Episode 20 - Nashville
Kara
0:15
Hello, and welcome to the Queen's Pitch podcast. I'm Kara. And I'm Bridget.
Bridget
0:19
And we've just faced Nashville and had a pretty tough
Kara
0:24
loss. Yeah. Nashville, SC. Is that what it is? Yes. When I see that, I think of Nashville, South Carolina. But it's not. It's Nashville. Soccer something,
Bridget
0:33
right? Yes. Soccer club. Soccer club.
Kara
0:35
Yeah. We lost to him two, one in the
Bridget
0:38
very final minutes. It's a tough one to swallow, but let's break down, I guess. What's a little bit of a different about the starting eleven. We had Adilsa Milanda playing right back, which is a first for Charlotte FC. But we've seen some weird things this season already, so that's not too out of the ordinary to make room for a bill to Iloma on the back line in his normal spot. And something strange was going on up front. The. We had carol, Enzo, and Miram, which on paper, I guess, wouldn't make much difference. But I feel like carol played the nine today and Enzo played more of a right winger, maybe to trick their, you know, defense.
Kara
1:21
Yeah, I think we switched some things up. At one point, I thought we were four four two. I just didn't know who the top two were. I think Latanzio was trying something new today. I think
Bridget
1:30
it was just trap ing. So two would trap, two would trap. Whatever he did, it worked for a while. So anyway, that was neat to see melana back there on the back line. I was like, what? What are we doing on that? It didn't seem to slow him down, so that's good. So we're going to just keep trying new things, I guess that's what we're going to do. Well, we thought we could see Cambridge come in, but he didn't come in the starting. He did not. I
Kara
1:52
just don't think he's ready for that.
Bridget
1:53
I think you were right in saying that that might have been too much pressure to bring him in on such a tough game. We had Nashville's at the top of the table, so, I mean, I agree with you. I think that would be a little too much pressure.
Kara
2:05
Yeah, I think this was a tough game. For sure. For sure.
Bridget
2:10
Our line was pretty much veterans.
Kara
2:12
Our line or their line?
Bridget
2:13
Our line. So our least veteran, I would say, is
Kara
2:17
yon. I thought Melonda was newer than yon,
Bridget
2:19
but Melonda's been playing every game. Yon has not. So to me, the least experienced who's been out there inconsistently has been yawn, but he's been consistent last few games. So you have a very experienced
Kara
2:32
lineup. Right. So you want to go ahead and get into the nitty gritty?
Bridget
2:37
Yes. So who are you going should we do ras or favors first? Which
Kara
2:40
one you want? I say we just do the wrath first just because we throw it up. All
Bridget
2:44
right. Who are you? Wrathing tonight.
Kara
2:47
Okay, so I'm going to just do a little teeny tiny baby wrath again. I'm going to wrath bill, I know he came back today, and he just got back from that little injury he had, and he did put his little heart and soul into it. I'm not going to fault him for that goal that I thought was the on goal, but she told me it wasn't. It was just like a deflection. But isn't a deflection like an on goal anyway?
Bridget
3:07
No. So the the guy who shoots it, it's an on goal if he if he actively moves it into the net.
Kara
3:15
Okay, so anyway, so I'm not even mad at him for that one. 1s I'm mad at him because he cannot I don't know why we keep letting the kid do free kicks, okay? Because he air mails it. He legit air mails it every time. And you have Carol standing right there that we know can do that. Carol can do it. We've seen Carol make them shots. But no, for some real reason, we're gonna give it to Bill who then's gonna airmelon send it pack like send it out to space. And it just like he I think he thought we were playing like the American football and not the other football because he kicked it right through the uprights and it was like score, but it wasn't really a score because it was the wrong sport. I don't know. Anyway, that's why I don't know. So it's a baby rap because he tried his little heart out. But poor dude, I think
Bridget
4:01
he argued Carol off that kick. I think he was like, let me try it. I can think, I can get it down. And he was trying to go, I think, both over and have it sink into the top corner because he can sometimes make it. But yeah, I think Carol was hotter than Bill. I think Carol should have taken it. I think
Kara
4:20
Carol should always take those. Carol can do those kicks. We've seen Carol do it and go in.
