just kept picturing my soide, I was like, if I listen to him now, he's gonna tell me to do it in the video, you know what I mean? And that's

that's that's how you got homeboys. I came to party this is why this podcast CBS sign me, CBS, It's going there. Chance yes, yes, ye do this man. I can already tell you we're winding down. Thank you all for having me, Thank you all for being When is the podcast? Friday? Friday podcast dropped along with the Drunk Uncle um uh mixed album I want to call it. Yeah, we're doing it both. I'm actually you know, I just I just want to impact the internet, continue to do

what I gotta do. Uh. For for those that that that are CBS followers and CBS where we actually the first time we're announcing it. We we we let out a little blog when we put the CBS logo, but we're actually on the same exact station as Elliott Wilson and my brother beat died. My brother. How many Kenny Anderson talk about and excited about that Got I Got, I Got, I Got, We got we got gun play at campone, which is hilarious because we got compone to admit that he's Haitian and he don't want to be.

He's yeah, I know in Miami he admitted it, but everywhere else he don't. I but you know, I like that that's been a joke for him for years, but we got uh first episode is Fat Joe. We got Fat Joe doing a lot of dumb ship that he wouldn't normally do, and then we got Kenny Anderson. I wanted to do something different. Um. Then after that we got gun Play and Capone. Tonight, we're doing Pause tonight. The locks tomorrow is jar Rule of His Crib. And

then after that we want to do tax Stone. And I didn't want to bite off for y'all because I was gonna get the Breakfast Club. But I was like, damn the Preface Club. They came up here. I gotta I gotta have some type of So I got a tax Stone and see the guard you know what I'm saying. Like, you know, I didn't wanna have the same exact pictures y'all like them. I don't want to bite them like you know what I mean to creative on the show,

I would love to. I ain't gonna lie. I was about to steal this show and just give it to TV and say just listen, don't just just don't worry about it, you know what I mean? But yeah, man, um, I'm thank you, thank you all for having us, and you know we appreciate this, the CBS family for giving us a chance, because we're really really the exact opposite of what CBS represents. What you say, it's gonna be excited. Yeah, and you guys a journalist, You guys are great at

what you do. Me and he fing are great at what we do. It's just what we do. It sucks so fucked up. It's like it's funked up in a great ray, which is that, Oh, the book, Just get the bus, get to the book too. My man, this is he just came home from jail. This is how I feel like you should come on from jail and do a book. Not no shots at nobody, but you know what I'm saying, I'm saying, and um, he's he's a great guy, you know, from from Naas to everybody,

you know, great influence. He's from Queens and I just wanted to you know, in the title, uh, it's called My Big come on, come on say something, Come on, man, come on say something. Goddamnit. No, no, it's okay. I'll be a don king. You know. The book is called on my Bid, but it's an acting um for blessing in disguise because you know, the book. I feel that if I didn't go to prison, I wouldn't have took the time to do that, you know, the right the book.

They caught me Ice and queens free, you know, free a son. But you you know, the whole thing was like, you know, I got a I caught it like a major drug traffic in charge or whatever, you know, and you know it was a big case. You know, it was a big case, a big situation, and I ended up you know, getting around most of the eight one felonies and everything like that. So you know, that's a

blessing in itself, you know what I'm saying. So you know, instead of just going in and doing nothing, I used you know, I used that and channel it into writing this book to deter younger kids to do the things I've done, you know what I mean. But me, me being yeah, me being through what I've been through. I just used examples from my life to you know, show that I'm credible to tell you not to do it.

You know a lot of kids, you know, like when a lawyer or adopt which they should respect, tell you not to do something because they came from your community, they just don't respect because they feel like you didn't live like we live. So now I'm telling you I did what you're doing and what you're trying to do, and I'm telling you don't do it. So you know I'm not gonna get a copy. Oh it's on Amazon right now, it's on Amazon. You know we're gonna stories

getting together, but I ain't gonna live. Let me cut you off. On one second, I thought this thing is like, yeah, I wrote a book. I thought this NIGG is gonna hand me like a bunch of papers. You can hand me a real book. I'm like, you got you know, you made a deal in jail like this NIGG is mad advance. No, but you know, Norman like been doing everything for me, you know, helping me bring me places places like this that you know, to get my word out. You know it's a good read, you know what I mean.

