Episode 66: Scrambled Egg-spectations

Nintendo went egg pun crazy to promote Yoshi’s New Island, but is the game worth all the egg-treme cleverness (sorry, we couldn’t resist)? We answer that very question in this episode of the Random Nintendo Podcast with full impressions of both Yoshi’s new 3DS adventure and the first game you can truly call a sitcom, Weapon Shop de Omasse. To start things off, however, we egg-amine (we’re on a roll here) all the latest news from last week’s Game Developers Conference and beyond, including a look at the latest indie game announcements, an analysis of the changing face of the video game industry, and a breakdown of February’s sales numbers. It all adds up to one egg-cellent episode (we can’t stop now).