Bridget
4:25
So can Bill, but not for us yet.
Kara
4:27
Well, either way, he's done it before and Miram can do it too. I don't know. I just think that Bill is not the best at those and for some reason he wanted to be a hero and it was a zero in my book, but he did good. So I'm not going to give him like full on wrath because I really don't think much of the team had a big wrath. I think the team played their hearts tonight. It just didn't come out the way we wanted it to. I agree with that. I think my wrath is probably going to go to more on the fact that this was a game where we needed our wingers. And I feel like what we did is we band aided the situation against a really tough team. And so I can't really fault them. I feel like they played their best. I feel like we really deserved a tie here as far as effort. And I don't feel it like it's fair, this game to wrath, a ref for the penalty, because I feel like the rest of the game was called very well. Yeah. So
Bridget
5:24
while I don't like that, I feel like it really has to go more on the fact that we're downwingers and we're trying weird things and it's disjointed, but A for effort, even though not always our attitudes seem to be our heart seem to be in it as much. Because I feel like the first half was not other than Bronco who carried half of it, his heart was in it. But other times, it just was disjointed. We weren't always winning first and second balls. 1s And it was a it was a tough match.
Kara
5:55
I just don't understand why we can't we cannot close out. We can't close it out. I would have been happy with the tie. I mean, I wanted to win, obviously, but at one point, I was like, I'll just be happy with this tie. Let's just but then that 90th minute hits, and then here we have extra minutes, and it's either at the half when we get extra minutes, or it's at the freaking end when we get extra minutes. But you're always on edge because you're just like, Dear God, don't let score. And then they do, and you're like, oh, my gosh. And half the time, it's because we did something stupid. It's not because of anything else. So it's crazy.
Bridget
6:28
Well, in our 1s injuries report, we've had a lot of our defense come back from injuries and be on the pitch, but what we haven't had is our wingers come back. We have Benders out. Mackenzie's out. Youth reacts out. Kerwin was out until tonight, and he can't play a full thing because we don't want him re injured. He's already been re injured twice, so we really want to be careful of him. We saw Miram grabbing his knee. 1s Who else we got? That's why we have such a weird thing where we've had Adilson and Lindsay playing half right winger at times, and not that they're not great for attempting it, but that's not their typical. 1s Job. So we're really lacking those experienced or players whose winger is their job. And that's a lacking here when you're playing such a talented team who's at the top of the table? I think this would have been winnable, like you said earlier. If we had Yusuiak, we would have done better. That would have been very tough for
Kara
7:32
Nashville, I think, if we had anybody like, if we had anybody that's on the bench that we could I mean, I hate to say this, because I don't want to bring it up, but if we had the two S's that are just mia right now if we had them, we would have a bench. You know what I'm saying? Right. I don't know what those two S's are doing or
Bridget
7:51
what if Mellow had been up to par. Yeah, up to par. Correct. Because that was that really nice connection. And I think Carolyn, when he comes in, he has some really great crosses that just don't connect because Cambridge doesn't have the experience to run for them. You're just lacking that extra balance of both knowledge and connection there. Because I feel like Kirwin has some great attempts, and then Swaderski almost had a very nice attempt, but. Our attacking power is diminished by lacking through injuries and through other circumstances. And that's that's where my wrath goes. So, Bridget, let's bring in some positives. Who would you like to favor this
Kara
8:31
week? This week was really weird for me. I'm gonna sing you a little song intro into who I'm doing this week. Am I only dreaming? 1s Is this burning? Any turn off blame? Yeah, don't judge my singing, but I'm actually going to favor Nathan Byrne today. Hell has not frozen over. I did not drink any alcoholic beverages, I didn't take any drugs. I've done nothing of the sort. I just actually think Nathan Byrne did probably one of the best jobs out there on the field today. So I'm giving him my
Bridget
9:04
favor. And we are all stunned speechless, are we not? 2s What did Burn do so well to make you like him this time? I almost feel vindicated that I keep being like, oh, no, here burns good qualities. Finally you see something.
