Tragic Incidents and Controversies Impacting Youth

Speaker 1

This is the Everyday Podcast for the Everyday People . Guys , welcome back to another unique episode of RED . It's the Everyday Podcast for the Everyday People and I just wanted to say to you guys I am so grateful and thankful for all of the comments I've been getting in connection with this show .

Just last week , I had 8.3 thousand to tune into my YouTube channel and I just wanted you guys to know that 20 new subscribers . You are family , you guys are loved , you guys are cherished and I am so happy and thrilled to be here with you . There were two comments that I wanted to give a shout out to .

The first one is DeWon Little 8169 that was left on my YouTube short . He says I love your Vids very informative . Well , I appreciate that , dewon Little . I love doing this for you guys . I started this channel because of my brother . My younger brother was killed a couple of years ago and I decided to do this channel in connection with his honor .

There was also another comment that I received on TikTok from IzzyGottemRunning and he made mention that there was this story that I covered and he lost this person that he knew . This person was like a brother to him and he reached out to me and I asked him is anyone checking on him ? And he said no , no one really follows up with him .

And I thought that was just tragic , because today people don't care like they should . It's not easy to deal with circumstances that are changing so rapid and so fast and sometimes when you lose someone in death , people just don't know what to say . But not saying anything doesn't do good for you or the person that's been affected .

Now this is a particular story that we're getting into , our first story . It's a gruesome lineup . This week Some of these stories had me scratching my head as to just the imagination and the mindset that goes into young people . Today .

Here's our first story Student 15 killed by a younger peer and caught on camera a brawl at North Carolina High School , riley , north Carolina . A 15 year old student was fatally knifed by a 14 year old classmate on Monday during a wild caught on camera brawl inside a North Carolina High School .

The melee inside the gym at Southeast Riley High School also landed a second student , 16 , in the hospital with non-life threatening stab wound . According to local reports , both victims were transported to an area hospital . Riley Police Chief Oceala Patterson said during a press conference . Sadly , one victim succumbed to his injuries .

This is a very unfortunate incident that has occurred today . She added One that is very disturbing to us . The teen accused of stabbing two of his peers was arrested and charged with murder on a juvenile petition . In the video , as you can see , is indeed gruesome .

The thing that I found to be of extreme interest in this story was Charelle McLaughlin mom was mentioning that her son , who was the alleged stabber , was only defending himself . There is controversy and connection with this story about whether the boy is justified . Some have said he's been bullied in the past .

Others have said it was a matter of gang violence and activity . Where my concern lies , as the host of this show , is that who wins in a scenario like that , whether it was self-defense , whether it was gang related or even if he was being bullied , this man is now being charged with the murder of someone's life .

This young boy is being charged now with the murder of someone's life . The saddest thing that can come upon a young person is them losing their life , not to death entirely , but losing their life in connection with their future , their goals , their aspirations .

What I'm coming to realize is that a lot of young people today don't have goals , and because they don't have goals , it's easy for them to fall into circumstances such as this . Well , we wish you guys all the best there in North Carolina , and to the victims , families of this young man that was murdered . You have our heartfelt condolences .

It is tragic to be able to see and just witness some of the things that young people are doing today . Young people are continuing to face pressures like never before . I understand that it's inevitable . The way life is set up . Today , young people are going to go through trials , and this following story , though , you'll find it indeed shocking .

Young athlete 11 grabbed gun from his mom's car before shooting teammates . Shocking surveillance footage caught the moment an 11-year-old grabbed a gun from his mother's vehicle and fired on his teammates after they reportedly took his bag of chips .

The video released by Police Tuesday night appears to show the alleged shooter being chased by one of his teammates following a youth football practice at a park in Apopka , florida , monday night . The young boy then races to a vehicle in the parking lot and grabs a gun from the passenger side seat .

Apopka police chief , mike McKinley , said the firearm was unsecured inside the vehicle . He then walks over to the sidewalk and fires a single shot at another boy who was walking away with his bag turned .

Moments later , a woman believed to be his mother can be seen grabbing the firearm from the kid's grasp before holding his hands behind his back and apparently reprimanding him in front of their vehicle as others tried to flee . The single shot struck one 13-year-old and the torso , while another was struck in the arm . My son got shot . It hit his back .

