Nick Cogger - Better Beer

This week, Better Beer as we speak with the person behind that brand, Nick Cogger.

Better Beer has become something of a Piñata for craft beer drinkers, particularly since its top 10 finish in this years’ GABS Hottest 100 Craft Beers, for a beer that doesn’t fit more traditional definitions of craft.

But even in his mid 30s Nick is no newcomer to the world of beer, with almost two decades in the industry already. As you’ll hear, Nick discovered the world of brewing when his father set up a Brew for U when Nick was just 16.

In this conversation we learn a lot about the industry through the prism of what Nick has learned through what he calls his ‘unsuccessful businesses’ that have led him to the juggernaut that is Better Beer, launched with The Inspired Unemployed and also craft accelerator Might Craft. We'll also learn why The Inspired Unemployed aren’t influencers, they are creators…and there is a meaningful difference.
