I know in my class or in my school bus , I should say , my students are having trouble and one of the things that they're struggling with is knowing what the capital of the state of New Jersey is . And I'm saying to myself , how do you guys live in this state and not know what the capital is ? Not judging anybody , etc . But we'll leave it at that .

There's a nice lineup of stories for you guys and so we're going to get right into it . Love you guys , you're the best . Thank you for tuning in .

I appreciate all the followings , the feedbacks , the comments and the love I've been getting , so I'm really looking forward to just turning this podcast up and giving you guys exactly what you need and deserve each and every single week . Here's our first story Middle school teacher accused of strangling a student in Jefferson Parish . This is Metterley , louisiana .

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating allegations that an Adams middle school teacher strangled a sixth grader on October 17 . Heidi Moradell Castro said she filed the report with police soon after she picked up her son , darwin Moradell , early from school .

Tuesday morning I told my mom I don't want to go back to school because I'm scared to go back , moradell said . The 11-year-old boy has stayed home since Tuesday after he and his mother say bruises were all over his neck and lowered jaw when he was checked out of school .

Moradell says during gym class that morning he and his friend group were playing too rough and their teacher told them to stop and do push-ups . That's when Sabalon . Moradell says he insulted the teacher . The 11-year-old boy has stayed home since Tuesday after he and his mother say bruises were all over his neck and lowered jaw when he was checked out of school .

I called the teacher a very bad word , he said . The teacher came at me . He ran up to me and grabbed me by my neck and strangled me while holding me in the air . Moradell says the teacher brought him to the front office and a staff member called his mom to come and pick him up .

Castro says they did not tell her any details about why she needed to go to school . She said her son waited in the office for about two hours until she had time to check him out of school and only then did she notice the bruises . They didn't say anything , nothing , not the teacher , not an administrator .

Moradell Castro said Jefferson Parish School released a statement saying an employee is on leave while an investigation is underway . What if he does it again and puts his hands on another student ? He can't be allowed to teach classes again at that school , she said .

She also says she is waiting to see if the school district will approve a school transfer for her son . Stop , just stop . Here's the thing , guys . You guys know I'm 100% real on this podcast . In the one hand , on my one hand , I'm not going to say that the teacher was correct . Do not twist the words . The teacher is not correct .

However , I will say that humans have a breaking point . Why wouldn't the student just comply with the teacher ? Because , again , the teacher is being dealt with . The teacher is on leave . He choked up the student , yoked him up really good , like Yogi the Bear status . He's going to have repercussions in connection with this incident . What happens to the student ?

As someone who deals with kids every day , I can say that children will test you and if you don't hold a child accountable for their actions , they're going to continue to test you . It's up to the system , as it were , the school system , to be able to rectify such matters .

I was watching the news clip and certain persons are saying that , oh , this didn't happen to a child . They have to be realistic , they have to be reasonable . This is an outrage .

Well , the biggest outrage is this Parents not training their children at home and allowing them to come into an environment in which they are at the mercy of other adults who will raise differently , who have different tolerances , etc . Parents have to be aware of how they are training , or not training , their children at home to prevent things like this .

Yes , the teacher was 100% wrong because in all aspects , it will be wise to use self-control , but as a human being , sometimes you have a bad day and you slip . Now some may argue that this is a consequence for that teacher slipping . Others may argue that this is just the consequence of the boy not being raised .

In any event , both persons are facing consequences . The boy has been choked , bruised , marks all over him and the teacher is now on leave . So in situations like this , if everyone does their part collectively , together , then everyone can lead to a successful outcome . Here's our next story .

It's very gruesome A 16 year old kidnapped , beaten and video airdropped to Hampton High . And I just found this to be an interesting story . I don'tcertain things you just cannot muster words for . The parents are now concerned for the student's safety . This is Hampton , georgia .

Parents are deeply disturbed after a video that showed the beating of a 16 year old boy with airdropped to Hampton High School students on Wednesday . The now deleted video shows multiple people kicking the teen in the face , beating him until he bleeds and urinates on himself , calling him racial slurs and leaving him fortunately alive in a closet .

Hampton police are looking for William Kyle Latham , 18 , also known as KY . There's a warrant out for his arrest . He's facing kidnapping and false imprisonment charges . The Cowb county police are also assisting the investigation . Hampton police released a statement late Saturday saying the 16 year old was kidnapped Tuesday from the Bedrock community in Henry County .

He was driven to the Cowb county where he was beaten and robbed . Police said they called it an isolated incident . Since the video includes a minor and a ton of profanity , the video has been blurred in connection with this incident . Now , hopefully , I can be able to share this video at the bottom or on TikTok for you guys .

If not , see if you can flip over to my Instagram account or even my YouTube page to be able to see as to how gruesome this video is indeed . In the video , the teen is instructed to take off everything but his underwear . A voice accuses him of snitching about a shooting .

The beating ensues , latham puts a gun in the teen's mouth and threatens to shoot him in his privates . He's then pistol whipped . The teen appears to urinate on himself . He's given demands to repeat whatever the suspect , who appears to be Latham , says . He's lastly told to stay in the closet while the thieves steal his clothes and leaves him there alive .

Ashley Keaton has a niece and nephew at Hampton High School . Parents believe the 16 year old is a student there . No agency would confirm this . Parents are upset , concerned . They're afraid to speak out in connection with this incident . There's also going to be a photo in connection with KY , who has a worn out for his rest .