A frantic woman told a dispatcher in a 911 call released by Apopka police Tuesday night , noting the shooting had occurred just 5-10 minutes earlier . One of the victims was released from a local hospital Monday night , while the other is listed in stable condition . They are both expected to survive .

The 11-year-old has since been arrested and charged with one account of attempted second degree murder . The sources also mention his mother could also face charges for leaving the gun unsecured . Potato chips You're telling me that this 11-year-old decided to take it upon himself to assault two individuals over a bag of potato chips .

The mindset of young people today is of concern . They're angry , frustrated . Statistics have shown that the generation alpha , the generation z , don't have the training they need and the resources to live effective , responsible lives as human beings . As adults , they respond to trials with haste and rash and in literally engine circumstances like this .

This 11-year-old boy is facing a life of unprecedented circumstances , all because of his mother and the circumstances that developed .

True , we can't entirely blame mom , because this 11-year-old boy knows right from wrong , he has free will , but it just causes you to think what could this 11-year-old have been subjected to for him to feel so angry , to the point of needing to relieve himself in that violent and physical way ?

When this next story came to my desk , I'm thinking to myself okay , it's a positive outcome in unlikely circumstances . Now , true , was the coach dead wrong ? Kind of so I would say yes , but parents didn't see it that way . High school football coach fired for holding baptism service for 20 of his players after a practice . They're focusing on religious coercion .

A Georgia high school football coach was fired after he held a baptism service for 20 of his players on school grounds . Last month , according to a report , the superintendent of Tatnall County High School announced coach Isaac Pharrell's firing after a video uploaded to the team's official Facebook page showed players being baptized in a tub by a local pastor .

Footage shows pastor Gary Few directing players individually to sit in a large black tub of water before saying to them I baptize you now , my brother , in the name of the father , the son and the Holy Spirit . The pastor then ducks their head under the water while surrounding players cheer and support .

The October 23 incident outraged some community members , eventually leading one to inform a group called the Freedom From Religion Foundation . The Foundation proclaims itself as a state , church or watchdog promoting the constitutional principle of separation of state and church .

According to their website , they claim Pharrell was in the act of abusing his position and committed a constitutional violation . An article on their website reads Now , the interesting thing about this story is the reaction from the parents . It's interesting that parents did not have an issue with this , but the district took matters into their own hand .

The district must refrain from infusing its football program with religion , and coach Pharrell cannot be allowed to preach to student athletes or allow a local pastor to preach to and baptize students . The superintendent , however , claimed Pharrell's firing stemmed from an isolated situation after a November 3 football game and not the baptism .

Based on the outcome of an investigation into an incident that occurred Friday night , november 3 , while traveling after the football game , the district decided that it would seek a head football coach that aligned with the best interests of the students . So here we have a great case of we're going to fire them on one thing and then say something else .

What are the odds that they fired this coach because of a November 3 incident versus the baptism ? The district goes on to say . As to any other allegations , the district does not comment during ongoing investigations .

Pharrell , who also teaches at the school , is still able to keep his job at Tattano County , but an investigation into the baptism service is still underway

Issues in Education and Youth Safety

. Waters said Some parents on the team stuck up for Pharrell , a former Georgia Southern football player , and commended him for baptizing their sons . One parent said she was extremely proud of her son , saying it was what her child wanted to do . This coach is changing lives , not just winning games .

One of the commentators said Well , it's unfortunate that even when you're trying to do things with the right motive , it can be misconstrued and taken out of contact . I'm not sure as to what made the coach think that his football team needed to be saved , but at least it wasn't something on the heinous side .

At least the man had his heart in the right place and we wish you guys all the best down there in Georgia . Here's the follow up . Going back to middle schools and the violence that's just escalating . Middle school students are at that tender age where it can be a make or break situation .

If parents aren't doing their personal part to make their child feel loved and cared about , then you're going to constantly have friction and immocity and a lack of respect in the school systems . Middletown High School closed Friday after student brawl .

A fight among students at Middletown High School on Thursday afternoon resulted in district administration announcing classes in grades 9 through 12 having canceled on Friday . What prompted the fighting was not immediately known . Superintended of schools , amy Creedon , said Thursday's incident did not include any weapons .

There was no stabbing on campus and no one left the high school by ambulance . Today's incident was a physical altercation between high school young people . She said in a letter to the community . The high school would be closed out of an abundance of caution and to enable our teams to unpack what took place at the high school , creedon said .

