We've got a couple of queer films to recommend, from Brooklyn teen queer longing in 'Beach Rats' through to passionate paleontology in 'Ammonite'. The latter of which sparks a wider discussion of the somewhat frustrating paradigm of lesbian relationships in film and why there seems to be a trend for petticoat pieces when it comes to depicting love and lust between women.
