Hi, Anne Corbin, your Mind Body Spirit Mentor. I'm here with this week's episode of the mind body spirit connection. You are a complex being composed of 3 parts, mind, body, and spirit. Just get those 3 parts working together in harmony Anne upscale your life. I'm here to show you how. Just recently, for some reason, I recalled an advert from UK television from around 1985.
I think that was about the right date because I remember what house I was living in at the time, and this ad was for a newspaper, which I'm 90% sure was the guardian but I have no way of confirming that. Anyhow, the ad showed an unfolding scene from 3 or 4 different perspectives, as in imagine a great big wall painting where you can only examine a particular section at one time you Anne, I mean, your eyes can't take in the whole thing at the same time.
So In this advert, sequence, you saw something like a very disreputable young man grabbing a child roughly by the arm and pulling him into a doorway, then the scene cut to a sexy young girl with sunglasses long hair in the breeze, driving along with the street in a convertible, and she looks in the mirror, and suddenly there's a screech of and she puts her hands over her face.
And then there's another scene change, and you see some builders having a coke break or coffee break with a flask, they're a few stories up, you see scaffolding, and they're in builder's hats, and they're laughing and joking, and one of them acts indently pushes a coke bottle off a plank of wood where he'd balanced it, and it disappears from view. Now, the is wondering what on earth is going on. And then they play the scene or sequence slower and in order.
The guys on the building site cause a bottle to fall down to the street below. It falls on The windscreen of the girl's car, her hands go up to cover her face, she breaks Anne swerves, and the car would have hit the little boy, had punk rocker not pulled it out of the way, just in the nick of time. So the point of this ad was that you bought the Guardian, because of Corbin those days, we all used to buy newspapers daily, then you would get the full story. And then every in would make sense.
It was much clearer, I guess, than the scenario that I've just invented because my memory is good, but not that good, and I don't recall the exact story, unfortunately. So connecting all this with the Mindbody Spirit Connection When illness strikes, we need to treat the whole person and not just the body. In terms of mind, we have to consider not just the conscious or thinking mind, but also and very importantly, also, the subconscious.
Our feelings, beliefs, perceptions, biases, group consciousness, religious teachings, mindset, and even respect for authority all these things feed into the subconscious, some of it, frankly, is programming Anne the majority of us have no real concept of how strongly this impacts. On our health. And in addition, the spirit or the psyche has to be nurtured. In fact, it makes sense to work on this first. Your spirit is not the same as your subconscious.
Your spirit would equate to your supercon us. Corbin psychology, Freud introduced us to the terms the id, the superego, and the ego, which in theology would be the body, the mind Anne the spirit, or higher self, Anne then back to biology, I suppose, you would have the conscious, the subconscious, and the super conscious. Now conscious is the adjective from which the noun consciousness comes. But consciousness is not the mind. It's the awareness of being.
It's the underlying essence of everything To be conscious is to be awake or more precisely to be aware. As consciousness develops, we become aware of or awakened to a more complete pick of the situation, whatever situation as it really is. And this is the great awakening that's gathering pace right now. People listening to this podcast awakening. And gradually, we are beginning to perceive the truth about our presence here on earth.
Not withstanding everything that's been purposely hidden, but that is a topic for a future podcast. If you're interested, I repeat, do let me know in the Facebook group, wherever, what sort of topic you would be interested in my covering because I would really like to provide what you want. Oh, and I must just make a distinction between being awakened and being woke because the two things are polar opposites.
Woke to my my is a trendy and misguided and closed minded sinister position adopted by sections of society with issues that they prefer to blame on anybody but themselves, in other words, the generalized other or indeed to be very specific on people who are white or Christian or middle class or male or a combination all of the above. So back to treating the spirit, which I said was easier Anne treating the mind.
If you can develop a yoga practice or a meditation practice, these have enormous benefits. Many of us, indeed, feel that we don't have time, and there are too many other pressures, but If you start with small things Anne, well, it's always possible to start with quick sessions and work up to longer ones. Also, consider being kinder to yourself. All of us are apt to being our own worst critic. Do you have that nagging little voice in your head that criticizes everything you do?
Calls you an idiot or a halfwit or a bloody fool, or much, much worse, as in more offensive language. But stop. Stop when you notice yourself doing this because what good does it do? It's nothing more than a habit, and it is a habit that I have, which I try and address regularly, but it actually does more harm than good. Well, it does no good at all. But your subconscious tell the difference between your criticisms and criticisms from other people.
And indeed, when you get things right, congratulate yourself Anne give yourself little treats when you reach a goal, for example. It's really good to celebrate. It, it sort of sets up an expectation. And on the subject of goals, be careful when you set goals don't make them unattainable, or, you know, make sure you give yourself enough time to get whatever you're aiming because otherwise, you're setting yourself up for failure and disappointment Anne even depression. If it happens, too often.
Now, back to where I started with that story of the newspaper and seeing the whole picture. These days, most of us tend to get our news online, and the average attention span is just 7 seconds. People with time to spare spend time watching things like Netflix in fact, they can devote hours and hours to mind numbing box sets. I mean, they're great. They're they're wonderful entertaining, but they do take up time.