She said the majority of the students in the high school are incredible members of our school community and role models to their peers . She said anyone looking for support as a result of the hold in place and incident at the high school , can call the school to be linked to available services at 845-326-1600 .

Again , we constantly see the desire of young people to engage in rage and battle and to be angry and frustrated with one another . There is so much potential , so many opportunities that young people have today if they would put themselves out there .

But if they're going to continue to result to these methods of operation and make these choices that are going to produce these sour results , then it's not going to benefit them in the long run .

And I think that's where so many young ones are fighting themselves , struggling today , trying to find that balance between doing something that they want , the peer pressure and the lack of stability in the home environment . So young people today have these opportunities and they have these disadvantages thrown before them that I never had to deal with growing up .

I say opportunity because there's more opportunities to do wrong today than there was under the circumstances that I was growing up . You had more extra-corrected activities , you had more stability in certain areas of life that they just don't have today .

In this next story you can really see us to the challenges that young people have to deal with because of the example set by their parents . Parents charged after shooting in elementary school parking lot . Monroe County State police have filed charges against the parents of a three-year-old involved in a shooting at a Monroe County school parking lot .

According to Pennsylvania State Police , on October the 5th a reported accidental shooting took place in the parking lot of middle Smithfield Elementary School . Police say Anna Karen De Los Santos arrived at the school to pick up one of her children and parked her vehicle in the parking lot of the school .

De Los Santos left the car , leaving her 11-year-old and three-year-old children unattended . Underneath the front passenger seat was a loaded 9mm Glock handgun which had been stored in an unlocked case and inadvertently left by the father of the children , winslow Jimenez Zabala .

According to state police , while unattended , trooper stated the three-year-old unlatched his car seat and began to move freely around the vehicle . He removed the loaded handgun from the case and pulled the trigger , firing a single round within the car . Psb said the round traveled under the rear passenger seat and no one was struck or injured .

Both parents have been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangering another person . De Los Santos faces the additional charge of possession of a firearm prohibited on school property . The circumstances surrounding this particular story , easy things that could have been prevented .

Let's just say hypothetically that the three-year-old accidentally shot the gun and it killed the 11-year-old . I don't know how you are able to even deal with a story like that , because naturally you will conclude that they can't try a three-year-old from murder in unique circumstances . I guess there would be some type of justice involved in this .

But the saddest part about it is this was brought about because of negligence . Often times parents don't realize and this was a major situation , they really don't realize just how much influence they have in their kids' lives . Some parents have that method do as I say , not as I do . Those things aren't going to work on young people today .

You have to really be active and try your best to help your child feel loved and very soon , little by little , they will feel loved . Very , very difficult story there . Here's our follow-up . Mother says her son was sexually assaulted inside a Henry County middle school classroom .

So if you're not dealing with the lack of parental guidance and some instances , you're dealing with sexual harassment . This is Hampton , georgia . A Henry County mother says her son was sexually assaulted at school . Now she wants the school to punish the students involved . She says three boys pulled down her son's pants and exposed him to other classmates .

Now the interesting thing about this story is he's in seventh grade , he's 12 , and in front of a group of kids that's his private part said the victim's mother , cabrisha Osborn . Anytime Osborn thinks about it , she breaks down . That's like you dehumanized him , osborn said .

Osborn says on October the 12th , three boys sexually assaulted her 12-year-old son at Hampton Middle School . He said that his pants and underwear were pulled down , osborn said . Osborn says she immediately spoke with school administrators . Next , she says she filed a police report .

She tells Washington the three boys she says were involved remain at the school while her son learns from home . In a statement a district representative wrote in part we are aware of an incident between students that is currently being investigated by district staffed .

The sad part about this story is they continue to make mention that the school district did not release the names of other students because obviously they are minors . The investigation into the incident is ongoing . The saddest part about this particular story is one of pure simplicity .

When I was growing up , my mother told me don't touch anybody , don't look at anybody , don't even breathe on your peers . Today , parents don't have that kind of wisdom to pass on or they think everything is a joke . Some parents , some parent it's not a joke . When I was in school and things are one way we would do little practical jokes on one another .

