This week of Castranger, which falls on the 50th Anniversary of Super Sentai and the anniversary of Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger, which we totally timed on purpose, begins with us enjoying Shouma and Hanto's blooming bromance with the debut of Valen Frappe Custom, the graceful bowout of Tokonatsu aka Don Momotaro in Gozyuger, and beginning Akiba April, we discuss how our two nerds and one karate girl delude themselves into being the Super Sentai that parodies its own genre in a way that, to some, may tow the line between good and mean-spirited. Yes, we discussed Akibaranger before, but we're DOING IT AGAIN! Deal with it! Also, Ichi has a hot take about Daizyujin's desert cloak.