But again , this does leave people frightened , because young people today are filled with such rage and anger and frustration , and I'm trying to figure out where is all of this coming from ? Some will say charity starts at home , and it does from time to time . It does start at home , I kid you not .

But there are other occasions in which these young people are taking matters into their own hands . They're constantly being influenced by social media and that is really where the turning point comes in at , because at this point people are saying in one breath treat young people this way , they shouldn't be dealt with this way by adults , etc .

They shouldn't have their hands be put on by adults , etc . And I understand that . But at what point should an adult feel afraid for their life If you have these teenagers in school doing these heinous things ? They are pistol whipping persons , they are degrading persons , they are kidnapping persons .

At what point do you think an adult is going to feel safe in that environment ? And then , when something like this comes up , take action .

And that's something that the school system is not going to be able to control , because it's so frequent , because they're low staffed , because people don't have that same care that they once had in the past , it's going to be a lot more difficult to deal with these circumstances .

School Safety and Student Behavior

Well , what can you do to be able to cope with it ? One of the things that I find to be of advantage is to be patient . If you find yourself dealing with a tense situation , strive to be patient .

Cultivate self control , count to 10 , as it were , so that you can be able to cope with your own emotions and frustrations , because acting on those emotions might not only affect you , but it might affect someone else , and even the next person , akin to the person that you've already affected . When we all take the time to just take it easy , as it were .

Things do get better . It does make a better way for tomorrow , but you have to be willing to do it yourself . They say that a smile is contagious , and I believe that even those qualities such as patience , self control and mildness , those are also contagious qualities . Here's another story in which these qualities are totally missed . And what the outcome is ?

Over 500 students absent , scared after Washington State High School intrusion of masked attackers . 500 high school students absent A Washington State High School Tuesday . A small squad of masked individuals caused havoc during the school day Monday .

The Auburn School District told Fox News Digital that 532 students were absent from Auburn Riverside High School on Tuesday after this incident shook up the tight-knit school community . This incident has been widely publicized and has contributed to the number of the students being absent the following day , which is Tuesday .

Many parents are stating that their children were kept home because the students are afraid . This is what one parent mentioned , brandy Garber , in connection with her daughter . The Auburn Police Department said that on Monday , 5 masked people approached a side door of the school building around 1pm and entered it into a classroom .

Intruders ran through the halls and pushed 4 students and punched 1 . Other Auburn police confirmed this to Fox News Digital . Now Garbert told the news station that her daughter said that chaos broke out after the mask intruders entered the school hallways . She said everybody started running . Garbert told Cairo TV .

They said people came in and were masked and were pushing people out of the way . School administrators quickly jumped into action , causing the individuals from school ground to be chased . So they chased these persons out . Just what do you have to deal with today as an administrator to be in a school system but yet the parents don't tip ?

Administrators chased them and got them out of the building pretty fast . This was according to a spokesperson in connection with the police department . Following the incident , the local high school went into a secure and teach lockdown throughout the rest of the day . Exterior and interior doors were closed and locked and students stayed in their designated classrooms .

These are things that are just extremely unheard of . These are things that are more and more prevalent now at this time , versus how it was manifested in the past . You had those isolated incidences .

In fact , incidences in connection with these types of settings were so rare back in times past that you would literally spread it like wildfire because you would want to tell that story , because it was just so crazy that someone would come into the school , that someone would do this , that someone would do that .

But now we're finding out that these things are more and more prevalent , and that's where the challenge is coming in at . And so , yes , it's going to get to a point where it seems that students are going to feel overwhelmed and not want to go to school , and the thing about it is , for the parent , that means homeschooling .

Who has the circumstance to homeschool these kids in an economy that's in crisis ? The rent continues to go up , especially in Jersey Manor . The rent is I can't believe how much they're charging for some of these studio apartments or boxes . Man , they are tiny , but yet people . They're talking about $3,500 to start . I'm sorry , click , I won't be moving in .

That's just unheard of . I mean , I'm not the only one seeing these high prices . So now parents have another dilemma . They're facing the fact that their children may not feel safe in an environment in which they should feel safe .

Speaking of unsafe environments , if it's not incidences from the outside , if it's not students attacking students , you also have some teachers taking matters into their own hands . A Margate teacher arrested for allegedly roughing up kindergarten student . Margate , florida .

A Margate elementary school teacher was arrested last week for allegedly assaulting a five-year-old kindergartner student at Margate Elementary School . Officials said the incident occurred on October 10 and was captured by school surveillance cameras .

According to police , surveillance footage showed the victim seated on the floor with a group of other students before the start of class . The altercation began when the student threw a piece of paper in the direction of another student .

At that point , police said 53-year-old Khadija Muhammad , who was not the victim's teacher but was serving in the capacity of a hall monitor , approached the student in an aggressive manner and physically grabbed him by his left wrist .

Muhammad then lifted the student off the ground by his arms , twisted his arm and grabbed him by the back of his shirt while forcefully shoving him across the hallway .

During the two-minute altercation , muhammad tore the jacket off the student's back and continued to grip the student by his arms , wrists , shirt and jacket , he said towards the end of the video , partially blocked at times , muhammad grabbed the student around his neck and slammed him to the ground .

That's a bit extensive for someone throwing a paper airplane at their friend . According to the police report , at no point did Muhammad ask for help from any other staff member to control the situation . Clearly she felt as though she had everything under control .

