It was crazy. Those were the days, very limited square footage.

He wasn't always going to rappers luxurious homes and talking to them and we had a little boxy room right getting it done.

But that was a good conversation with charloatmye. I appreciate his honesty and candidness, you know what I'm saying so.

Yeah, absolutely, man, I appreciate that thought. He definitely came with his a game, let us say, to his insight. And it's amazing to see his growth. Man.

From day one with Raperador dot Com and the breakfast club growing at the same time, and you know, change his life, and you know it.

I think this was the redemption song, you know, Like, I think he appeased the critics and the folks that were not really feeling for the dogs. I think this EP is kind of what we wanted, you know, give us, give us more of that in the future.

I think he'll silence a lot of more of the critics.

Do you enjoyed that You enjoyed the additions to the to the project?

Yeah, absolutely, I definitely enjoyed it.

I think, like I said when we first offered our review of it, I said, like he didn't have one of those tusk and leather moments or over my dead body, and I felt like red Button kind of say, shaated what I was looking for. Of course him and j Cole going back and forth, and you know, not for nothing. I feel like the star of the album. Well, this EP was kind of like little Yachty in the overcast production team, like, I can't front the beats are really good.

You know we see the amazing stuff. Drake Cole and going on tour. Man, I thought that video was amazing. I saw you. I think I saw you write Hype Williams level. He explained that Hype Williams level.

Absolutely like they shot that in nineteen ninety seven or something. Man, Like, you know, need those big budgets like how you used to back in the day. I mean, I mean, I'm sure, what's the brother that did it?

Yeah, he did an incredible job with the green screens and whatnot. So it felt like a moment and I think it's probably one of the best music videos we've had this year.

Love the album now, it's a four point five mic album. My book of four mics or something. Man, getting up there, it's better. Now you got to make your own version. Now you gotta remix it.

I think that's always been like the biggest issue with Drake is as incredible as he is, I always felt like there's moments of needs to self at it, you know, And I think like.

This, this project right here is just it's a great addition to the cannon. Absolutely.

I mean, maybe he's creating a new genre for hip hop, you know, but but you know, honestly, it's not bad. You know, if that's your lane, go for it, you know. But at the same time, I definitely want new raps from Andre, Like, let's not get.

You think. Do you think he can still rap? You think he still got some bars somewhere.

The thing about Andre that pisses me off, and I've been saying this for years, is that he self.

Deprecates way too much. Right.

He acts like he has nothing to offer, And you know, he did a couple of interviews and saying, what am I supposed to rap about? You know, getting a colonosopy and my eyes going back?

Yeah, why not?

I think it's creative ways to talk about bad eyesight or something like that. But I think Andre the guy's nominated for a Grammy right now for Crying Out Loud off the Killer Mike album. So oh wow, it's right, yeah, science is yeah, yeah, okay, so right, so you know Andre is still Andre's part of one of the greatest rap groups of all time. Like you could still rap, but all the self deprecating and like he has something to offer.

You have you know other rappers that are in this age bracket like Nas, you have the Jac's kill a mic. You know, people are still rapping at a high level man, so and even big boys still doing his thing. So I can't I can't get jiggy with Andre's perspective at this moment, but hopefully he comes back and delivers the rap album that fans have been warning for years.

Speaking speaking of rap albums rap songs, man, it's almost that time of the year, the holiday season. That's when pett ruins everybody's Christmas. He puts out his list, he gets the rappers upset.

We still got some more weeks left, you know, until that time. The time is clicking, man, But yeah, we almost did. I've been doing inventory since January first, so.

You know, I think it'd be some surprise that inventory. Yes, you're taking notes like Santa Claus take a list. You got a list, You're making.

But you know, you know, during this holiday season, I hope that most of our loyal listeners and supporters go back and check out some of the previous episodes that we've had, I think had it. This has been a pretty tough season man.

You know, he went on NA watch things talked about, you know, the lack of music conversations. I think that was a nod to us of you know, how we did that with him, and you know, people should do more like Taler did with our conversation of like, you know, focus on the music and everything for the music and expand out.

But you know, so much there's so much gossipy foolery you know on.

The timeline right now, but you know, you don't say right some of it's some of it is super foul and everything.

But I think that the core of things is music journalism.

And I think that me and you do an exceptional job and that's the focus and that's the secret to rap rad off Man, and I think our episodes reflect that absolutely.

The Titlent episode is really good, it's really smart. I think that might be my favorite this season. It varies from day to day. Geechee Gotti was really good. I think I love them all, you know, but it's like asking, hey, what's your favorite finger?

All right? But private the middle, but I like I like.

That and mister big middle figure young boy. Man, that's still two point six million beat out. I know you don't love the numbers like that, but two point six million, man, I haven't seen a bigger review, most more viewed wrap interview of the year to me, I haven't seen it two point six ms.

I mean, that's nothing to sniff at, you know. But that was actually the last season too, wasn't it. No, it was this year though it was this year. Oh yeah, that count It still counts. But Utah, man, we went to utub and it was cold.