That was a different time . Today , if you touch anything of anyone's private parts , anyone's pants , underwear , call yourself , giving them a wedgie , even coughing in their face , is a form of assault , sexual harassment , and it's just something that young people have got to understand .

They may have thought this was harmless , fun and they may have thought that he enjoyed it , but the other thing that matters is this particular young man did not . Maybe it wasn't him that had an issue , maybe it was his mom when we went home and told her . Maybe it was the both of them .

But in any event , you guys have to make wiser choices when it comes to dealing With your peers in school . You have to make wiser choices and how somebody may might reason why ? Listen to him . He's just a random guy on the internet , just some youtuber . But the care is there , the concern is there .

A Young people today need to realize that if they're not careful , one wrong decision can cost you your life , and this system is not going to go easy on you . And the next story a notice some of the other dangers that young people are facing . New York man charged in trespass that sent Ambridge area high school into lockdown . This is an Ambridge , pa .

Ambridge area high school was placed on lockdown Friday after an 18 year old Allegedly trespassed . The suspect is accused of using false Last name to gain entry to the school to have lunch with his 15 year old sister . Several parents told Pittsburgh's action news for that when someone enters the school , they have to go through security and sign in .

According to court documents , 18 year old Anthony Moscow from New York did sign but used a false last name and was given a pass . Make sure that my child is safe when she comes through that door .

Charlene Johnson said that Charlene Johnson's request always , but specifically Friday night after she learned from her daughter , who was a student , that a non-student was allowed inside .

According to court documents , around noon police were informed by school staff that an 18 year old , later identified as Moscow , enter the school , had lunch with his 15 year old sister and then attempted to take her out of school . The school was placed on lockdown , police said .

Surveillance footage shows Moscow in the security area with a group of students when police say he signed in under different last name and was given a pass . Police noted in the criminal complaint that , before Confirming Moscow had signed in , a propped up open door was found during the investigation .

So someone let a man , it seems or there was a propped open door that maybe he was trying to allow his friends in into the building .

Update Correction

The story is continuing to be updated , so there is an update correction in connection with this story . A previous version of this story listed Moscow's age as 25 . Now the thing that's of concern to me is how would the security guard know that the name is false ? When someone comes to visit , you don't know them . Now .

Generally , I Can understand that because you're supposed to show ID when you go into the building . You're supposed to show , show your ID and sign in . So if he didn't do that , then there is a very , very , very , very good cause for concern regarding the security guard . We wish you guys all the best . And Thankfully no one was hurt .

It seems he was going to see his sister , but stranger things have happened in scenarios that seem to be straightforward . When I was growing up I Would never have thought to do some of the things students do today in this follow-up story . Notice the amount of courage this student has to do this with his teacher .

Student assaults teacher an incident caught on video at Long Beach's Millican High School , long Beach , california . An investigation was continuing Thursday until the assault of a teacher by a student at Millican High School , an attack that was caught on cell phone video . Officials said the attack took place Wednesday .

In the names of neither the student nor the teacher were released by the Long Beach Unified School District . A spokeswoman for the Long Beach Unified School District , alvia Kano Kano , would not say what may have Per precipitated the attack , but the assault was being investigated by the district . She also said the student was not arrested .

The investigation could lead to a suspension or expulsion of the student . Official said the melee was broken up by other students in the class , according to Millican High School's principal , alejandro Vega . Who Vega , who thanked the students for intervening .

Vega also sent out an email to the parents of students at Millican in which he generally explained the situation , but did not reveal the names of the involved party , citing confidentiality restrictions . Vega then sent out a follow-up message to Millican families on Thursday .

The end of video , you can be able to see as to how much this teacher and student are putting into these forceful blows .

I'm not sure as to what the circumstances is , but if they are going to take this further in connection with pressing charges with this student , then it could be that they will try to pin this on the student and say that he shouldn't assault a teacher .

And the sad thing about it is , because of the environment we live in today , you can't really say who who was in the right and who was in the wrong .

It could have been the teacher , it could have been the student , it could have been the teacher that hit the student first , because I've covered all sorts of stories on this platform and that's one of the things that I find to be particularly of interest that sometimes it's the teachers who initiate these problems , and it's very , very Unfortunate .

The people that supposed to care about you , love you , guide you , instruct you , are the ones that are causing you hardship and negativity . This is the first story , our next one on this podcast , in which I followed up with it three straight weeks in a row In a row . You guys recall the story of Jonathan Lewis Jr .