School Incidents

A 7 News spoke to the parents on Tuesday and they said that they had no idea that this occurred at their children's school . I'm very surprised because my daughter right now is in kindergarten . But that is not her teacher , thank God . But that is very surprising to hear that it's from our school , very surprised and not being notified about it .

That's surprising too . Said Emily Fernandez . I definitely don't agree with that , said Phil Mazul . I have a 5 year old daughter and if it happened to me I'd be in there at once and want some answers . That's not something to play around with . These are little kids and I'm getting tired of this school stuff going down here . I really am .

I really feel bad for these students and their parents , and these teachers need to be held accountable . It's very shocking . I'm surprised . To be honest , it's alarming . But you know they handled it well . I'm assuming they took care of what they needed to . I didn't even know anything . That's a little alarming In these moments .

I will say that , parents , yes , it's upsetting when you hear these things , unfortunately , because of the world we live in . There are protocols . So , before they jump to the conclusions and say anything , if they weren't eyewitnesses here , those people who are investigating the situation at the school , they're going to have to take the time to investigate .

Once they gather the facts , they make sure that what they saw is what they saw . Then they're able to speak to you guys in a calm manner , as calm as it can be , because no parent is going to want to hear that the five-year-old was yoked up in body slam like he was participating in a WWF match . It's just not .

That's just not what a parent wants to hear . And so they want to collect evidence , they want to gather resources , they want to interview teachers who are around the situation and then present it to you , however . However , I do strongly believe that the parents who were involved , the victim's parents they should have been notified at once .

I mean , they'll call parents and tell them the small things at once oh , your child doesn't have a pencil , and don't forget , it's the big shop on Friday . But when it comes to something like this , they should have talked to you guys immediately . I agree 100% . Well , we hope that they're able to sort this out in Margate , florida . We definitely , definitely .

It's just a shame of the things that are going on in connection with kindergartners . Here's the next story we're following up with , which of Tom Middle School students receive medical attention after eating edibles . And of course we know it's around Halloween time . Teachers are giving out candy . Children don't know as to what it is .

If it was my child , don't eat nothing , don't trust nobody , don't even breathe on no one the wrong way , don't eat it . Wichita , kansas . Students at Brooks Middle School in Wichita need medical attention after consuming edibles brought to school by another student . So I stand corrected .

The Wichita Police Department said the incident happened between 9 am and 10 20 am on Monday and officers are investigating . Wichita Public Schools assured parents that student safety is their top priority and that the students involved in the incident will be punished .

They asked that parents speak to their children about the dangers of eating candy or any other item that isn't marked by a manufacturer . This incident happened less than a month after five other students took edibles at Coleman Environmental Magnet Middle School . Students in that case also needed medical attention after consuming edibles .

I'm not sure if I covered that story , but I will say this I agree 100% that parents are responsible to teach their children not to put things in their mouth , and one of the things that I'm noticing with these parents today , more common in the family environment , is that they strongly believe their child should be able to do whatever they want to do , and in

my mind , I'm trying to figure out how is that leading a person to being a responsible adult as they progress , as they get older ? Because life has rules . Right , there has to be rules involved , and so if you're teaching your child that they can literally do whatever they want on any occasion , then there is a challenge that your child is going to face .

A lot of the times , when you give these kids simple directions , they don't care , like they literally are not trying to hear it .

And that's one of the things that I find to be of interest that , when it comes to you as a parent , you should be concerned that if your child hasn't developed listening skills , they are not going to follow the directions of the next person . And sometimes we give our children practical safety tips , like on my school bus .

I tell the kids sit down , sit down , don't stand up , don't do this , don't do that . They think it's a joke . Well , what if we get into a terrible accident and , because of them not sitting down , they fly out of a window or they ram their head against the wall and they spill out their insides .

See , those are the things that the parents need to be keeping in mind , but the sad reality of it and I know that this may sound insane or crazy some parents don't love their children . Some parents don't care enough to give their children that direction , that discipline , that education .

I'm fortunate enough to know that I have two parents who love me and were very structured in my upbringing and that allowed me to be able to thrive and to think for myself . But some children don't have that stable environment and the sad part about it is it's not the parents who suffer in this case , it's the students .

We're now going into East Wake High School . Deputies use pepper spray to break up fight . More and more fights are becoming prevalent in the school system . The Wake County Sheriff's Office responded to multiple fights breaking out at East Wake High School on Wednesday . A witness who called 911 said several fights happened at the cafeteria .

Video showed students standing on top of tables and a deputy trying to separate students . Some students had to use pepper spray to de-escalate the situation . You know it's bad when they have to use pepper spray and , excuse me , I think I mentioned I said students but some deputies had to use pepper spray to de-escalate the situation .

It's not known what led to the fights or how many students were involved . There were no reported injuries , so I guess that's a relief . Principal Stacy Austin said there were separate altercations involving a number of students . Violence is never the answer . Violence is never the answer and the reason why it's never the answer is because it doesn't solve anything .

And the sooner that humans will realize that the better . And when you think about it , I personally feel that people know that already . But because of their love and thirst for violence , vengeance , rage , anger , they will run into a fight or an altercation just simply because they want to be in a fight or altercation .

See , years ago a person would fight because they were passionate about something . It was something they believed in .

But now , more and more and I'm not saying that today that's not the case , but more and more now there are senseless things that people are fighting for , and we're going to discuss a little bit more about that later on in the show , but it just causes you to scratch your head Like why are you literally fighting over something that can literally be prevented ?

