Rishi Persad and Sam Turner are joined by Irish racing expert Johnny Ward to preview the jumps schedule on both sides of the Irish Sea.

We begin by reflecting on the retirement of jockey Davy Russell who made the announcement following his win on Liberty Dance at Thurles on Sunday. That was his 1,579th and final win of his career spanning 23 years. Happy retirement, Davy!

In our Christmas racing preview we start at Kempton and the King George Chase with L’Homme Presse now battling Bravemansgame for favouritism. Later we hop to Leopardstown for four days of great racing and we end by mentioning the Welsh Grand National on the 27th December.
