¶ Mental Health Awareness Month Introduction
This is the Everyday Podcast for the Everyday People . Guys , welcome back to another episode of RED . It's the Everyday Podcast for the Everyday People .
Now , as you guys know , last episode we were introduced to the month of May as Mental Health Awareness Month , and we're so happy to report that the findings in connection with how people are getting support throughout this month has been quite , quite encouraging .
Last week , we focused on what mental health is and what it isn't , but now , in this particular episode , we're going to dive into how you can take steps to deal with mental health and , for those of you who have family members , relatives , friends , et cetera , who are going through mental health difficulties , how you can support them during their ongoing need .
Although people believe that prayer is a form of therapy and that it's something that can help you to cope with circumstances on a therapeutic level , we're going to focus on how prayer can be able to help you deal with mental health challenges . One particular thought comes from a very , very , very , very encouraging thought . It's found in 1 Peter 5 , verse 7 .
There it tells us that when we throw all of our anxiety on God , we receive a peace that liberates all thinking , because he genuinely cares for us . What does that mean For people today ? They feel as though prayer is not going to be able to assist them or help them in connection with their mental challenges .
Some people believe that it's a form of therapy in which no one is listening . However , we're helped to understand something particularly different . It goes to reason that for some people , prayer has been a powerful help in connection with supporting them during trials and times of difficulty .
So here are some things to keep in mind in connection with your personal prayers and how you decide to handle your heavy emotions . Remember this that no problem that you are experiencing is too big or too small to pray about . So if it matters to you , then it's something that you can put into prayer .
For some people , in order to cope with the challenges of life and connection with their mental health , they decide to record a prayer journal . This allows them to meditate on their feelings , put them into an enclosed space or a private place , rather , so that they can be able to find comfort should they decide to express these thoughts at a later time .
You see , when we struggle with our mental health , one of the things that really comes to fruition is that we may feel as though we are alone . We may feel as though no one understands our struggle , and it's true .
It's not reasonable to conclude that every person that you may have in your family or your friend's circle is going to understand the struggles that you're going through , regarding whatever your mental health circumstance may be .
For those persons who may have thoughts of ending their life or persons who are dealing with severe anxiety , it's going to be difficult for you to express to family members and friends how you are feeling and how they can be able to understand your emotions .
But when you take these emotions , you channel them in a private place and you make it an effort to pray , even if you don't believe anyone's listening , you will find a source of comfort . You see , when we sincerely tell God in prayer how we feel about certain things , we find a sympathetic and understanding listener .
Now , for those of you who don't believe in God , we're not going to push this thought . But for those of you who do , you recognize and understand that prayer is a powerful motivator in connection with coping with mental health , here is a powerful motivator in connection with coping with mental health challenges .
God knows your pain , he understands your struggles and he wants you to throw that burden and anxiety on him . You can receive comfort throughout the most difficult of trials , and it really can be of benefit . Here is a real life experience of someone named Julian , who expresses how prayer assisted him in coping with his anxiety .
He says I struggle with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder or OCD . Anxiety affects me at seemingly random times . One moment I am fine , in the next I feel extremely anxious , for no apparent reason . I especially become anxious when I am around other people . I am intensely concerned with what they think of me . Here's what he says is his help .
I have learned from studying the Bible that prayer does not need to be lengthy or eloquent to be acceptable to God . That prayer does not need to be lengthy or eloquent to be acceptable to God . Sometimes , when I cannot put my feelings into words , I simply pray please help me . Even then , I feel a sense of understanding and a response in that exact moment .
In addition to prayer , I have sought medical therapy . I am happy to say that , thanks to both of these sources of help , my condition is much improved . It is absolutely worth the effort to reach out to my Heavenly Father and experience His loving support . True , no one can be forced to seek help for mental challenges that are causing them discouragement .
But here we recommend that if you are going through mental challenges and it's reasonable to believe that many of us are going to have mental struggles , based on the time stream of life that we live in and all the things that are negative surrounding us , it's going to be more of a reality than not .