Sometimes this fight was nearly a year after your fight led to East Wake High School being locked down and a student being taken into custody in October of 2022 . Juvenile petitions have not been filed and there is an investigation which is underway .

It's disappointing to hear when I talk to the kids that I come in contact with and I ask them hey , what is your future like ? What are you trying to do when you get out of school ? Because I get , I don't know and I'm like how don't you know ?

One of the things that really seems to be lacking in young people today is hope Guys , listen those who are tuning into this podcast listen Hope , the ability to believe in something that you may not necessarily see , but that you know it's going to happen . That could be going to college for you . That could be reaching a goal for you .

That can be developing a love for a particular hobby and then reaching it to its climax , being able to accomplish something . Those things will help you to stay clear headed during these difficult times in school . Keep your mind focused on your goal . That's your hope . Your hope is to accomplish that goal , whatever it is .

Whatever you choose to do , be able to set goals for yourself that will give you a direction and will let you know as to where you want to go in the future . That would be really a beautiful thing if you picked the right goal and you put the steps into acquiring it .

Our follow-up story here one wounded , one arrested and stabbing at East Providence High School . The East Providence High School was placed on lockdown this is Rhode Island Thursday afternoon after there was a stabbing involving two students . According to East Providence Police Chief , christopher Franz Schone , a 17 year old boy stabbed a 16 year old boy in a bathroom .

The victim was treated at the scene for serious injuries , then taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital . Franz Sonning said he was stable at last check Police responded to the school around 12.25pm after they were contacted by the school resource officer . Franz Schone said it was already on lockdown by the time he arrived .

Responding officers were able to very quickly identify and arrest the suspect , according to the chief . He said police are still working to figure out what led up to the stabbing , but they don't believe anyone else was involved . What a terrible way to begin .

I mean , we're only going into the third month of school , guys , just three months , Barely because you start to okay . Well , you get a third month of school at the beginning of September . Fine for some of you . But wow , we're already stabbing people in high school bathrooms . Like I don't understand what moves people to do certain things .

And then do you think there's not going to be a consequence because here it says that they arrested this person fairly quickly for the students who were around the circumstance , or even those who are friends of the victim ? I am extremely sorry .

It's not easy to deal with circumstances like this , because you just never know if it could be you involved in that altercation and one of the challenges in connection with these things is not being able to see it coming . Oftentimes people try to prepare in these manners . They try to be able to look for that exit , they try to be able to be peaceable .

But even in some cases you might just be walking past , you might just be overhearing something and then you get wrapped into the scuffle . You guys continue to be chill down in East Providence , keep your heads up and just make sure that you stay away from things that can provoke people , because right now some people are just going off the hinge .

Student in custody after bringing gun to Brighton High School police say A student was in custody after a gun was found in their bag Thursday afternoon at Brighton High School , according to police . Brighton Police said that about 12.30pm administrators at the high school received a report ofa student in possession of a firearm .

Two Brighton Police School resource officers were at the school at the time and immediately contacted the student , who was found to have a firearm in his bag . The student was taken into custody . The school was put on a secure perimeter while officers investigated . No students or staff were hurt , police said .

So now you have this student here who's dealing with the consequences of bringing a gun to school , and you're finding that a lot in different states . Right now in Jersey I haven't seen many of these stories , if at all any .

It just seems that students are either trying to bring guns to school for protection or they're trying to bring guns to school to wreak havoc on someone . But I hope that you realize that if you bring a weapon to school , they're going to try to charge you .

The thing that people are finding to be difficult is that they feel as though they shouldn't be charged because they're children .

But the bottom line is this Right now we are living in a world , in an environment in which people are feeling threatened and if they find out that a student has brought a weapon to school , has a record of doing that and they've done nothing about it , then all involved can be accountable if this student were to take action further into his hand .

We know that you guys are going to continue to make the most of things down there in Brighton , but again , for those who may be a friend of this person , try to talk to your boy or your girl .

Try to let them know that there's no need to be able to do things like that , because the consequences always outweigh that small minute of relief or joy or whatever they might be planning to do or the result they think they're going to get . It just may not go down the way that you necessarily think .

When I came across this story , I will say that this is one of the most tragic stories and it's tragic because it really is senseless . Archie Manning's Mississippi High School burns down 17s charged .

Sources say it's sad to see 17 ages all ages 14 or 15 are charged with twice setting fire to the former Drew High School in Drew , mississippi , last weekend , leaving the structure a near total loss , just as it was about to be placed on the Sunflower County historical register .

According to state officials , the two fires set last Saturday and Sunday gutted the entire building , leaving only parts of the exterior wall standing . The building was no longer in use as a school , but was used for community programs . Drew High School's most notable alumnus is football legend Archie Manning .

The 1967 Drew graduate and father to Peyton and Eli Manning and grandfather to Arch first captured the attention of both college football coaches and Major League Baseball Scouts . While a student there , he excelled at Drew in football , baseball , basketball and track , before going on to star at Ole Miss and in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints .

Contacted Thursday morning , manning told ALcom he was saddened by the demise of his old school .

School Arson and Child Abuse Cases

Wow , so let me get this straight . Right ? These persons ? These persons burnt down the school , right ? They burnt down the school of Eli Manning's grandfather . Wow , do you know what you've done ? Was it on purpose ? Are you not a fan of the team that Eli Manning is playing for now ? What in the world will make you think that was okay ?

