An initial conversation with Christian Roy in which we touch upon the various senses of history which have sprung up from modernity, and the implications of those senses for the challenges of the moment. Numerous thinkers are raised along the way, with Eugen Rosenstock-Huessy's criticism of Oswald Spengler's "Decline of the West" being an initially guiding thematic.