He was the high school kid that was jumped and beat by about 10 of his peers . From the ages of 13 through 17 . They've been busy in Las Vegas making arrest on persons involved . Ninth suspect arrested and teen beating , death of high school student . The four teens accused of murdering a Rancho high school student appeared in court on Tuesday morning .

State prosecutors and defense attorneys for the teens agreed to return the suspects to juvenile custody , though their case will proceed in the adult system . All four of the teens are facing murder charges and the death of Jonathan Lewis Jr and are being held without bail .

18s were taken into custody in connection to Lewis death earlier this month and his this new arrest makes nine . A Hearing will be held later this month to determine if the five remaining teens in custody will also be tried as adults it's . I can't even begin to express how devastating this is .

When you look at the the faces of these young persons , the anger that you see in them . They literally have messed their lives up .

They're going to jail because of rage and violence , and the saddest thing about the scenario is one literally has to beg and ask the question when are the parents , where are the persons that that that are supposed to love you and to guide you in life and to carry you guys listen . Violence , it's never the proper way to handle a circumstance .

It only breathes and breathes more violence . There's a song that I really , really like war . What is it good for ? Absolutely Nothing . Sing it to me war . A war can't give life , it can only take it away , and I love that song because it's a plain , clear in your face truth . You guys will never be able to get peace through violence .

And look at your lives now as a result . The fight took place in an alleyway near Owens Avenue in Bruce Street . After school let out on November the 1st , lewis was found in the alley unconscious and bleeding from the head .

Lvmpd Lieutenant Joe Hanson said on November the 7th , police were notified that the teen was taken off life support and his organs would be donated . An autopsy would determine that Lewis died as a result of blunt force trauma and his death would be ruled a homicide . It's one of the most devastating stories that I've ever had to cover .

I just grew some beating that they gave a Jonathan Lewis the junior , the second , and I want to express to the family how sorry I am , how devastating it is when you have to bury your loved one and coat with the challenges because of someone else's lack of doing their part .

We love you guys and we wish you guys all the best for those of you who are students that knew Jonathan . Please , guys , hang in there , do not give up . I know it hurts you guys . I know the pain is strong , but if you keep enduring you'll see things start to get better .

Oftentimes in the school area there is crossing guard activity that needs to take place . Some school districts can't afford to have crossing guards or there's a shortage . In this next story we realize just how devastating that need is and what that shortage has led to . Georgia's County Police identified two kids killed in collision while walking to school .

Prince George's County , maryland . Prince George's County Police Department released the names of the two elementary school students who were killed in a fatal collision near the school Monday . Prince George's County Police Chief Malik Aziz said that the children who died are Shalom Mimba , 10 , and Skysosa , 5 , both of whom are walking to Riverdale Elementary School .

They were struck , along with a man , around 8am in the crosswalk at the corner of Riverdale and Taylor Roads by a van driven by an unidentified woman . Police said the woman was traveling south on Taylor Road when she turned left on Riverdale Road and that's when she hit the three people .

The man walking with the children has not been identified but did not suffer life-threatening injuries . The Chief said the woman driving the van remained at the scene . Anjali Jimenez and her daughter had just crossed the street minutes before the accident on Monday .

She goes on to say how afraid she was that it was so close to this devastation , that she was so close to this devastation . The man has later learned her daughter and Sosa , the 5-year-old victim , were classmates . The woman who was driving the vehicle has been cooperating . No charges have been brought upon her at this time , but people are devastated .

To the families who lost this 10-year-old in 5-year-old Shalom , mimba and Skysosa , you have our dearest and deepest condolences . The tragedy of losing a child and death is severe . It's one of the things that I can't help but say I'm frustrated about , because people today don't realize just how bad their speeding is .

Their driving is in connection with certain things . Now , yes , this could have been an accident . We're not ruling that out . We're not blaming this unidentified woman , but it's unfortunate . There are many cases in which people demonstrate road rage . They go out there . They drive recklessly and innocent people pay the price .

We wish you guys all the best in Prince George's County , maryland , as you try to contend with this devastating loss . Here's our follow-up story . Marysville Middle School students faced racial intimidation even before fight . According to the parents , this is Marysville , michigan . Racism continues to escalate around the country .

