(Transcribed by TurboScribe.ai. Go Unlimited to remove this message.) Take a deep breath in. Exhale through your mouth. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Breathe in and breathe out. Continue to breathe in this way, allowing yourself to settle into this space, into this moment in time, knowing that in this moment you are safe, you are okay, and all is well. There's nothing else to do right now but to breathe and be with your breath.
Allow everything else to be put to the side. It does not need to be tended to in this moment. What's most important right now is your well -being and taking care of yourself. When we feel overwhelmed, oftentimes it's because we feel there's so much to do and not enough time, and that we don't have the capability to accomplish all of the things. The truth is, there will always be things to do, but you don't have to do all of them. Take that in for a moment.
All of the things that you think you need to do, perhaps you don't actually need to do all of them. There is a way to structure your life, your time, your day, more efficiently, to prioritize the things that matter most, and to allow other things to fall away, or to designate them to someone else.
Your job is to recognize where the things in your life fall, which categories, which are the things that you need to do, which are the things that others can do, and which are the things that can fall away. This takes reflection and awareness on your part. Breathe, and recognize that there is more than enough time in the day for all the things that are most important. Continue to breathe in and out through your nose, enjoying this time of simply being with yourself, and not doing right now.
Feel your systems begin to slow down. Feel your breathing slow down, your heart rate, your blood pressure, all of the things that start to settle when you take time to pause. Feel a smile form on your face. Give thanks for this time that you gave to yourself, this time that is so precious and so important to your well-being. You do not have to get overwhelmed. You do not have to feel the constant anxiety.
You just need tools that work for you, that help bring you back to a state of presence and calm. This is one tool, and I encourage you to explore many others. Notice what helps you, what activities, what things, what places, what people bring you to a state of feeling calm, relaxed, and joyful. What foods, what drinks, what activities, what meditations, what music.
Allow yourself to explore the things that bring you joy, that bring you calm, and allow these to be the tools that help to reduce anxiety, stress, and overwhelm. Fill your life with things that bring you joy, and things that make you feel the way you want to feel. This is not to say that we should never feel stress, anxiety, or overwhelm, but they shouldn't be the constant in our lives. They shouldn't be taking up the majority of our time. Allow that to settle in.
Once again, acknowledge yourself for taking this time for you. Come back to this whenever you need it, and start to notice what other things bring you to a state of feeling well, calm, joyful, and at ease, feeling good in your body. Thank you for joining me, and have a beautiful day.