So seek an opportunity to find encouragement and strength as you deal with circumstances that may cause anxiety , depressions and feelings of negativity . Well , guys , that was our theme in connection with this episode how to cope with mental health issues and how to support those in your family who may be going through such circumstances . Now this following story .
This week we have a lineup of stories , again as always , that will leave you guys a bit flabbergasted . These are some gruesome and intense stories and I have to warn you that for some persons these stories could be unsettling . Norwalk High School softball coach accused of touching students arrested .
A softball coach at Norwalk High School is accused of inappropriate behavior and touching students on school grounds , and police have arrested him . Police said their investigation started on April the 1st and they obtained an arrest warrant for 70-year-old Carrie Nadel of Wilton .
He has been charged with four counts of sexual assault in the fourth degree and one count of risk of injury to a minor . Norwalk Public Schools said in a statement that they concide personal matters to be confidential . They said Nadel was put on unpaid administrative leave from his part-time seasonal position on April 1st , before the season began .
Nadel turned himself in at a police headquarters on Thursday . His bond was set at $100,000 and he is due in court on May 23rd . Police are asking anyone who has additional information to call Special Victims Unit , detective English at 203-854-3043 , or you can email them at penglish at norwalkctgov .
Now this is one of the things that really comes up into my mind . Right , this individual that we're dealing with in this story is a softball coach . He's a male . Now , as a school bus driver , I've been doing trips this month of May transporting the softball team to their games and etc .
And one of the questions I've always asked myself is why is it that a softball coach for females minor females is often a male ? Now , some people may feel as though that's a bit sexist and discriminatory , and I'm going to say you're right .
There are certain things that we as humans have to do to protect ourselves , even if it may seem as though it's going to be on the negative side of the fence Now that this coach has been noted for touching these young girls . It's going to be on the negative side of the fence Now that this coach has been noted for touching these young girls .
There's going to be a switch change . There's going to be a need to put someone in this position that is not going to be a threat to these girls , to the victims involved in this story . We do hope that you're going to have a well recovery and that we encourage you to find comfort and support from your friends and family during this ordeal .
In this following story we are dealing with I don't want to say stupidity , but we're dealing with a case of circumstances that develop in school all the time , but this one is just . I guess you would say it went a bit too far . Plainville middle school student taken to hospital and will face charges after laptop catches fire .
A Plainville Middle School student who caused a laptop to catch fire at school was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation and will face criminal charges .
According to school officials , firefighter and police officers responded to the middle school of Plainville around 10.15 am Thursday after reports that a laptop caught fire in a classroom , according to the superintendent of schools .
Superintendent Brian Reyes of Plainville Community Schools said an investigation revealed that a student intentionally stuck scissors into a laptop , causing smoke to emit from it . The student complained of smoke inhalation and was taken to the hospital for treatment .
¶ Prayer as Support for Mental Health
No one else reported being injured . Reyes said the investigation is ongoing and the student involved will be referred to juvenile court to face criminal charges . The school was evacuated after the fire alarm went off and was back in session in less than an hour , according to the superintendent .
Now this was reported that several Connecticut schools have been evacuated in recent days because of the concerning trend on TikTok , in which students are recording themselves sticking items like pencils and springs into the charging ports of their Chromebooks to set them on fire . And now we know why kids in America tend to not get equipment in school .
I don't know why someone would think it's a brilliant idea to stick something into a laptop to cause damage to the school equipment , but it just seems that children today are impressionable . Whatever their friends are doing , they'll do it , and social media has really pushed this demographic further than ever before . Our following story .
We are expressing concern for this young girl here in Janesville . A Janesville middle school student hit by vehicle while riding bike . School district says A Janesville middle school student is recovering after being hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle to school Friday morning . The school district of Janesville confirmed .
The district explained the Marshall Middle School student was hit around 7.20 am while riding near the intersection of Rutledge Avenue and Pontiac Drive in Janesville . The student continued riding to school and contacted school staff members . The student was taken to a medical facility to be checked out and the student's family was notified .
