Episode description

ACTOR | SCREENWRITER - Andrew Manardo is pursuing a career in the entertainment industry as a PWD or Person With Disabilities. His particular "disability" is that his forearms and hands were effected genetically. However, that doesn't stop the persistent and driven young man from staking his claim as a legitimate, equal opportunity performer in this so-called beauty-obsessed and narcissistic profession. Andrew has spent the last year studying at the Playhouse West repertory acting school and his recent published articles can be read in the Act Now Magazine. Andrew is so thrilled to have just finished his first screenplay and it is currently being shopped around town for production. INTERVIEW QUESTIONS INCLUDE: How can we encourage Screenwriters to write more realistic parts for physically challenged actors? What career advice can you give physically challenged people who want to pursue a career as an actor, but haven't because they don't feel they have a chance of being cast or hired in the entertainment industry? What Talent Agency or Management company do you know of that has booked manages physically challenged actors? WEBSITE: https://www.facebook.com/manardo?fref=ts