Now , with certain political statements such as black lives matters and things of that nature , people are starting to really show their true colors in regards to how they feel about their fellow human , and one thing I want to say is that it's sad and it definitely creeps into the school environment .

Sometimes it comes into the school environment by means of the adults . Sometimes it comes into that school environment because of peers and entertainment , these influencers . They have these abilities , they have these followers , they have this community and they don't always use these things the wisest way .

Students of two students at Marysville Middle School say their children have been subjected to racial intimidation and that escalated to a fight this month . According to the parents , the two students were reportedly suspended after getting into a fight on November 10th with another student who allegedly made threats and used racial slurs .

The student accused of slurs reportedly threatened to bring KKK family members to school to harm black students . Marysville Public School Superintendent Sean Wickman confirmed this week that the district is actively investigating the use of racial slurs and alleged threats of violence .

It was unknown how long the students were suspended for and if the student's accused of threatening violence was also suspended . District officials say they can't share more specific information regarding what disciplinary action was taken for the students involved in the fight . The incident and the alleged ongoing problems is causing concern among parents in the community .

It's been 10 days since the incident occurred and little information has been shared from the district . It doesn't make sense why it isn't being handled immediately , said parent Gary Lockers . If we don't stand up for injustice , injustice will breed more injustice .

The district says it's continuing to investigate the situation in hopes of reaching a fair and just solution . I know that racism is just an ugly , nasty , disgusting thing to condemn with . The school district needs to be aware of what's going on with the entire student body . The district is trying to protect students from racial slurs and other things .

Challenges and Incidents in Schools

Our next story is about the middle school teachers and staff dealing with their challenges . Tennessee middle school administrators reassigned after allegedly showing up to a school basketball game drunk .

Several middle school administrators in the Clarksville , montgomery County school system have been reassigned after allegedly showing up to a school basketball game under the influence , according to a letter to families from Chief Academic Officer , dr Shonda Dowty .

In the letter , dowty explains the principal and three assistant principals have been removed from New Providence Middle School after an event at a basketball game on November 9 . It's alleged that the administrators who showed up late to the game consumed alcohol or were under the influence of alcohol .

During the investigation , the school's system decided to remove the administrators based on evidence and witness statements . The administrators were identified as Principal Richard Frost and Assistant Principals Megan Grone , kelly Lorton and Taylor Macy . The principal and three assistant principal positions will be posted this week .

The school system said it will be working to hire a new leader for New Providence . The interesting thing about this story is they didn't lose their jobs , according to a variety of sources , or rather they just got demoted . So instead of holding their current positions , the article goes on to say that they were reassigned .

Now some people may feel as though they should have other disciplinary measures taken , because what if they would have went into that school and did something in their alcoholic state or in their state of drunkenness .

According to the letters of reprimand the administrators received , a one-day suspension was recommended for each person and to be reassigned to a certified teaching position for which they are qualified and licensed , effective December 1st .

So it seems that in Nashville , tennessee , when teachers misbehave , they leave their current positions and they reassign them in another fashion in the school . Parents obviously are not going to be happy with that . I know personally if I had children well , currently I have two imaginary kids , riley and Jordan .

But if I did have living , breathing kids and I found out that something like this went on at their school , I would definitely have a huge problem with that because it can be perceived I'm not saying that it is , but it can be perceived as irresponsibility , acceptance , negligence , and it can be looked at as a form of support .

So the children's safety is the number one priority . That's what it should be in these scenarios . Here is another follow-up in connection with some of the challenges that students have to deal with that lead right into what parents have to deal with . Mother alleges sexual harassment at Schroder High School . This is Cincinnati .

The mother of a Cincinnati public school student said she's taking her daughter out of Schroder High School after she was told her daughter was sexually harassed by an employee . The mother said she found out about the incident after she received a call from a school official earlier this week . She also met with school officials .

The school official begins to explain that my daughter has been sexually harassed by security . She said I said what . I'm in shock , you know . She said the school employee was accused of sending inappropriate text messages to her daughter's phone . He's also accused of asking her to perform a sex act , oral sex , heart emojis and other things .

The mother said , asking what class she's in and this was in the middle of the day , you shouldn't be texting her at all . And heart emojis this that's unacceptable . She said the school official told her that the accused employee asked her daughter to perform a sex act for him while she was on her way to class .