Medical facility to be checked out and the student's family was notified . Wmtv 15 News has reached out to Janesville Police Department about the incident but has not heard of any follow-up . Well , we are going to hope and pray that this student is okay .
It seems that this year there has been a lot of incidences regarding vehicles , students , bicycles in the show this year and I will tell you guys that one of the things that you can do obviously you can't prevent all accidents from happening , but strive to be a little bit more aware on your bikes .
I'm not saying that this young girl was not aware , but what I'm saying is the people around you are occupied with other things . People driving their cars are doing everything else but driving , and so we're hoping that this girl is going to be fine as she takes steps in her road to recovery .
Now we're transitioning back to the TikTok challenge , the challenge of sticking items into your Chromebook and hoping that it explodes . Media is on these stories . These are stories that's come to my desk and they're trying to prevent these things from spiraling out of control , although I'm not sure as to what they're going to do .
Southern middle school evacuated after student attempts social media laptop fire challenge . Now the last story took place in another location . Now we're in Kentucky .
A Lexington middle school was evacuated on Thursday after a student attempted the social media laptop fire challenge , a trend that encourages students to short out their school-issued device and potentially catch fire .
In a letter to parents , southern Middle School principal , kevin Payne , said that the building was evacuated out of an abundance of caution and was later cleared by the Lexington Fire Department .
Payne said that the national trend disrupted the classroom learning environment for some of our eighth grade students and staff and , as a result , have been learning in alternative locations within the building locations within the building .
Parents are encouraged to speak with their children about the serious offense and reinforce that this behavior is criminal and not acceptable at school . Students can report information anonymously through the school's stop tip line on their website , and parents can reach out to Payne directly with questions or concerns .
I'm telling you , as a school bus driver in New Jersey , you're better off asking the students to stop and then threatening them , because today , parents don't really think that it's acceptable to discipline or counsel their kids in these certain matters .
Some parents are on this kick where they think that their children should be allowed to do certain things because of the joy that it brings them . Or here's my favorite all of their friends are doing it .
Well , the reality is this If anything goes down in connection with this TikTok trend and these laptops and someone gets seriously hurt , your children are the ones that's going to pay the price . Parents , be diligent , vigilant and strive your best to encourage your children to be smart , versus encouraging your children to make decisions that are unwise .
In this following story , we're going to talk a little bit more about how children making unwise decisions can cost someone dearly . Pittsburgh area . High school student had part of ear bitten off during fight . High school student had part of ear bitten off during fight .
A Washington County mother said part of her son's ear was bitten off during a fight with another student at Ringgold High School . The fight between the two students occurred in the bathroom of the high school , with each of the boy's parents speaking out in defense of their child . Each parent accuses the other student of bullying their child , the .
Though the school has remained mum on the specifics of the fight , here's what each parent is saying . The mom said the school failed her son . The mother of the boy who had part of his ear bitten off said she warned school leaders numerous times about her child being bullied on their watch . Then her worst nightmare happened .
The mother said she got a call from the high school telling her that her son had part of his ear bitten off . Her son's ongoing struggle with this alleged bully came to a boiling point earlier this month when the two boys ran into each other in the school's bathroom .
She said a fight broke out and ended violently when her son got the top of his right ear bitten off . Despite the severity of the incident , she said the attacker is back in school after a 10-day suspension . She said the punishment doesn't fit the crime . Now the other student's parent is stating this . It's the other way around .
His son was only defending himself . Both parties agree that the beef between the two boys began sometime last summer , but where they differ is which one couldn't let the grudge go . When asked why his son bit the boy's ear , he said that he had no other choice . Since the incident , the father said he and his family have been continually harassed .
The Ringgold School District said it does not comment on student disciplinary matters , but in a statement to KDA it said that it is committed to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all students .