The Mississippi State Fire Marshal's office investigated the fires , after which the Drew Police Department arrested six of the seven suspects , four 15-year-olds and two 14-year-olds . The remaining suspect was still at large as of Thursday . Each of the suspects is charged with one count of first degree arson and one count of trespassing .

All are under home confinement pending and issue court appearances . Their names are not being released due to their ages .

Well , that's one thing that they can count on as a protection , and some sort of good news is that their names aren't released because there's a lot of people out there who are Eli Manning's fans and they would definitely , definitely take matters into their own hands . But wow , that's just . That is something interesting . I can't believe .

It's just shocking the things that people do . And then what's even more shocking is that they don't even have a reason for why they're doing it . They just do stuff and then expect everyone else to understand why they're doing it . Here's this kid , I know right , you give him simple directions .

He throws his book back on the ground , he walks away from teachers and administrators and I'm thinking to myself okay , let's talk to mom and something's gonna get done . Talk to mom , nothing gets done . And I'm thinking to myself what is going on with this boy Like why do you guys allow him to act like this ?

What a world we've come to know and live in today , isn't it true ? Here's our next story . We're going to Milwaukee Police investigate a child abuse case in Milwaukee Elementary School . This is Albert's story school . There was a cute little . It looks like an alligator crocodile symbol there on the school nice school logo there .

Milwaukee police told WISN 12 they are investigating child abuse in a public elementary school . The case involves a teacher at Story Elementary School on Milwaukee's west side . The Lord Summers told WISN 12 she is outraged for her six year old daughter , honesty . Beautiful , beautiful first grader . She attends Story Elementary School .

It's at that school that Summers said a teacher put her hand on the child on Wednesday the aide told honesty she needed to sit down and honesty told her no , here's the kicker . She spanked her on the behind . Summers said she was spanked in front of the classroom . She said she was embarrassed . Other children were looking . Some children were laughing .

Milwaukee police told WISN 12 that they are investigating a child abuse . Police said a teacher allegedly struck the six year old child , causing pain . Police said the incident happened at 9am Wednesday . Summers said she didn't get a call until after 2pm .

She mentions that the police were accompanying them because there was a situation where an assistant special ed teacher had physically disciplined my daughter . This is what the police told her . This is a special ed teacher dealing with her daughter . Summers said she wants to know what happened to her daughter . She says she's never met this teacher .

She doesn't know who the teacher is . Most importantly quote I don't know what actually occurred . All I know is the school could tell me Well , your child didn't do anything . Summers said . That's all they could tell her . In a statement , milwaukee public school said MPS is aware of misconduct allegations related to a staff member .

Mps takes all matters seriously that impact the learning and advancement of our students . This incident is under investigation . All personnel matters are addressed according to district policy . Mama's furious . I can understand why . The Milwaukee County District Attorney's office told WISN 12 . The case is under review .

Of course , not the gathering facts , evidence , et cetera , et cetera , et cetera . But in this case here I'm not sure why the teacher decided to spank the child because the child said no . But I don't understand why people feel the need to just hit on other people's kids . This is a every case is different . Every case is different . This was a mild manner .

This was a mild case . She's six years old . The teacher could have called mama hey listen , he's not listening following instructions . Even with the kindergarten that we discussed , that was body slammed like no tomorrow . But the people that are coming into the school systems I don't feel like they're qualified .

Sometimes you find that these people are just thrown into the mix . They grab these people here because there's a shortage , there's a need , but they don't think about the consequences , because today people don't really care if they lose a job or not .

But the problem with that is , once they're in the school system , they've done the damage to the child and they leave , or you kicked them out . That still doesn't change what happened to the child , perhaps providing extra counseling , being able to provide comfort to the parents , or even just a special meal for the kid , just letting them know they feel loved .

You love them , rather , and you value them . Being a student at your school , that's all part of creating a nurturing environment for a young child . Today they were high school kids .

You would do something a bit different , but for these little kids , you want to make sure that they understand that they didn't do anything wrong because that's very difficult to communicate to a toddler or a young child . I should say In our next story we're visiting Elmira

Violence and Incidents at Schools

. Teen stabbed at Elmira High School at the football game . Elmira , new York . An 18 year old was stabbed in the Elmira High School parking lot during the Friday night football game .

According to the Shimon County Sheriff's Office , a 17 year old female corner post high school student and an 18 year old female former Elmira High School student got into a physical altercation in the Elmira High School parking lot during the October 20th football game between Elmira and Corning .

The 17 year old stabbed the 18 year old during the fight at about 8.40pm . It seems more and more teens are strapped , as it were , in connection with incidents , so I don't know what they were fighting about .

The article goes on to say school administrators and two deputies from the Shimon County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene immediately , but the 17 year old fled the scene before the deputies arrived . The 18 year old was taken to Robert Packer Medical Center via an airway ambulance . She was admitted and treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries .

Neither of the females involved in the altercation were in the stadium watching the game before the fight and the police don't know what led to the altercation . The names of the individuals involved have not been released at this time . If you have any additional information in connection with this story , the number is 607-737-2933 .

The Elmira Police Department and the Elmira Fire Department assisted the sheriff's deputies at the scene . So now you have students that can't even go to a simple football game without trying to stab one another because of different altercations .

I just don't understand what the mentality is in connection with why these young people are getting into these altercations , and it's more and more and more . I think that these things are just a way to deal with other problems that they might be going through . But in any event , if you guys are going through something , talk to someone .