Kara
9:20
Well, it was hard. It was hard to see little dude. But no, he was out there, so the way they were playing, he was on my side, so I could see a lot of what he was doing and he was trying really hard. I could see that they do some type of shift, so instead of Maram being up front, it's like Burn goes up front and then Maram comes back and then yawns there. So they do like this little triangle little thing and it's kind of weird. And I noticed that, I mean, Burn still got burnt, but he even got burnt by the ball one time. It got out of his control. His little feet was trying to go on the ball. He got too ahead of it, but whatever, it was kind of cute. Tried to get back, but he actually tried to score a couple of times. I think he tried to shoot the ball. I think one time he tried to cross it and it went toward the goalie. But we'll give him credit for it. He was actually trying to make shots. I really wanted him to get a shot in just so I could go crazy. I was cheering for him. I was like, go Burn, do something. And he was doing it. So I've always been one of those people, if you give it 100%, then I'm going to give you credit for it. And he actually, I think, gave it 100% tonight. I could see him high five and he was super excited when Bronco scored. He was high five and Maram a lot. So I think that he gets along with those guys really well. So he must be doing something for everything that he gets burned on. 2s Okay, we can blame him for that. PK at the end, I guess, but he was just trying his little heart out. So this probably won't ever happen again, but I'm going to give him my favor today.
Bridget
10:51
I think that's well deserved. He created chance. We saw him get a really nice cross into the box. He had two shots, and they were both pretty accurate. He had some great passes in the final third. 1s He wasn't dispossessed. That's pretty good. And he drew a few fouls, so solid quality from Nathan Byrne tonight.
Kara
11:14
Yeah, he got a yellow card. He was playing real hard. I think he did that so that they didn't score. I think I'm gonna give him the credit for that, even though I don't really know if it was diallo. But he he played. He played. He was running around and he he had little bit of speed that he had. Those little legs will just go, I told you. He did. He does, and he tries, and that's all I wanted to see. I wanted to see him try. Sometimes I feel like he's not always out there, but I feel like he was doing what he was supposed to do tonight. I wish he would just do that more. But then we also I think we have five people on the back line. It seems like it sometimes. So that helped cover him, too, when he wasn't
Bridget
11:52
back there. Yeah. And about that penalty, I don't think if you use the same brush that we had or calls from Wednesday, if you apply that to today, that's the stupidest penalty I've ever seen. So 1s even if he gets it, because anyone could take a screenshot, a still, whatever, but it, to me, looks like the man is already flying in the air. And if he brushes him, he brushes him with, like, a shin guard, a sock, it doesn't really look like he changes his attempt or really bumps him all very much, especially when we see such egregious ones that also don't get called. But I think it's called and it happens because he blows the whistle and so they have to commit to it. I do think that it would have been better for Charlotte if he would have actually gone onto VAR and given them something, and then if they would have then decided, again, it's still a penalty, fine, but it just felt like a giant, screw you, Charlotte, again, 2s but I don't put that on burn. I think he was doing a pretty good job. It would have been really nice, really sweet if he'd have gotten the ball on that one little bit very clearly, but. Yeah, I don't think he did. So here's where we are.
Kara
13:10
No, he didn't. Would you like to
Bridget
13:11
go ahead and do your second
Kara
13:13
favor? I think I'm going to give it to Milanda because just because he was out of position and he did, I thought he got hurt one time, too, and he sucked it up, went back and kept on playing. That means a lot to me. I do think he's getting tired, though. But we're playing every game, and he's playing every little game, too, and he just got back from an injury, so he's doing what he can, though. And I think for Latonzio to say, hey, we're going to put you on the outside instead of Lindsay, that's a big call.