Her daughter told friends shortly after this happened , who reported the incident to school officials . I'm very grateful and thankful that her friends went to a teacher , because there's no telling where it could have led , the mother said . She said she's afraid her daughter may face retaliation if she returns to school , so she's taking her out of class for now .

Now the school employee isn't being named because he hasn't been charged yet , but it's unsettling this , this young girl here having to deal with such a gruesome circumstance , it's just shocking . It's shocking that students have to deal with this each and every day . There are so many accounts of this happening .

But , parents , you have to be aware If you stay vigilant , if you stay diligent , then I know that your child will be able to make it another day in this wicked world that we call home . Now , bringing this back to my home state , our follow-up story here , new Jersey so I thought , was a quiet kind of community state , as it were .

There's nothing going on here , it's the garden state , but there's . There's a lot that's been going on in New Jersey this particular month of November . New Jersey gym teacher allegedly sexually assaulted her student over four years . A New Jersey gym teacher was jailed after a former student detailed their sexual relationship that spanned his high school career .

Former bridge warder , raritan high school teacher , lydia Lydia pink , though 38 , which charged November 8th with first degree or aggravated sexual assault and two counts of second degree sexual assault . She was arrested without incident .

The Somerset County prosecutor's office launched an investigation into pink those count conduct on October 16th after the Bridge Warder Police Department received an anonymous email detailing pink those alleged relationship with the student . The victim , now an adult , was identified and interviewed by detectives with the office's sex crime and child abuse unit .

On October 26th , somerset County prosecutor John P McDonald wrote in a statement . The victim further reported that the relationship turned sexual when the victim was between the ages of 14 to 15 and continued into the victim senior year of high school . The sexual activity all took place in the Raritan borough . The prosecutor said .

Pinto coach field hockey and girls lacrosse at the school . Per reporting by my central jersey and told drivers and according to a Facebook post on the high school's page , what a devastating , devastating turn of event . Upon her arrest , pinto was booked into Somerset County jail . Seven days later , on November the 15th , she was released pending her next court date .

Jail officials made mention to sources . I know that today parents are going to be iffy and weary in connection with their child dealing with teachers and dealing with changing circumstances . It's heinous , it's very sad and I'm sorry that you guys have to contend with these particular things .

It's not easy when you're striving to do what's right and you have teachers who are praying , who are trying to harass you guys who are trying to incite different urges and desires , and you think that should not even come up into the mind of a teenager until they're in their adult years in a relationship with someone and that's their spouse .

But no , these teachers are really , really compromising their free will and making it difficult for those teachers out there . Good teachers still exist who are trying to do their job . In other news , though , we do want to . We always want to try to slow it down every once in a while .

There are some good things happening in the school industry , and I thought this one was noteworthy to share with you guys . Billings Middle School brothers saved neighbors life and freezing cold . This is Billings .

In late October , middle school brothers Aaron and Thomas Waldo stumbled upon an injured man in Billings Heights who had slipped on ice during the area's first snowfall of the season . Thanks to their quick thinking , they were able to help save the man's life .

While most children are busy making their Christmas lists , these two young boys are reflecting on their recent act of heroism . It honestly kind of feels good knowing that me and him saved somebody's life . That day , said Thomas Waldo , an 11-year-old , on Monday . One small act of kindness could change your life and somebody else's life .

The brothers' lives have been forever changed . The more you help out , I guess , the more your life will change" said Aaron Waldo Thomas' 13-year-old brother , on Monday , like what has happened with us right now . The boys were on their way to school when something strange caught their attention . We heard someone yelling help .

Aaron said we kind of hesitated a little bit because we thought it was a trap or something . They quickly realized the severity of the situation as we got closer . He moved a little bit and it looked like he was in a lot of pain . Aaron said he made us take care of his dog and we put him inside and I grabbed his phone for him and he called someone .

The elderly neighbor had slipped on ice while walking his dog and was in desperate need of aid . Billings Public Schools told MTN News the man broke his femur in two places and couldn't move . He was on the ground for more than an hour before the boys found him . We weren't late that day actually .

Aaron said I don't know why when paramedics arrived they couldn't find a vein because the man was so cold , meaning without the boy's assistant he might not have survived . The boys were later recognized at a school assembly for their good deed Very refreshing . Mom is proud here , marika . She said she wasn't surprised when she heard of the boy's good deed .

