European Lab forum 6e édition Europe de la culture : année zéro 4 — 8 mai 2016 La culture n’a pas d’avenir, elle a un futur ! Trois auteurs de science-fiction affrontent leurs visions de l’art et de la culture en 2040 dans un battle rythmé et barré, où les armes autorisées sont des mots, des idées, des images et des sons. Une heure joueuse et joyeuse pour penser et projeter les azimuts possibles de l’action culturelle. Prospective crédible et fictions fantasques, anticipations solides et futurologie folle, le collectif Zanzibar tente à sa manière de désincarcérer le futur. Son credo ? Faire la nique au destin triste et hype des lendemains qui cliquent et nous filent la « Google de bois » pour proposer des trouées qui fassent appel d’art dans nos crânes ! Three science-fiction authors face off against each other, armed with their visions for art and culture in the year 2040, for a dynamic and barmy battle where the weapons of choice will be words, ideas, images and sounds. This will be one exuberant hour of cultural action, with the controls firmly set for the heart of the fun. From credible predictions to fantastical fiction, from sound prognoses to funky futurology, the Zanzibar Collective will attempt, in its own inimitable way, to unlock the secrets of the future. So what’s the credo? Go cold turkey on Google, Amazon and the social media, and instead to flush out your pipes with a burst of good old-fashioned art, to purify the senses and fuel the brain! There will be utopias to share and dystopias to flee; alternative solutions and new cultural practices; emancipatory technologies turning the artist-audience relationship on its head; probable predictions and fantastical forecasts concerning the fields of cinema, video games, literature and live shows; the emergence of the new and the reinvention of the old.