Bridget
13:37
That's what I was about to say. What do you think the reason for that was, in your opinion? I
Kara
13:42
think Latonjo was wanting to set us up for defense more, and I think Lindsay is more of an aggressive score, goes out on the outside, winger, whatever you all like to call him, I think he's more of that. And I think I don't know, but I think because I saw there was like, five on the back line. So I think at one point I saw you had Melonda, you had Bill, you had Derek Jones, you had Sobasinski, and then you had Little Burn, but really it wasn't Burn because it was Maryam because he backed up. So you had that big back line. So it was a really big presence back there. And I don't know if that's really what it was, but I feel like that might have been why Latonza was trying to go heavy on the defensive side. And I think that Milanza is more of a defensive
Bridget
14:26
player. And one time, even Capetti was out there helping Melanda. He was all the way at the back. He wasn't playing that center mid. So I saw him one time come back there to help that same side that Milanda was on and be a defensive asset in the back. So I thought that was really neat to see that shift. But one of the reasons I thought Dilson comes onto the back. So here's my hypothesis. Okay? 1s Roll with me on it. Okay. So with Hani Muktar, we know that he's like. 1s An extremely exceptional player, right. Carrying Nashville. And well deserved. He got some amazing statistic today, or milestone, really, is what I mean today in our game. Blowing past that. He's been all over the pitch. He gets free rein, right to go anywhere. I think Adilson is there to partially watch Muktar because he's faster. And then he also knows the call, like, trying to catch off sides a little better, possibly because he can move a little faster. I think it has something to do tactically there, but I could be wrong. But I also thought he had a great cross. He had some offensive plays here today that were a little different. And his passing was very good. He had some good long balls that actually connected. And so I thought he played really smart for playing out a position and probably doing a special sort of job that is extremely unusual. So great job idealson. There's times where Mukhtar definitely got down there since he scored twice, but what more could we do? I'm not convinced that was a bad job.
Kara
16:08
Yeah, and I don't think that that one you can't say that he beat anybody out on that PK because that wasn't just whatever. So anyone could have got that. So I'm not thinking that dude is any better than anybody on our
Bridget
16:20
team. Right. Especially when the scoring came off the deflection from Bill.
Kara
16:25
Right. So they didn't really do anything much more than we did. Yeah,
Bridget
16:30
it was fairly evenly matched.
Kara
16:32
Yeah. Not going to get that. So who's your
Bridget
16:34
favor? Okay, so I think my first one has to be the mayor, brant Bronco. Bronco.
Kara
16:42
We were wondering where he was at. He finally showed up.
Bridget
16:45
Yeah, this was an awesome game for him. He's been consistent but shiny in games. I would say last week, something about Chicago always to me, turns Bronco a little more polished, a little more diamond. And I think he carries that into this game because I think he dribbled through, like, what is it? Four defenders to score that goal in the 6th minute. That's incredibly fast. Yeah,
Kara
17:08
he did three defenders and then the goalie. So I guess you could say
Bridget
17:11
four. And then he was trying more things because I think he felt like he was a little hotter. So he also had, like, a key pass. He was trying a little more shots. He had two shots on target, one off. He was trying a little more dribbles. Just solid effort from the mayor today.
Kara
17:28
I think he did a better job than Westwood in the midfield today as far as controlling the ball and making things happen, which is fine. They can alternate. You can't have 100% game or a game every time, but I think that did you notice he cut his hair? He still has a mullet, but he doesn't have, like, the Mullet that hangs down. It's not as long he cut it off. I noticed that. I think the black and pink shoes are helping him out, too. I think he needs to keep those. But it just seemed like he had that confidence once he got that. Shot in. It was like, okay. It was like you saw the old bronco come back. He wasn't just running around just to be running around. He was actually making things happen, which is fun. I think there was one time I thought that he could have shot it a little quicker when he was in the box but he passed it. But that's what he's supposed to do. He's not supposed to shoot every time anyway, but he did good. I like bronco and I think he end enjoys it when he does stuff at home because Charlotte's is home. So I think he really likes that. Okay, who's your other favor?
Bridget
18:31
My second favor, this was a hard one, but I think it has to go to Jan sobachinski because the eyeball test definitely seemed like 1s when he goes solid, he goes solid on like a streak. He was winning duels, aerial duels, clearing, providing interceptions. He wasn't really dispossessed. He had his long balls. Some connected a lot didn't. But I think that's too, because we were kind of off on the front a little bit. But he had eight passes into the final third, which I thought was a decent effort at offense there. Didn't he take a knock this time, too?