Well , that's very generic reasoning and response from the school , but the reality is a school cannot stop a student from biting the ear off , or a piece of the ear off of another student . The reality is that schools can only maintain and protect students from violence to the very best of their abilities .
One of the things that I find to be of interest yesterday I was on my school bus and there was a kid , and obviously I can't give the kid's name because these are real experiences . Long story short , there's a kid in the back of my bus and there's a kid in the front of my bus .
The kid in the back of my bus is known to be quick and very fast with the fist , so he tells the other student not to say things about his mother . The student in the front of the bus continues to provoke the child in the back . Now , before I continue , we cannot go by the admonition stakes and stones break my bones .
But blah , blah , blah , because the reality is we're living in a different time . Before I could even get out of my seat , the student in the front of my bus said something about the student's mother In the back .
He leaps over the seat and he begins to punch the student in the chest and I had to discern as to when I could jump in and separate them , because if I got hit it would have been a problem .
So I jump in , I separate the students and I encourage the student in the front of my bus to be careful what he says , because when you say things to people today , you are most likely provoking that person to take action .
We're hoping that the student who got his ear a piece of his ear bitten off is going to be able to get the assistance that he needs , because this is , or could be , a very traumatic circumstance . Now , in this next story . I know that many of us are getting ready for senior pranks . It's mid-May .
We're excited , we're pumped up , we're ready to go , go , go . But the seriousness of this prank I don't even know what the thought was here , but clearly it wasn't a thought completed . A student uses Bic razors in senior prank at Broken Arrow High School . Broken Arrow Public Schools says at least one student is facing disciplinary action following a senior prank .
Fox 23 reached out to Broken Arrow Public Schools Chief Communications Officer , tara Thompson After hearing a rumor a student brought razor blades to school as a prank . Thompson said B big , disposable razors were dispersed in the courtyard of the high school and a stairwell in one of the buildings , but none were placed in classrooms .
The razors were taken from a special education classroom overnight that focuses on teaching the students personal hygiene tasks . Thompson said the school identified the student responsible and is taking action and disciplining them . Short story , small details . But man , oh man , oh man . What in the world was this student thinking ?
You know , I thought senior pranks was supposed to be on the harmless side , but when you introduce razor blades and real weapons to the mix , you're in a thin line of a prank . You know what I mean You're literally crossing that line from prank to dangerous or danger or hazard to the building .
I don't know as to what they're going to do with this student , but hopefully for those onlookers it's a lesson that your actions do have consequences . Guys , please be smart . If you're going to get involved in senior pranks , remember they're supposed to be fun , encouraging , and it's supposed to be something that the school will never forget .
Well , I guess I'm using that term very loosely . It should be something good that the school will never forget , really something for the underclassmen , the juniors that are going to be graduating the following year . You're kind of leaving them a legacy to follow . But man , oh man . Earlier this year in the show we talked about a very , very tragic circumstance .
A young man named Carmelo Anthony stabbed a student to death at a track meet . Well , now there are updates in connection with this murder charge that he's facing and if he's going to graduate , what kind of emotions it's stirring up . Frisco track meet stabbing suspect . Carmelo Anthony set to graduate from high school .
Family rep says Carmelo Anthony , the teen accused of stabbing another teen at a track meet in Frisco last month , is set to graduate from high school and receive his diploma . An advocacy group representing his family says Anthony will not walk on the stage .
According to Frisco ISD , anthony , a 17-year-old student at Frisco Centennial High School , was arrested and charged with murder for fatally stabbing Frisco Memorial High School student-athlete , austin McAuliffe on April 2nd at the University Intergalactic League's District 11 5A Championship Track Meet at the Kukindel Stadium .
He's since been released from jail and placed under house arrest after his bond was reduced from $1 million to $250,000 .
The advocacy group Next Generation Action Network , which previously organized a press conference on behalf of the Anthony family , says that Anthony is set to graduate and receive his diploma without the need to attend school for the final month and a half of the academic year , after completing the necessary credits and after his family reached an agreement with Frisco ISD
, but will not participate in any senior graduation activities . According to a press release , other outlets have falsely reported that Anthony would walk the stage on graduation day . So beware of those updates , guys . As a result of Anthony's charges , many people have been giving he and his family a rough time .
