Episode description
Parkinson’s disease affects each
person differently, but for many people, it results in speech difficulties.
Some sufferers become so quiet that they are almost inaudible. However, struggling
to speak doesn’t mean that they won’t be able to sing. In the city of
Southampton, every Tuesday afternoon, a group of people who are suffering from Parkinson’s
disease gather together, just to sing! It not only gives them an opportunity to
relax, but also to enjoy their social life.
