It’s the stupidly overdue Wrecks Factor results! RA DA DADA DADA DA-DA DA DA… AFRO CIRCUS!
AAUK takes the theme of Platinum Games for the show this week, bringing ANARCHY REIGNS music to the air for the first time as well as celebrating other Platinum works. Everything from Bayonetta and VANQUISH to Infinite Space.
15What was a sweat box in the last show has now been replaced by rain, cold and flooding in Wales. That and AAUK is bamboozled by the logic behind licencing Danica Patrick for All-Stars Racing Transformed.
It’s damn hot outside – summer is here with a vengeance. AAUK though has thoughts of Overclocked Remix and their Sonic remix competition currently in progress. Check it out!
After some technical jiggery-pokery over at RadioSEGA, Radio Redux now seems to be broadcasting just about EVERYWHERE.
Summer of Sonic is heading to Brighton? Well that’s a pretty random one. AAUK finishes facepalming long enough to announce he’s tired of hearing about SOS and is just not even gonna talk about it. It’s an all music episode of Radio Redux coming right at your face, or your ears at least.
If Saturday Night SEGA can do a show of other video game music, then so can Radio Redux! Sit back as everything from Assassin’s Creed to Turrican and Zelda remixes gets an airing as AAUK picks a selection of awesome tunes.
SEGA doesn’t acknowledge hard work – but acknowledges no work? Okay, whatever.
Back after computer failure is Radio Redux just in time to cover the bad news about the SEGA job losses. AAUK takes time out to address this especially and why its bad news for you in the short and long term including how it could hit Summer of Sonic.
Series 7 of Radio Redux starts with a bang… of hardware failing. Oh dear.
It’s a festive farewell as Radio Redux reaches the last show of Season 6. AAUK and Dusk bid goodbye to 2011, and AAUK is more keen than most to be shot of it.
It has been on the cards for a while, but Hawk has flown the nest leaving the boys alone; how is AAUK coping after this? The pair also discusses their thoughts on Sonic Generations, Saints Row and Assassin’s Creed Revelations. Debates the issues of any Mario & Sonic 2014 and what’s happening for London Gaming Con 2011.
The Sonic Amateur Gaming Expo has come around again and Sonic Wrecks has been supporting it in whatever way it can. Blake and AAUK muse on what’s caught their eye.
The Barrel Roll Show (#147) After internet issues last week, the boys are back to discuss Bono not being a girl, sausages, drinks made of kittens and not thinking Cash Cash is ‘all that’, amongst other things. AAUK also reveals an interesting new super power: controlling the sleeping habits SEGA composers.
With Sonic CD out of the bag and a lot more besides to cover, AAUK and Blake discuss Gamescom, having random Japanese guests, potential poison plots, Operation Portsmouth and Sonic Generations dance moves.
Following the nasty events in London that were seen all over the world, the Sonic Wrecks team give their own perspective on what’s occurred. But what’s Bob Geldof going to do about it all?
With both his co-hosts and, apparently, every other radio show on both stations having better things to do, AAUK is at least here. That said he’s had just about enough of all this and is “cheesed off with the whole thing”. Instead planning to slip quietly into the background and do a bit less on Sonic Wrecks. For now though its time to discuss username algebra, buying a 3DS, games you ‘have’ to own, Terminators and Twitter.
After a surprise meet-up for Sofia, dubbed the Summer Of Sofia the time has come for our South American guest to go home. Sofia/Suf tells of her experiences and the team answers your questions. Then there’s a Jet The Hawk vs Jet The Hawk confrontation.
For the first time ever, all four members of the original Sonic Wrecks staff are in one place at one time as Sofia (Suf) has come over from Uruguay to visit – and to glomp Blake of course. The team discuss their activities as well as the latest in developments from SEGA post-SOS.
Back after a break to concentrate on his pre-convention work, it’s now less than a week until Summer Of Sonic 2011 and AAUK literally cannot wait for it to be over and done with so he can draw a line on his activities ‘in association’ with SEGA. But before a sense of closure and peace can finally descend we’ve a show to do talking about all that which is going on – amongst other things.
AAUK and Dusk are back from an impromptu trip to Manchester to be part of a special event following AAUK winning a contest. Unfortunately things didn’t turn out so well.
Despite being one of those who was at the MCM Expo, AAUK is here to cover everyone else so Sunday isn’t a complete blank on shows.
It’s the end of the world as we know it and the Radio Redux crew feel fine. Apparently it was going to be The Rapture because someone in America said it would be – turns out, erm, no it wasn’t. Macho Man Randy Savage died though so we are somewhat sad. ELIZABETH!
Yo back up now and give the crew some room, Radio Redux is here and they are gonna talk BOOM! Sonic Boom that is. Echo has torn Blake’s jeans, Ram cosplays as a 4Kids agent and AAUK discusses bad dreams and Summer Of Sonic.
After last week’s microphone issues AAUK has a shiny new toy in the form of a proper podcasting microphone, he and the Dusk discuss face transplants, Dreadknux Vs Scrooge McDuck, harmonicas, promotion and run down the latest news.
The team return from their Easter break full of chocolate and disdain – but what has caused them to be all angry with Disney? That and the latest on Sonic Generations, Mario & Sonic London and Summer Of Sonic.
AAUK, Dusk and a guest host are here with talk on potatoes, dubious reasoning, the latest in Sonic discussion all in the name of science… you monster.
SEGA have launched a brand new teaser trailer which may or may not be for Sonic Generations. AAUK and Echo discuss this, the subsequent community reaction and the curious way it was done. Along with political discussions about Iceland. No really.
It’s the night of “The Showcase of the Immortals” and AAUK and Dusk are in the mood to suplex rumour, DDT discussion and hit boredom upside the head with a BAH GAWD STEEL CHAIR. Taking on the role of bookers, the pair discuss a possible SEGA-mania card. Who would face who? Who would go over as the victor and what would happen next.
Season 6 has begun! AAUK has left SEGA. Dusk isn’t a Mexican master puppeteer. Echo Hawk is a sleeper agent, and half of a random SEGA man’s signature makes merchandise valuable. It’s a crazy world we live in!