You're always welcome to jump on this comment feed . You're always welcome to hop on this thread to be able to speak to someone so that you can be able to feel that your voice has some type of value , as it were .

It's not going to make all the problems go away , but at least you'll be able to focus and be able to express yourself in a channeled environment . Here's the next story Ocala's mom arrested after a heated confrontation with middle school receptionist over visitor pass . Marion County , florida .

An Ocala woman was arrested after she allegedly shoved her guest badge and a middle school receptionist's face and threw a crumpled up piece of paper at her during an argument . According to the Marion County Sheriff's Office , dawn Shepherd , 46 , was arrested and charged with battery on a public school education employee .

After the incident that unfolded at Liberty Middle School in Ocala on Wednesday , a deputy working as a school resource officer was notified that someone , later identified as Shepherd , battered the front receptionist .

According to an arrest , after David Shepherd was at the school because two of her sons go there and she was having a meeting with administration about their education plans . When they were leaving the school , however , is when things reportedly got hairy .

The school security camera captured Shepherd and her husband leaving the front office to turn their visitor passes in and check out . The affidavit said the receptionist placed a sign in and outlawed on the desk for the parents to sign , but that's when Shepherd apparently walked over to her desk and threw her guest badge at the receptionist .

This is not how you hand someone a badge . The receptionist told Shepherd , according to the affidavit , before handing it back to her . After about a minute later , shepherd walked around the desk and approached the receptionist with the guest badge in her hand .

She allegedly shoved the badge into the receptionist's face , her right hand clearly making contact with the woman's face . Shepherd's husband was seen laughing at the incident as it continued to unfold . According to the report , shepherd was then seen crumpling up a piece of paper , throwing it at the receptionist .

The two reportedly exchanged words before Shepherd walked back around the desk in an attempt to get the woman to stand up and approach her . The affidavit said the receptionist did not bite Shepherd , and her husband stayed in the front lobby for another 14 minutes .

According to the surveillance video , she was later arrested that day , transported to the Marion County Jail on $2,000 bond . She has since been released . Fox has requested a copy of the surveillance footage as well as a comment from Marion County Public Schools regarding this incident .

No further information in connection with this story other than the fact that this is a disgrace . I don't know why people do the things that they do . There was no reason for mom Dukes to come up in there just throwing stuff at this local receptionist . What is the problem with the rage today ? Does anyone have any control ?

Well , unfortunately , control is just not something that people are interested in today . So for you guys who may be dealing with circumstances at home , try to do the best that you can in these circumstances For the students who had to witness this or even the two sons involved . That's rough stuff when your parent is involved in such altercations .

It's scary , because what if the receptionist had a weapon and she decided to retaliate against this woman ? Now nobody makes it . Here's our next story 17 year old arrested for bringing gun to Montgomery County High School . According to the police , this is Maryland .

A 17 year old high school student was arrested in Montgomery County after police say he brought a gun to school . Akram Nazir is being charged as an adult for bringing the weapon to Walter Johnson High School .

Police were called to the school in a 6,400 block of Rock Spring Drive , or 6,400 block of Rock Spring Drive around 1.30 PM after a witness told school security about the weapon . A search of Nazir's belonging revealed a 9mm handgun . Nazir was arrested and taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit where he is awaiting a bond hearing .

He has been charged with underage possession of a firearm , possession of a loaded handgun and possession of a dangerous weapon on school property . Again , no motive detected here . It could be one of two things Maybe he felt threatened for his life , maybe he is dealing with bullies , maybe it's one of those scenarios .

However , in any event , guys , if you take these matters into your own hand , they are going to take matters into their hands Governmental authorities , administrators and again , that's something that they cannot afford to risk , especially what happened in Maine . Yeah , that wasn't a school shooting , it was a mass shooting attack .

But people are very on edge today , especially when it comes to gun violence , and it's scary times that we're living in . All of you guys who were at this school I know it might have shaken you up a little bit . Take it one day at a time . Always listen , be observant , do not provoke anyone .

Stay out of their way , keep your head down and then do what you need to do so you can be able to progress . Get out of there , get in , get out , do your work and just leave it like that , because you just never know what your classmates might be thinking .

Here's another story that finds itself manifested in a very unique way Suspect shot and killed on the roof of Germantown School . This is Germantown , wisconsin . The Wisconsin Department of Justice says a person was shot and killed after exchanging gunfire with officers at a Germantown school .

The DOJ says Germantown police officers responded to reports of a subject acting erratically in the parking lot of Kennedy Middle School around 6.30 pm on Monday . When police arrived , they said the suspect climbed onto the roof of the school . Officials say the suspect then fired at officers as they followed and the officers returned fire .

The DOJ says the suspect was hit by the gunfire and died at the scene . Officials say this is believed to be an isolated incident and no one else was injured . The officers involved have been placed on administrative duty per agency policy . The DOJ said that about 50 to 70 students were inside the building at the time of the incident .

The Germantown School District said in a statement all students , families and staff that were in the building are safe , accounted for and have been reunited with their families and loved ones .

All Germantown schools were closed Tuesday Superintendent Chris Ruder and a Facebook message said that all schools will resume their regular schools' schedules and bus routes on Wednesday , except for Kennedy because there is no access to the building until further notice . Parent-teacher conferences will go as scheduled .

Principals at all six German schools are connecting with teachers and support staff Tuesday afternoon to walk through a process of welcoming kids back to school . Ruder said Students involved in after-school programs will hear from their coaches and advisors about practices and games . All off-campus post-season competitions will continue at this time .

