Alex from The Big Smoke joins Jacq and Dene to talk about a new social media trend on Facebook and Instagram for the desperate and dateless.

This is the dating trend that’s starting 2018 terribly. Simply put, fauxbaeing is the act of pretending to have a significant other over social media when you’re actually single. 19% of single men have witnessed someone pretend to have a significant other over social media when they were actually single. Alex looks into this new trend and how it coincides with another depressing dating trend, ‘cricketing’.