But my thing is, like I told me, I get it to the people. I like to see the feedback. You know, I want y'all to read it and you know, and give honest feedback or what it's about, because you know, I think it's a good read. I ain't really you do only let people in jail read it? So far, you know, you know, so I know, I appreciate that. I'm going to check that out. Man, Drunk Uncle, the album, Drink Champs, the podcast Drunk Uncle, the album Drink Camps,

the podcast You got one more question? Be there? I feel like you have one more. I'm gonna close out more. Come on, all right, you tweeted you hated brag rap. I understand what you meant about that too. It's not I hate brag rap. What I mean by that is it's it's a lot more substance that we can do. Like I was appalled that people love moments like I like because it's not the norm. Like, you know, you know, everything that's out is about yo, I got this made bag.

You know, sixteen juries, you know, fifteen different sneakers. Like some of the kids don't need that, you know. Some of the kids need inspiration, They need substance, they need they need more than just having seventeen rings like they you need a little bit more. And the thing about it is like I was the dude that said I'm sitting tired of rappers talking about all this chetta and when you see them in the streets, they gotta bullshit Jetta.

Because that was the truth. Like I was seeing people talking about ship that they that wasn't happening, and I feel like, whole uh whole jeezy Ross. They already covered that ground. So if you're coming out new, you should you should do something else, you should do something different. I've always been the guy like when people were rhyming on Havoc beats, I used Farrell. When people was rhyming on Farrell beats, I used Scott start like, I'm always

the guy to go to the left. It doesn't always work for me, but it's a chance, it's a chance that I'm willing to take to be different. Like like when I said what what, Like niggas in the studio was looking at me like what the No, no, no, that's a super a superar But what what that that that phrase started at the War report. You gotta remember, you know what I'm saying. I was like what what what? What? And I remember like track, I remember doing l A l A and they were raised my what what ams

off of that? Like I was started off what what and people were like yo, he too hype. And the thing about it was for me, how nas and how mob deep and how Capoe was acting didn't reflect what Queen's Bridge really was. What I mean by that is, and I'm from left Rack. Let's just be clear, because I kept saying Queen's Bridge. I don't want nobody to get it confused. But what I'm saying, what I mean by that is they were laid back, like if you like to this day nine and then prod of you

world up, world up in the order of them. And to me, that's not Queen's Bridge at all, Like that's a part of Queen's Bridge. But if you go to Queen's Bridge right now, this little niggering skateboards and soft balls at each other like this energy. I wanted to capture that part of it, you know what I'm saying. So I wanted so when you say brag rap sometimes like when I hear brag rap, it's just like sometimes it's just like it's just it's just it's not what

we I mean. Don't get me wrong. We should have every part of rap like this shouldn't be like y'all only listen to this type of rap like I listened to Celo Green, I listened to Young Thug, I listened to a little Wayne and then I'll listen to most I listened to Live Quality. You know what I'm saying, because I don't want to to to listen to only things that I like that that that that like in the gym, I'm gonna listen to m O P. I ain't been in the gym in a long time, but

you know what I'm saying. But I'd rather listen to m O P. You know what I'm saying. But um so, that's just that's just all. It's not It's not that I hate brag rap. It's just that I hate when that gets the forefront. You know what I'm saying. Like Kendrick is doing an excellent job and having substance, and I know a lot of people could take in Kendrick right now. A lot of people like bro Kendrick got the past. No, you don't like I mean he was saying like he got the like the green light, you

don't have the green light. He's making rap that people can actually relate to, and that should be celebrated as opposed to be You know, everybody's getting drugged up if you listen to rap, Yo, if you listen to rapping, you did everything these rappers are doing right now. You're going to be high as how everything is siss. Put it, put it in the cup. Put it in the cup. You know what I'm saying. And that and that's cool too, I get that. But that's a place in the time

for that. But every caress one said, why what you say? Because you attracted. So if that's what you're gonna do, a bunch of drug addess is gonna come to your show. So I'm I'm cautious. Like it's like I was downstairs just now. The dude came up to me. I can't get that's what I attracted, That's what I put out in this And I had to tell him. I said, listen, we're gonna stop this man. You're black. You need to put on some lotion on your hands. This naked hands horrible.

He looked like he was just punching powder. And he just came to me like I told him, listen, we're gonna get you some lotion. It's the first thing we're gonna do before yourselfie. But that's what I meant by that. Man. Yeah, so we're good. Thank you so much. I'll take that CBS picture now break Up podcasts U