Wisn 12 News has witnessed parents and students reuniting at the school . It's a Mathiskeedron Skirton . His seventh grader , said she was inside the school for dance practice when the building went on lockdown .

Very , very distressing Circumstances that they're finding themselves in that these schools in Wisconsin and Germantown , and I just want to be able to say to you guys that it really is nice to be able to see the action that the school took in Connect with this particular story and that they're trying to move forward . So there was an incident that happened .

Someone got killed on the roof , rooftop of the school . We're gonna move forward now . We're not gonna linger in it , because lingering in a tragedy or circumstances that is scary or deftifying can be just as bad as rushing out of it too quickly or Continuing to bring it up , as it were .

So I'm really glad to hear that in Germantown Things are being taken care of in a very , very Modest and practical way for the students . We wish you guys all the best as you continue to move forward the days ahead . Parents , the greatest influence that you can have on your kids is your influence .

Two mothers get in fist fight on Osceola elementary school bus over toy . This is a Kissimmee , florida . The Osceola County Sheriff's Office are investigating a fight between two moms on a Mill Creek elementary school bus .

The two were seen throwing punches and Tustling over children as they were being dropped off Thursday outside the Heritage Park Apartment complex and Kissimmee . An incident report from deputy said the fight started over two children arguing on the bus over a toy .

Both mothers took it upon themselves to get on the bus and insert themselves into the argument , eventually escalating into a fight . Wow , the parents actually got inside the bus to actually fight in front of the children , said one parent , elizabeth Ortega .

A Video that has gone viral on social media shows the kids running to the back of the bus and screaming for the two adults to stop . And this is their kids screaming for their parents to stop . I can't believe so . Again , this is how you teach your children to deal with altercations and deal with issues . Okay , someone is having an issue with you in school .

Let's just beat the person up . These two mothers in this video , hopefully I can be able to upload it for you guys . If not , here on tiktok again , check my Instagram page or YouTube Shorts . But being able to see these moms fist fighting like this in this manner , it is really , really sad . Man , it is not needed .

And then here's another question , because now , as a school bus driver , I know in Jersey we don't really play that game when it comes to parents coming in and on and off the bus . A lot of parents get upset oh , I gotta bring Scott his lotion , I gotta bring her napkin , or whatever . This is why parents are not allowed on the bus .

And one story a parent jumped on the bus and punched the kid in the head and then got off . Why was the kid on the bus to begin with ? If you keep the parents off of the bus , then these things won't happen . Because now the question is is the company going to take action and possibly Fire this driver ? Because they could ? He wrote the company policy .

What if these parents would have hurt or even killed another kid on the bus in the midst of their fighting ? That's the question we have to think about . That's what we literally have to ask ourselves when we make these decisions . I hope the bus driver is being taken care of that . Hopefully he didn't lose his job .

He or she didn't lose his job , but the company could tell you that you're fired because you let parents on the bus and put other children in danger and if those children's parents want to take action and connection with child endangerment , you got to watch your back .

In other news , montgomery County elementary students find gun in trash can on school grounds , silver Spring . Maryland School officials say a group of Montgomery County elementary school students found a gun in a trash can on school grounds in Silver Spring .

In a letter to the Farrell and elementary school community , principal Dr Lakisha Lashley said the students found the gun during recess earlier this week and reported it to school staff . Montgomery County police confiscated the firearm . No injuries were reported .

Meanwhile , authorities continue to investigate a deadly shooting that happened just across the street from the school campus . The shooting was reported just before 11 pm Monday and the 14 3400 block of Farrell Road . Police say one person was killed and two others were injured .

It is unclear If the recovered weapon and the deadly shooting are related and that's one of the things that you have to always piece together . You have shooting that occurred across the street the following the previous night , and then now the gun itself is being found in the trash can . That's very interesting .

I'm glad the report , though that no students were injured and we wish you guys all the best out there in Silver Springs , maryland and Montgomery County . I'm sure it was very , very unsettling for the student to find that gun and the trash can .

Education, Safety, and Gun Incidents Concerns

Now here's something else , right . Here's . Here's really what I'm thinking up , right ? I talked to my kids a lot . We talk a lot about the education in school systems today , and I'm not going to pull your chain . There's a lot of things that I've been taking care of and taking out .

I've not been taking care of been taken out , and one of those things is cursive handwriting . Why did they take cursive handwriting out of the system for education ? I don't know . If you guys know , hit me up , let me know , because it's a mystery to me and you well . California is bringing it back .

California mandates cursive handwriting instruction and elementary schools , and this is just a brief , brief update . More than a decade after it was phased out in most schools , elementary school students in California will begin learning cursive writing next year thanks to a new law . That was all the update we have in connection with this story .

Hopefully it will continue to progress . But that's awesome . You know , my pops asked me you , how can a kid sign for something if , then , they never been taught cursive handwriting ? In fact , I might need to brush up on my cursive handwriting because my signature is not the way I would like it to be .

We wish you , guys , all the best as you implement that mandate . It will be a bit of a learning curve for most of the students because cursive is definitely a foreign concept and it does take some mental strength to be able to acquire and reach that goal . We're starting to wind down here , guys . Now two more stories here .