In his story he argues that he was defending himself from this student . He goes into his backpack , he pulls out a weapon and he goes straight into this student's heart ? We don't know because we weren't there , but there are a few questions that people are asking about this particular story . One in particular who carries such a weapon with them to a track meet ?
The other question why did he aim for this person's heart ? Tragically , the victim died in the arms of his twin brother .
And again , although this story was covered on the show earlier this year , I do just want to express my condolences again , because I know for the families that this is a heavy story and there are people out there every day losing family members to death because of another human being's poor choices or because of another human being's instability .
Now , true , some may argue this to be self-defense or whatever the case is , but it never , ever is a valid reason to take someone's life . The altercation was quick , it was fast and in that brief moment , a family has lost a cherished loved one . Very , very tragic , it's just tragic .
You know , you try to be a good person and you try to live in this world and you try to do your best , but the reality is these things happen . All we can do is continue to move forward , pick up the pieces and show genuine love to one another to help them get through another day . Now sometimes on the podcast we spotlight students who have gone rogue .
Other times on the podcast we highlight parents who have gone rogue . In this following story , guys , I will want to warn you that this is by far the craziest story I've featured on this show . Mom bought ammunition , tactical gear for son's planned mass violence at SAISD school . Sapd says
¶ School Safety Incidents & Concerns
the mother of an SAIS SA ISD middle school student allegedly brought ammunition , magazines and tactical gear for her son , who had expressed a desire to carry out acts of mass violence at Jeremiah Rhodes Middle School . According to SAPD , ashley Pardell , 33 , was arrested on Monday on charges of aiding in commission of terrorism .
Court records show she bought the items with knowledge that they would be used to plan and carry out a crime . On Monday the student showed up to Rhodes Middle School campus wearing a mask , camouflage jacket and tactical pants , but left shortly after . Police said Investigators and school officials did not know where the student was for a period of time .
The affidavit states the school added extra security and police officers and swept the campus for potential devices . The student was later found off campus and charged with terrorism .
According to school officials , who sent parents a letter on Monday , the student appeared in juvenile court on Tuesday and has another hearing scheduled for later this month , indicating that he most likely remains in custody .
Sources told KSAT On Sunday , a day before , a family member contacted SAPD about items found in the possession of Pardo's son , including a rifle and pistol , ammunition , black tactical gear and an improvised explosive device made from a mortar-style firework .
The family member also stated they found three loaded magazines and a note that had several names of mass shooters written on it . Some of the items were inscribed with 14 words and SS symbols , references to white supremacy , language and previous mass shootings .
Detectives said Pardot had previously been approached about her son's behavior by local law enforcement , child protective services and school officials . Police have added Pardot expressed to the school her support of her son's violent expressions and drawings and does not feel concerned for his behavior .
The affidavit said Pardot's son was suspended in April after it was discovered he was researching the 2019 Christchurch mosque shooting on a school-issued computer . He had described a fascination with past mass shooters . The affidavit states the student attended an alternative school until he remained or returned to Jeremiah Rhodes Middle School on May 8 .
At that point , school officials implemented a safety plan in fear of potential violence . School officials implemented a safety plan in fear of potential violence . Pardo was issued a $75,000 bond , which she posted on Tuesday and was released from Baxter County Jail . Records show when a parent , a parent , sets their child up for failure . This is unfathomable .
I cannot believe , maybe I can't believe it . I've seen a lot of shows , a lot of stories on my show , and I'm at a loss for words here . Guys , how would you feel knowing that your son or daughter is attending a school in which a parent of another student supports violence , terrorism ?