In the old days, people used to, get the same effect by watching the soap operas, and what even worse about the soap operas was. There's a little hook at the end of every episode to keep you coming back for more. At least Netflix box sets do come to an end. Now young people don't watch television anymore as in they don't watch what's being broadcast. They use the TV sets for gaming, other digital entertainment, Netflix, of course, and similar.
Mean, I am accustomed to recording the things I want to watch, and then, pressing the button oh, late in the evening when I've given up any kind of work, and I just award myself a bit of time off. The news, so called, still available on TV, and for many, particularly older people, this is and has been their main source of information for years. But things have changed. When did you last see a good news story on the main TV news?
I'm not talking about an interesting sting story, I'm talking about something that's uplifting and makes you feel good. They are very few and far between Sometimes the local news will come up with the odd feel good story, but that's not what main stream news is all about.
It hasn't been for years, and personally, I tend to watch a couple of minutes of deadlines Anne or twice a day just to keep abreast of what's going on, but, oh my goodness, I just haven't got the time to devote to these so called news bulletins because they aren't news bulletins. And newspapers, yes, they're still on sale, and the front pages still compete with rival papers for the most dramatic and most horrifying headlines because bad news sells.
The trouble is this ongoing campaign of bad news just keeps us miserable. And for the last, 20 30 years, maybe longer. I would say that since early 2020, the news has become a right, unadulterated indoctrination because that's when the 1% of the 1% put their plans into action to crush the global economy. By declaring a pandemic was going to hit every country in the world Anne then ensuring that it did.
If you've ever wanted an example of lockstep, that's a perfect one because why should the whole world declare the same thing at the same time in terms of shutting down the economy, I mean. So yes, occasionally, I will watch more than just the headlines but there's a terrible sameness to all these news bulletins. Every day, there are sitreps on the number of people who've been affected, how many are in hospital, how many have been died, etcetera.
And since when April last year, how many have been vaccinated. You notice we hear nothing at all. Nothing about the health of people who have had adverse reactions to the vaccines? That's what we all want to know about.
And when they tell you about the people in hospital who are classed as unvaccinated, They just mean people whose vaccinations haven't had time to give them protection the virus because you don't count as fully vaccinated until 2 weeks after you've just had your second jab or nowadays your booster, so the figures are skewed. And in my humble opinion, they've been skewed right from the beginning. Also, no dissent is allowed from the party line.
If you want real news, you have to find alternative Anne, like GB news on channel 236, that's still on mainstream. Then there's UK column news on YouTube, YouTube used to be alternative media, but the censorship now that's taken over YouTube is just beyond belief. And you to be really careful when you use words like vaccination or COVID or Anne. I believe there's a 4th Anne.
Oh, and you certainly can't mention 5 g. And that's criminal because 5 g is an experiment on Anne, it is terribly dangerous. There used to be plenty of, truthful information on YouTube I don't think it's there anymore, at least it's hard to find. Generally, you will see somebody standing up and saying, all this fuss about five she fears nothing to worry about. Not true. If you really want to know what's going on, you have to search.
So the main alternative platforms are rumble, bitchute, Odyssey, and Bright E. ON. There's also rows. His platform is called London Real, and he set that up specifically to help out David Ike when he was first kicked off YouTube Anne of course, David Ike has his own platform, which is called iconic. So the point of this dire tribe against the mainstream media is that I for 1 am absolutely convinced that it's been an orchestrated campaign to scare people to death.
Now I'm not saying, of course, that every death is a result of this terror campaign. And of course, I am totally mindful and have nothing but for those who've lost other treatments have more or less been on hold for nearly 2 years. And deaths from conditions such as cancer Anne kidney disease, just Corbin example, have multiplied off the scale. And yes, indeed, certain hospitals and staff have genuinely been under intense pressure, but that's a staffing issue.
Remember when they turned the Excel Center in London into a Nightingale hospital, and then suddenly about half a dozen or so popped up all over the country. I believe they called out the me to build those things. And of course, the engineers put them up really quickly. And then suddenly, the record Anne hit. Oh my goodness. We've got no staff. And quietly, those hospitals were all dispensed with.
Now if staffing really is an issue, and of course it is an issue, how can they declare that unvaccinated NHF staff will lose their jobs in spring this year. Oh, yes. That puts me in mind of the trucker's convoy, which is going on, as I'm recording this, right now in Anne, it's fantastic.
Millions have been contributed by the Anne you see these pictures of all the various convoys which are going to converge on Ottawa Anne the city of Canada who are so fed up with the status quo and the crazy laws that Canadians are being made to comply with all these citizens, you see them standing in freezing conditions, the snow on the ground, and they're all waving their placards and supporting the truckers. Have you heard anything about thi these truck convoys on mainstream news?
It's the truckers that keep the economy of Canada going, and they were all about to lose their jobs for not complying with the vaccination mandate. Now, How dare anybody make a mandatory situation out of a vaccination, which is risky. Wherever risk is present, freedom of choice is critical. And what might these experimental jabs duty or children, we mustn't let it happen.