Second grade is seriously injured after being hit by JCP S bus near Lure Elementary School . Louisville , kentucky . A second grader was seriously injured Monday morning after he was hit by a JCP-S bus near Lure Elementary School . It happened in the Highview neighborhood just after 8am on Faganbush Lane and Hollow Creek Road .

Lmpd said the bus was headed south when the child may have darted in front of the bus . The bus was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery and is in critical yet stable condition . The thing about this story the details surrounding what happened just before the boy was hit .

Lmpd said there was not a traffic guard there at the intersection at the time of the crash , since the one who was usually there was reportedly on bereavement . So now 1 . That's the first dynamic School . Get a replacement while your people are out . A representative for JCP-S said there were no students on the school bus and that the driver stayed at the scene .

The boy's father and his sibling were with him when the crash happened . Neighbors nearby said the crosswalk leading to Lure Elementary crosses a very busy street where cars frequently speed . They said it's an issue that could lead to disaster and in this case it did lead to disaster .

Carlina Estrada said she was behind the bus when it happened and has a different perspective on what led to the crash . Estrada told WAVE News the boy was in the crosswalk and that the bus fell to stop . We reached like the front of Lure Elementary and there was a crosswalk .

Estrada explained the bus just didn't yield to the crosswalk and then the kid's foot got caught under . Estrada says when she saw the boy on the ground , she immediately ran to provide first aid . I hopped out of my car , ran up to him and I checked his leg and there was a woman next to me checking his pulse , making sure he was still breathing .

Some wondered why there was no replacement for the traffic guard , and LMPD spoke towards and said that out of 112 available slots , 76 are currently filled for traffic control officers . As short as they say they're trying to correct , here's the thing it mentions that when the child was crossing the street he darts out into the road .

He was walking with his father . He goes ahead and runs out into the road . Parents , not saying this is dad's fault , Make sure in no zones you hold onto your children .

No , not just to find what happened with the bus driver , because according to this eyewitness , it seems that the bus driver should have spotted the kid way before the foot got stuck underneath the tire . However , as a driver , sometimes it is extremely difficult to be able to spot dangers in the road , especially if they sneak up on you .

We hope that this second grade of recovers very speedily and that it leaves the family without anxiety on them so that they can be able to cope with the challenges of everyday life that will continue to permeate as they deal with this situation . Here's our next story Teen shot near Baltimore County Elementary School during dismissal .

Baltimore County police said they are investigating a reported shooting near Edmondson Heights Elementary School . According to police , students were safely dismissed . Police said it happened at 3.40pm the school playground in Woodlawn . Dismissal started at 3.25pm . A male teen was found near the school with a gunshot wound .

He was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition . The children who go to school there were in the process of being dismissed when this happened , so the school was on lockdown , but at that point most of the kids were already out of the school . This was the police spokeswoman . Joy Stewart said Parents and neighbors are shocked .

If the elementary school is not safe , nowhere is safe . One father said I'm just shocked it happened in this neighborhood because this is a good neighborhood . Nothing around here happens like this . A neighbor named Keisha said Guys , I keep trying to stress and emphasize that there is no such thing as a good neighborhood .

To say something like that , to live in that environment or to think that a good neighborhood is contingent on just one location , that's foolish , because that would be you being saying , in effect , that crime cannot travel . Crime travels .

So no matter what area you live in , no matter how long you've lived next to Mr and Mrs Johnson , you still need to check your surroundings , you still need to watch your news . You still need to be updated and aware that certain things are happening and changing in the neighborhoods that you deem safe at one point in your life .

Police are asking residents in the area to review their doorbell camera footage to see if there is anything relevant to the investigation . Police say there is no danger to the surrounding community , but they have not yet determined a motive or suspect in the shooting .

Parents can expect an increased police presence at the school Wednesday morning out of an abundance of caution . I just think that's remarkable . Some districts would not provide that security and protection and that's the sad part . Those are the things that will make the families and students feel safe and protected . We hope that another incident doesn't occur .

They're continuing to investigate and we'll see as to what happens later on in the future . Here's our final story for the night guys Student brings gun into Roseville High School weeks after two students arrested for gun possession . Principal says this is Roseville , minnesota For the second time and less than a month .

Police were called to Roseville area high school after a student brought a gun into the building In a message sent to families Tuesday . Principal Dr Jen Wilson says police were called to the school at about 1pm after the discovery and the entire school was put into a hold , with students and staff temporarily confined inside classrooms .

Police and staff combed the school and the gun was recovered . From a school perspective , our next step for the student involved will be to follow our disciplinary action , which has a number of potential results , up to and including expulsion , wilson said Late last month , two students were arrested on the same day after two guns were found on campus .

It is not clear if those students will face criminal charges . There's nothing further in connection with this story . I do find that to be of interest . So now , instead of celebrating dating anniversaries and wedding anniversaries , we're celebrating gun anniversaries .

We hope that the rest of the student body here in Roseville , minnesota , will be able to deal with the circumstances that are changing . Guys , this is what I want to be able to conclude the show with 1 . Take caution , no matter where you live . It doesn't matter how good you think your neighborhood or area is .

The Importance of Communication

. 3 . Communicate . Oftentimes problems happen because people do not communicate . That's something that I'm working on in connection with my wife , and we continue to communicate . It's not a one size fits all .

Communication is a beautiful thing , because sometimes you win , sometimes you lose , but nevertheless , if you try your best , if you set goals for yourself , if you make sure that you're doing everything in your power to protect yourself , then you will see better results . Other than that , guys , it has been a pleasure to be your host .