Kara
19:13
Yeah, I think you said he got punched in the face by the goalie. Yes. I don't know what happened. I know he was holding his head a lot at the very end and he wouldn't take a header. You could tell he'll normally take those headers and he didn't like he normally would. He was using his feet a lot, which was awesome. I thought that one time he deflected that goalie, that goalie kicked it out of the box or threw it out of the box and he nailed it with his foot. I thought it was going to go back in. I thought that was awesome. Yan has stepped up just like camille has. I don't know what happened to the polish powerhouse, but something got into them the last few games or the last few months and they're like, whatever crap we talked about them or whatever anyone talked about them, how they weren't pulling their weight. They were like, watch this, we will. So they're showing. I think as much as we say camille is becoming a solid person that we don't want to ever don't want to get rid of, I think yon is actually team. It in his place, too. I mean, obviously when carujo comes back, crujo is going to get it. But you never know. You just never know. They might move yon to another side or do something with him just like we're doing with Milanda. And that might be what lady is doing. He's setting Melonda up because he knows when kurujo comes back, we have to do something with that line if we want all these guys to play. So maybe he's like getting them to do more things.
Bridget
20:32
Maybe, yeah. And that's why he's trying people out on different positions, too. But one of the things that I really noted this game was, especially the second half, it felt like Yon, he just worked harder. He was a little workhorse out there. When he got punched in the head during the header, he didn't give up because there were moments right after that where, you know, he had to play tough and defend, and you could tell. This affected him. Not enough to necessarily be pulled out because I'm not sure what you were going to do otherwise, but you could tell that he was not playing the same. But I think it was important that he didn't give up because that was a hard knock to the face. Not as hard as honorable mention. Christian Kalina taking a pretty tough punch on saving a goal, right? And so Nashville gets a yellow card because he basically kind of attacks him. Not ugly, but it would have been nicer if he could have avoided it better. But the goal for Nashville with the deflection off of Bill comes very soon after that. Kleena can't get to it, but he had had a poor distribution that led to that goal. And so I really think both of those things are from getting hit in the head. I
Kara
21:51
thought he got hit really hard. I thought we were going to have to have Pablo come in. He really oh, my, george will be out. Clean will be out. But luckily clean is a tough one. He got knocked and he came back. And then I actually thought that somebody hit him. He was holding his shoulder for a minute. He got
Bridget
22:10
twisted in the hit. Okay. So it probably wrenched his whole body a little bit,
Kara
22:15
which is not good on the back. You just have back surgery,
Bridget
22:18
right. But he wouldn't be doing this if he wasn't better from that true.
Kara
22:24
He did a good
Bridget
22:24
job, but I also noted that his 77th minute save, kalina was hitting his face to kind of wake himself up or something or to try and help maybe that pain. So it was kind of worrying to see him act like that. But he made it through. And then, of course, then he had to do a penalty there at the very end, just when he kind of thought, oh, we're almost out of here. 92nd minute penalty. And he almost got a MIT on it. He was so close. It was a tough game. Honorable mention. I think if he hadn't gotten injured in that, we'd have seen some better quality. But I also think he's still not 100%, too. Just like you were saying, everyone who was giving criticism to George saying Kalina is going to be better, colleen is going to be back and do so much better than George. I'm not sure we're seeing him shine the way we did, like the Atlanta game last season, right at the very beginning when he was shot, saving like, impossible things and making dives and things like that everywhere. I feel like he's done well, but he's not to top top quality yet. And he'll get there.
Kara
23:39
Yeah, he's going to get there soon. I mean, we have a game every other day, so at least he'll get his experience. He'll build his hanging strength back up. He'll get it. And then when Carujo comes back, which we hear sooner, than we think. Hopefully, then I think that help him out, too, because he'll feel a little bit more confidence with Kurujo, I think, just because he's got that. Comfortable. You know what I mean? They're pals.
