Hi, Anne Corbin, your Mind Body Spirit Mentor. I'm here with this week's episode of the mind body spirit connection. You are a complex being composed of 3 parts, mind, body, and spirit. Just get those 3 parts working together in harmony Anne upscale your life. I'm here to show you how. EASE is a greater threat to progress. Than hardship is. It's a threat to safety as well.

For people who don't see danger coming are the ones who don't change their behavior, who carry on as normal as if nothing is happening as if it's safe to bury their head in the sand as it were. And then suddenly there's news of an outbreak of a SARS type virus in China. You remember vaguely the original ours, maybe it was 15 years earlier, maybe you even have thoughts about bird flu, H1N1. That was a recent scare. Oh, Anne swine flu as well.

Few people died in that, but nothing like what was predicted. And they all went away, didn't they? So why should I worry about this new threat? And then, a mere 8 weeks later, almost the whole world in lockdown. We have to flatten the curve, we were told, in the UK. Lockdown Originally, was only meant to last 2 weeks because they thought the population would not accept a longer threat of imprisonment. We have to protect the NHS, we were told. Excuse me? I thought the NHS was there to protect us.

Nobody saw this coming, but in the next month, the National Health Service became the National COVID Service. They threw all the old patients out of their hospital beds, literally, into care homes to make room for patients who they imagined would be suffering from this new flu like disease. And the government ordered all of us to Anne. And we complied. They told us to trust the science, and a new ism was born. Scientistsism.

It wasn't recognized at the time because science and scientists used to command respect Will they ever regain it? They massaged the figures. The early death rate was high, but that was planned. Those old people thrown into care homes had been in hospital for a reason. They were very ill. So they died. And after that first wave, how, they, that is the government, going to a, maintain the death rate Anne thereby, be, maintain the fear.

They got a discredited scientist Neil Ferguson to come up with outrageously high death predictions, unless lockdown continued. Anne they maintained a crazy system whereby anyone who had tested positive for this flu like disease Anne died within a month of the test was countered as having died of COVID. Even if they died, of a gunshot wound or a catastrophic motorbike accident.

Before long, they had to make COVID test available to the public, and they used the PCR test, which even its inventor, Corbin Mullace, had said was useless for diagnosing any particular disease. And incidentally, he died suddenly under suspicious circumstances only a couple of months before the outbreak which we now know was planned. I'm summarizing obvious I've left out loads of important detail, and I'm aware of that. I'm just setting the scene for what I'm about to say about scientism.

But before I get there, there's a critical piece of the jigsaw that has to be included. The vaccines. Lockdown was declared in the UK on 23rd March 2020. We had to put up with masks with social distancing, with closure of most businesses no contact with family that didn't live in the same house, no attendance at funerals, especially no attendance in horse or care homes with relatives who were dying. The measures were draconian, and the majority of the population was scared witness.

That was the plan. And vaccination was held out to be the Holy Grail, the only possible answer that would rescue everyone from this horrible situation. Only how long does it take to develop and test a new drug? 5 years? 10 years? 15 years. Think about thalidomide, which was released without adequate testing back in the sixties. Never again, they said. How long do you allow for symptoms to show up when you're doing testing?

Now I'm not a doctor, but when vaccines were first made available, and in the UK, this was December 2020, 9 months later, and it was available even earlier in the US as a result of operation warp speed, of which Donald Trump is so proud, it was patently obvious that there had been no time for much testing at all.

Now, in the spring of 2021, I recall attending an Open Air lunch gathering it was held in a marquee in the garden of a local pub because that was the only kind of large gathering that we were allowed to have at the time, Anne I went along essentially for a networking opportunity. It was a pleasant occasion, a diversion from being cooped up inside after about lockdown number 3. And I was seated at a table for 6, Anne 2 of the others on the table were strangers.

The conversation moved around 2 vaccinations, and one of the people that I just met was a doctor, and her partner was involved in the production of vaccines. So I was very careful not to cause outrage or even upset at a pleasant lighthearted social occasion, but I gently asked questions about why testing wasn't considered necessary And weren't doctors concerned about the indecent haste?

Well, the vaccine distributor came up with double talk about vectors, which had already been thoroughly tested, and all they had to do was add specific components that had just been developed for COVID 19. No risk attached to those, of course. The man reminded me of a fast talking car salesman, and I just let him talk.

But then the doctor confirmed everything he said and went on to sing the praises of the stuffed shirts that we were also familiar with from the daily government COVID briefings, which I think were still ongoing at the time, because it was only a year after the first lockdown had been declared. I really have no idea when they stopped because I stopped watching them. Anyway, she rated one of those persons Very highly.

I don't recall the name, but presumably he was a doctor because she said she knew him personally. So clearly, therefore, it made him a reliable witness, didn't it? With a reference specifically to them, what exactly is an ism? Well, basically it's a state or a condition. And it can be a doctrine or a theory. Often a derogatory connotation is present as in the term jingoism, which is an aggressive form of patriotism Anne therefore bad.

Other good isms would be euphemism, altruism, Hinduism, and Buddhism, which of course come under the heading of doctrines, then there's narcissism, which is a condition, and if you call somebody a narcissist you're insulting them. Likewise, fascism, sadism, Marxism, Socialism, Socialism, Communism, so followers of any of these isms are whatever, ists, Communism, communist, Marxism, Marxist, and so on. So by the same argument, scientists, follow scientism. Now, here's a definition of true science.

Firstly, it's the observance of phenomena or a phenomenon. Secondly it's the collection of data. Thirdly, the creation of a hypothesis or theory by inductive reasoning. And fourthly, it's the testing of the hypothesis by repeated observation Anne controlled experiments. Guess what was missing with the COVID situation. Anne now follow the science as a phrase has forever been discredited because we were told to follow untested theories, hypotheses, and ideas.

Yes. We were following a doc trend comparable to a religion where you are supposed to do exactly what you're told without question and wholeheartedly. And didn't we perform well? At least we did the last time around.