It's nice to know that your boys are out there doing the right thing . There are some kids out there with a positive mentality and they're trying to do the right thing Now . Their mother . This is a family of six plus mom and dad , so there's six kids total and plus mom and dad that's a family of eight .

They may mention that the boys often spend their free time volunteering . One of the other children , stefan , was also recognized for giving back to the community . That's refreshing to hear .

I know that you young people have been through a lot of challenges and a lot of tragedy , but when you try to do something proactive , when you try to put your mind , your heart and your soul into something positive , it can go a long way . It can definitely lead for a better way in connection with tomorrow .

That's what a lot of young people don't necessarily understand that it does get better . It's just a matter of being patient . Guys , here we are with our final story of the night . I want to tell you this episode has been one of extreme interest .

We've had so many different stories in connection with the challenges that you guys are going through as young people , but please do not give up , guys . I'm begging you , I'm telling you that if you continue to stay the course , things will get better . You guys are loved on this platform .

Here's our final story for the evening 14 year old sexually assaulted while visiting grandparents at family friendly nudist colony . It was constant . Man allegedly molested a 14 year old family friend while she was visiting her grandparents at a family friendly nudist club in Minnesota over the summer .

Steven H Wicklund , 69 , was charged Thursday with third degree criminal sexual conduct in connection to the sickening crime . According to a criminal complaint obtained by the star Tribune , the alleged pervert is accused of taking advantage of the teenager during her July visit to the Oakwood club , which builds itself as a non-sexual and family friendly nudist colony .

The 14 year old girl has been visiting the natureist club with her grandparents and described Wicklund as a family friend . She told authorities she and Wicklund , both nude , were sitting inside the club when he allegedly began raping her and forcing her to touch his genitals . Now the interesting thing about this story was you have two grandparents here .

They are at this club with their minor granddaughter and it begs the question and I'm trying to be as taxable as I possibly can what was a minor doing there in the first place ? I know that in Europe there are new beaches and everyone goes , it's a family friendly event , etc . That's Europe , this is the United States .

So what in the world was a minor doing there with a 69 year old friend of the family ? This story is chilling . He told her it was fine and normal that they were sexually touching each other . According to documents , when the teenager told him to stop , wicklund allegedly grabbed her hand and forced her to touch him .

The Wisconsin man is accused of continuing to harass his victim even in the months after the trip ended , by sending her a string of explicit text messages , including requests for images of her and her friends . Have you been masturbating or having sex with your girlfriend ?

One of the deranged messages reportedly said Wicklund was immediately busted in November as the teenager's mother found a series of demented demands and reported Wicklund to the police . The teenager admitted to her mom that she was sexually assaulted during the trip to the nudist colony . Wicklund was charged by summons and is expected to appear in court on January 12th .

If convicted , he faces up to 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine . I will tell you , guys , at two days , that is one of the , if not the most disgusting and gripping stories that I've ever had to cover on this show . I don't know why people can't reason what is an environment for children and what is not an environment for children .

The bottom line is this , guys everything isn't for everyone . If you see something and you don't say anything , you could be limiting yourself from getting the proper help , because mom didn't find out about this until the text messages were made available to her by her just actively checking her daughter's phone .

Guys , do not actively wait for your parents to get involved . Talk to someone as best as you can and it will get better . Do not blame yourself in scenarios like this . Do not assume that no one will believe you . Make sure that you cover your bases by talking to someone who loves you , cherishes you and wants to help .

While , guys , as always , it has been a pleasure to be here with you , I just want to say that for the new subscribers that have come on to my channel , I really have appreciated being with you guys and sharing all of these expressions with you guys , because there is nothing like being able to help genuinely good people and to speak with you guys about your

expressions and some of the circumstances that you're going through in life . I know that personally it's not easy , because it's one of the things that it's not going to change entirely . This podcast , the comments it's not going to change the world . However , if you make way for a better tomorrow , things do and will get better .

Other than that , guys , with heartfelt conviction and strong love for each and every one of you , I thank you for tuning in another week . This has been episode 13 of RED . It's the Everyday Podcast for the Everyday People . Peace out . This is the Everyday Podcast for the Everyday People .