Bridget
24:02
I have an honorable mention, too, that I feel like kind of carries on from last game because it's consistent the last four games that Justin Narham has been in. Right. He's either gotten goals or assists, and last week he got an assist or I mean, Wednesday he got an assist, and tonight he got another assist for Broncos goal. So keep that form for Justin Maram. Yeah,
Kara
24:26
justin's become like that first game. I was real worried about him when I saw him in DC. Because he's acting all weird. We'll get past that. But since he's gotten here, it seems like he's become that other father figure on the team other than Westwood, you know what I'm saying? He's got that camaraderie with the team. He gets along with them. I didn't know it was Carol. I say this every week. You all got to read Charlotte Ledger Carol Walton's things, but she wrote about Miram this week, and I didn't know he'd been in the MLS for like 13 years or whatever, so he knows a lot of people and stuff. And then the younger ones, he said he uses his humor and jokes to get along with them. I just think that's super cool. And then he's so grateful when he was being subbed out, when he came out, first of all, to try to practice at the beginning. When they do, they warm up. He was one of the first ones to thank the crowd when he came out. One of the first ones to thank him when he went in. When he got subbed, he was like, walking across walking along the sidelines. I don't know if you all saw that at home, but he was thanking everybody because everybody's cheering so much for him, and he was just thanking everybody. He was so grateful, and I just love that about him. He's grateful. What he does. He goes out there, he does his job. I mean, the first game I was worried, but he's out there doing his job now. He's making the connections. Yes, he messes up some, but he's doing what he's got to do, and he's putting his heart and soul into making this team win. And now that his wife and his kids are here, I think that's going to make him even more at home. I'm hoping that makes him even more comfortable, too. But he's going to be tired, too, because he's playing all the time as
Bridget
25:51
well. Yeah. I thought Kerwin coming in was nice to see him back, and he had some very nice crosses and pieces, but of course, didn't get service and connections we needed. I hope we'll see him maybe in the Open Cup and he can come back to top form and just keep being
Kara
26:09
healthy. Lindsay came in as a sub two, and Lindsay is a little beast. He came in and won that ball. I think he had like seven passes in the eight minutes he was in the game, or however long he was in the game. Just don't know why it wasn't in there longer, because he was in there winning. I think
Bridget
26:25
we're going to see him for the Open
Kara
26:27
Cup. Yeah. So I think that they're alternating him and trying to give him some time to rest, because this is a lot of
Bridget
26:33
grueling. Four weeks of two games a week, or one every three to four days. Four weeks of that. It has to be tough, especially when we're down people. What about our former man of the match last week? What did you think about Cambridge's effort
Kara
26:49
today? I thought he did okay. I mean, obviously, we all had this big expectation for him. I think he's still just learning. You know what I mean? He came out there. I don't think he messed up. Don't think he had the confidence this game as he did last time, but that's a given. I thought it was odd but interesting that Latonzio had him switching sides. At one point I noticed he was switching sides and I thought that well, that's something that those experienced players do, you know what I'm saying? So the fact that he was doing that was interesting. He didn't make any shots and I think there was a couple of times when he got the ball and I just was like shoot it. But at we put so much expectation on him and we put so much pressure on him because we're like, you scored twice last week or two days ago, why can't you score more now? You know what I mean? But we got to realize this guy's going to go out there and he's doing the best he can, but he's not going to be 100% every single game. We have to give him a trial and error. Little grace, too. So I thought he did what he was told to do when he went out there. He didn't screw up. There was a couple of passes that I was like what's he doing? But that's going to come with time, too. It's going to come a feeling and experience. I still think he's going to be our breakout player, though, this year. Now

I'm looking forward to hoping he can play coming up here in the next match

he might start and I could see lady starting him in the US. Open cup. I could do that, yes. Just to get him some time and especially if Enzo I think after the game Latanzo said the reason he pulled Enzo when he did because I was shocked. I was like, oh, my God, he pulled actually pulled Enzo. Pulled Enzo because he said like a hamstring tightened. His hamstring tightened or whatever. So is that a precaution to protect him? Yeah, it depends on how that hamstring is. He might want to hold Enzo and not play him 90 minutes or whatever, start him in that US. Open cup. So 2s if it's that kind of an injury and they're worried, I think that Latanzio would err on that side and maybe give Cambridge that start because you could do that and then sub Enzo in, you know what I'm saying? Or we got some options off the bench during the US. Open cup if we needed to. Maybe Camille will be back, who knows?

