E1: “Here there’s still gold” - The Entrepreneurs of Saigon

In my first day alone in Vietnam's capital of Saigon (now called Ho Chi Minh City), I stumble upon a group of westerners who are launching startups in Vietnam. Why build a business in Saigon, of all places? Because the way they see it, the economic situation of Vietnam offers the best possible chance of getting rich.

In this episode, I try to understand what it might be like to live and build a company in a developing country thousands of miles from home.
