Episode 133: That’s The Spirit

What happens when a familiar gaming face goes to a new place? Phoenix Wright does it with a trip to the kingdom of Khura’in in Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice, and Mario does it with a jump to iOS with Super Mario Run – and we’re covering both in this episode of the Random Nintendo Podcast. The show first kicks off with a brief assessment of the ongoing wait for NX news, before we fully dive into Super Mario Run with a breakdown of what’s in store for iOS players and the game’s significance to Nintendo as a whole. From there, we shift to Pokemon, discussing upcoming improvements to Pokemon Go (Apple Watch support! The buddy system!) and the latest wave of franchise shake-ups in Pokemon Sun & Moon.