I think he's still got some more time. I think the earliest one to come back is going to be Korujo which there's a very high chance we could see him on Wednesday for the open cup at 08:00 p.m..

I think he'll be at the legacy game. I'm going to go with that. I don't think that I just don't see Latanzio starting crujo out 1s in the US. Open cup. Dude hasn't played in six months.

They're playing Birmingham Legion. We won against them a few months ago. So I think that would be a great opportunity. We're not playing an MLS team, not that it's not the similar because Birmingham Legion is talented and won their competition last year, their playoffs. But I think it would be a great game to kind of get him some more minutes and see what happens there. But that comes up on Wednesday, May 24 at 08:00 P.m.. I hope you're going to be watching that

Flex. That's going to be tough. 3s I went to the nights game last night and I was actually sitting there watching the nights game, I guess watching what I do. I'm not a big baseball fan, so slow. I was watching the legacy. Game on my phone while I was sitting there watching the baseball game, and people are like, one of people was at me is like, Are you really watching soccer? I'm like yes. So I feel like that's what I'll do if I go to the Legacy Game, which I don't know if I'm going to go, but I think that's why I want Perujo to go there, so I can see him. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, I understand.

If I go to the Legacy Game, which is on a Wednesday night at 730 at the Metro, the Sports Flex in Matthews, then I'm going to watch the Show C game while I'm there. But if not, I can stay at home and watch two on different TV. So the options are there for you guys either way. You got a lot of stuff to watch on Wednesday night for Charlotte FC. So I wanted to just recap a few other news bits, maybe some from Leno Went last Wednesday before we wrap up. DJ is on six yellows. His next suspension rule, if he gets eight, then he's out for another game, and then the next two times would be at 1113 and 15. So it will get more increasing, but we need to watch for that. The next person in danger other than Capetti at five is Burn, now at fourth. So if Burn gets another yellow, he could be out for a match, which we've been playing him hard, so I can't fault him there. Also from this Wednesday's game, if you did not know, some players were fined as well as the club for amount unknown, four of them for arguing the fifth minute possible penalty. Byrne, Bronico, Westwood and Copedti were in the players that were fined for that and Bill Tuiloma for the 85th minute. They were all for either escalating or inciting a mass confrontation. So that's pretty rough considering the refereeing on Wednesday, but I just wanted to let you know about that. And so as we sign off today for this kind of tough match against Nashville that really felt like we should earn a tie, it's really kind of sad because last year's game against Nashville was when Carol broke his dry spell and that's when he launched into the crown chair and broke. It

was just an epic game. So 1s I was really hoping for something like that tonight. But we'll get there, we move on. We
Kara

do. And like LaTanza said, we got to just hope these guys doesn't take this too disappointing, that they brush it off, that we just go and move on. We got the Open Cup, then we got a way game next weekend. Actually, we got a lot of way games coming up, so we want to make sure that we continue to support our guys and let them know that we have their backs because it's going to be tough on them. It's a lot of gains, a lot of weight gains, we won't be there. Anyone that travels, thank you for supporting them. But anyway, I just have one thing before we wrap up. If you go to the games, here's my thing and just going to have little PSA from me. Please be respectful of everybody that's there. Respect the people that pay money to come see you, that sit behind you, that are around you. Don't throw beers at the players on the. Field. It's not worth you getting your PSL or your seat license taken away or your season tickets taken away, and it's just not a good look. So, on that note, I think that for the most part, everybody does a good job, but for those that don't, please don't ruin it. For all the other people that are coming in. Yes. And we'll just have to carry these positive attitude. Hopefully, this was the last home game for a bit. They'll be at Alabama and Birmingham Legion on Wednesday and on next Saturday at La Galaxy. And so we're about halfway

Yeah. And then it starts game game in June, but we'll go with the maze. We're going to do the maze first and we'll go on to June. So on that note, we hope everybody has a great week and thank you for listening. Good night.