It's interesting because it reminds me of this movie called Minority Report with Tom Cruise , and the concept behind the movie is the police can project if you're going to commit a crime before you commit it and they would arrest you based on something you were going to do crime before you committed , and they would arrest you based on something you were going to do
. But then the movie gets complicated and it's the whole free will . And how do you know ? I was going to do it . Maybe I was going to change my mind , or whatever the case is , it's movies like that that make me wonder about stories like this .
If this student would have taken another step without the proper attention or notice , we'd be looking at another devastating shooting in the United States . It's very difficult to know that this is how people view human life now . They have no regard for human life .
We hope that the victims or the persons going to this school are at ease , but this is definitely something that should be discussed and there should be adequate comfort provided for these persons . Very , very scary close call regarding this student . It's very , very , very , very distressing times we're living in .
In this following story we're talking about a student that's gone missing because of flash floodings in Maryland Boy missing . Elementary schools in Maryland evacuated amid flooding .
A 12-year-old was reported to have been swept away in Virginia and rescuers in Maryland used boats to help evacuate elementary school students as heavy rains caused rivers to flood in several states . Tuesday In Virginia the fire department said it searched for a 12-year-old boy who was reported to have been seen swept away by floodwaters .
The search was paused overnight over safety concerns , but was due to resume Wednesday . A person called 911 around 5.30 pm Tuesday and reported that the boy was swept away by rushing water that spilled from a creek onto a roadway In Allegheny County , maryland .
Georges Creek Elementary School and Western Point Elementary were evacuated and students at a middle school were told to shelter in place . The Allengheny County Department of Emergency Services said no injuries were reported .
Now , the flash floods in Maryland and Virginia occurred as more than 17 million people were under flood watches or warnings , from Southern Pennsylvania and West Virginia to North Carolina .
According to the National Weather Services , as of now , there is no update in connection with this young man and if there's going to be any type of resources put out there to ensure his safety . But I can only imagine how the parents are feeling regarding these circumstances . It's unsettling .
It's unsettling when you don't know where your child is or don't know what the circumstances are . Well , we hope that this young man is found and we do want to express our love for you guys down there in Maryland and Virginia . These floods are really , really , really bad . I've been dealing with kids for many years . We get instructions .
One of the instructions is that we are never allowed to put our hands on a student . Some people follow the instructions , some people have their own way . In the following story , notice how this
¶ Dangerous TikTok Laptop Challenges
71-year-old man decided to take those instructions and use his own personal discernment . Elementary school substitute teacher , 71 , arrested for throwing student in classroom .
St Cloud police say say A 17-year-old substitute teacher was arrested after St Cloud officers said he grabbed a student by the collar and threw him into a classroom wall as punishment , according to the police department .
In a news release , police said that the teacher , kazmor Shah of Kissimmee , was working as a long-term substitute at Neptune Elementary School on April 29th when the incident occurred . Investigators said that a student reported that Shaw approached his desk and grabbed the front of his shirt with such force that a button popped off .
The student further alleged that , after dropping crayons on the floor , shaw grabbed the collar area of his shirt physically , lifted him from his chair and walked him to the corner of the classroom . The student went to the school nurse , who observed marks on the child's neck and notified the principal .
Police said photographs showed several small raised red marks on the student . Detectives interviewed Shaw , who reportedly admitted to grabbing the student and acknowledged that he violated school policy by doing so . Osceola County Schools confirmed to News 6 that Shaw , who was hired in January 2023 , is no longer employed by the district .
Records also show that Shaw previously announced his candidacy for the Osceola County School Board in 2021 via a Facebook page His profile on the Foundation for Osceola Education website listed involvement with multiple local organizations , including a county advisory board .
St Cloud Police said they coordinated the investigation with both the Osceola County School District and the Florida Department of Children and Families . Shaw faces a charge of child abuse without great bodily harm . Several times on this show I encourage persons working with children to be mindful of how they allow their anger to get the better of them .
Some of these comments are calling this man Morgan Freeman gone wild . I can't support that , but what I can say is I am concerned for the student . Let's just say that the child has not been introduced to spankings or pappings on the bottom at home , or his parents deal with him in other disciplinary ways . This is traumatizing .
