Rishi Persad and Sam Turner review a jam packed weekend of racing from the Epsom Derby Festival as we saw Richard Kingscote steer Desert Crown to a brilliant performance in the Derby. We had Rob Hornby in the studio last week who gave Westover a valiant ride in third who now has the Irish Derby in their sights.
In the Oaks, Tuesday edged out favourite Emily Upjohn in a head-bobbing finish on Friday after a compelling race in which the first stride proved to be as significant as the last.
The Coronation Cup was won this year by Hukum which provided Owen Burrows with a breakthrough Group 1 victory.
