For the first time we have someone from the southeast region of NASA's Honda Challenge region. This region Is known for having many S2000's racing in H1 and H2. Stephen Pearce has many regional championships and is a consistent driver for this region. For a bit we try and see who loved to be more cost effective him or me. Victor is well known in the 8thgen Civic world for being one the few who tracked an 8th gen civic with an R18 engine. He has done what I constantly tell other to do which is build up to the limit of your car. He has gone through a couple K series engines and has a lot of experience with the chassis. I enjoyed talking to him and look FWD to having him on again to talk about 8th Gen civic things.

On this episode we have on Dane Byrd the 2021 Texas regional champion, and now the 2022 H2 3rd place Finisher. Dane is great driver and was super happy to meet him and all the peeps from the Honda Challenge Texas region. Honestly really enjoyed meeting Dane he is a good guy and if you are in the Texas region and want to track look for this driver. Dane is also looking like he will win the 2022 Reginal championship also.

I talk with one of the series more notable drivers Michael Smith driver of the 395 Honda fit fresh from his win at lime rock. We talk about why the fit is a better started track day car than the Miata, and many of the quirks and advantages of the fit.
Jonathan Baker driver of the number 32 H2 integra is a well-known driver in the Mid Atlantic. He has the most podiums of any current racer in the Mid-Atlantic region (He has been doing for a lot longer than most). He is currently my choice to battle for the first-place position at nationals this September. We talk about the competition for nationals, why he chose Honda Challenge and the only other car he raced at pro level. I'm looking forward to seeing him race in person.