It's traumatizing that your first encounter with violence is from an administrator , someone who's supposed to love , protect and guide students . We're hoping that this young man makes a well recovery as we strive to catch updates for you guys . Each and every single week the following story deals with misconduct . It's happening more and more between teachers and students .
There's a blame game going on here . The reality I firmly believe that students should be paired with teachers of the same sex . I don't believe that students should fraternize with teachers of the same sex .
I don't believe that students should fraternize with teachers of the opposite sex , and if they are in the classroom of a teacher of the opposite sex , there should be someone with them . There should be .
There's this person that comments on my TikTok videos , always want to be slick at the mouth and she's saying , well , it's district policy , that this is every school . No , it's absolutely not . I've been working with the school districts for many years and if it is a policy in other states , it's definitely not here in New Jersey .
Here's our following story A Richfield Middle School employee arrested for suspected criminal sexual misconduct . Hey Jaden , what's going on , broski ? An employee of Richfield Middle School was arrested after being accused of criminal sexual conduct .
Richfield police say school officials called law enforcement Tuesday to report a possible sexual relationship between a middle school employee and a student . Officers arrested 23-year-old Joshua James Moden on probable cause of criminal sexual conduct .
A spokesperson for Richfield Public Schools told Five Eyewitness News that Moten is a campus supervisor for the middle school and is on administrative leave . In a statement to families , the school district wrote in part the safety , well-being and trust for our students , staff and families are our highest priorities .
We are committed to creating and maintaining a school environment where every student feels safe , respected and supported . The district's full statement can be found at kstpcom . Moten had not yet been charged as of early Wednesday afternoon . Richfield police says prosecutors will make their decision whether or not to file charges by Thursday .
These stories just give me the chills . A 23-year-old teacher getting involved with a middle school student and this is a case of sexual misconduct . We don't know what exactly was involved , but we do know that this was something definitely inappropriate because this man could be facing charges . And he's so young . He's definitely so young , jaden .
What's going on , broski ? I'm doing all right . I don't know if you're still there in the live , but I'm doing all right . I'm just recording my show , getting that next episode out there . Sometimes parents believe that they have brought their children into this world and they can take them out of this world In this following story .
Many of our viewers will find this to be quite unsettling . Father charged after baby left alone inside vehicle dies in Lakewood Township , new Jersey . Now , this is my hometown , this is my home state . Rather , this is where RED podcasting is based from . It's a New Jersey based podcast . Very , very serious story .
A 35 year old father has been charged in connection with the death of his baby who was left alone inside a vehicle . The baby was found around 1.45 pm on Tuesday in the area of 5th Street in Lakewood Township , new Jersey . Medics took the four-month-old boy to the hospital where he was pronounced dead .
Authorities say Moshe Ehrlich surrendered to police on Thursday . Authorities say Moshe Ehrlich surrendered to police on Thursday . He was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and taken

to Ocean County Jail . At the time of the incident it was 59 degrees in Lakewood that afternoon . The inside of vehicles heat up about 20 degrees in just 10 minutes , regardless of what the temperature is outside , said Amy Artuso , director of Mobility Safety Programs at the National Safety Council .
She says children are more vulnerable to heat inside vehicles , pointing out that a child's body heats up three to five times faster than adults . The circumstances of this incident do remain under investigation . This story comes as a long line of parents leaving their children in the car and it costing them their lives .
Some persons may even wonder , as wicked as the thought could be , are these things being done deliberately or purposefully ? Deliberately or purposefully ? While we reach that final story of our episode and this last story is gruesome . It is death-defying . It is serious . Former school principal pleads guilty to child rape in Delaware .
A former school principal and teacher in Delaware has pleaded guilty to child rape . Tasha Purnell was charged with sexually abusing a student under the age of 16 while she was a teacher at Stanton Middle School from 2010 to 2014 . Despite the charges , purnell , who also goes by the last name , oliver , was hired by AI DuPont Middle School in 2020 .
