Do you see connections everywhere you look? Are you wondering about the great awakening and how it will affect you? Thanks for joining me, Anne Corbin and my guests. As we offer you different perspectives and analyses of current issues, together with advice on health, wealth, and relationships, as we navigate those storms together, not forgetting the systems available to us from metaphysics Anne our own higher selves. A previous podcast, I referred to that saying, what you resist persists.
And I pointed out that regrettably, what you don't resist persists also. Yes. People in this mind body spirit space are often dismissed by outsiders is a bit woo woo, but we aren't perturbed by that. There's a great deal more to us than meditation, Kumbaya, and unconditional love, partly because we've learned to go within ourselves as we seek the truth rather than depending on validation from other parties.
Many of us have a quiet confidence Anne the conviction that what might be presented as the right thing to do often isn't. And because We have the courage of our convictions, we have enough confidence in ourselves simply not to comply when we know something's wrong. Yes. Spirituality comes with a spine. And when you trust in the universe and you lead with an open heart, the power of intention alone can lead to amazing places.
It was thinking along these lines that caused me to reflect on all the many and varied outfits and institutions that I use to trust implicitly. But I no longer do. Life has become so much less comfortable and predictable in the last few years. And when I wrote the Mind Body Spirit Mentor, a subheading for, well, a subheading within Anne of the titles was Who do you trust?
And when I was gathering my thoughts on that subject, I was concerned only with writers of history and with the so called journalists who bring us the so called news. But Since the COVID story played out in full with lockdown and the recognition that As a society, we're being herded like sheep into a new and very unappealing way of life I made a mental list of all those areas that used to provide a reliable structure for life. That have now been exposed as untrustworthy. Oh, where to start?
There is that saying that trust takes years to build seconds to break and forever to repair. I remember when I first voted, I actually thought my vote murdered, and that it made an actual difference which party was elected. I confess that I recognize that so called democracy was a busted flush about 25 years ago, but I still believed that governments were there to do their best for their country, and their constituents, in other words, the people who voted them in.
And I'm speaking, of course, about the developed world. But now, just about all of us have sunk to the level of a so called Anne Republic. Computerization has made it unbelievably simple to rig elections. And postal voting is, well, it's inherently unsafe Apologies. Politics to the 4 as usual, but I'll now go on to cover all of the many other facets of life where I used to have blind faith, which has just been ripped away.
I used to think that we went to school to learn Anne to de discover where our talents were Anne therefore make an informed choice in the direction of a career or at least a life path. Back then, qualifications appeared to be worth working for because they, that is qualifications, would lead to security. I thought what we learned as history was a true record of the past. What is the truth about the cosmos and the shape and behavior of the earth?
We were never taught about Tataria, nor Tesla, and free energy, and certainly nothing about the financial system Anne how it's stacked against us. I did think that we spent too long at school, and I recognized that it was a sort of glorified nursery, But that it was helpful because it allowed parents to go out and earn a living. And then I also reflected on the fact that in previous generations, It was necessary for only one parent to go out to work.
But at least I trusted that What was presented as fact, was actually true. And since I was in the academic stream, that I was being trained to think rather than just to be a compliant member of society and a part of the system. I also trusted that the food sold in supermarkets was healthy and conformed to standards. Anne that it wasn't actually full of hidden or disguised ingredients that were actually there, with the intention of doing me harm. As a child, you are indoctrinated.
You are programmed. You're guided by parents and teachers. And even when they want the best for you, and you know they're spending money with the best of intentions. It is a fact that they themselves were programmed. They trusted. Anne they trained me to trust authority in all its different forms and without question. And you know the authority didn't even have to earn that trust. It was freely given by just about everybody, in the system. Doctor knows best.
He or she has had 7 years of training Anne I could rely on his or her diagnosis advice Anne whatever pills were dispensed, o m g. Doctors bury their mistakes, quote, unquote, That was an old saying of my Anne. But growing up, we trusted that in the 20th century, They were better regulated and better informed. It was another exciting day when I opened my first bank account. And I trusted that my money would be safe in there, that my financial affairs would be kept confidential.
And if I was able to tuck a little money away in savings, it would be there and still have value. When I chose to spend it. I trusted that investing in a private pension fund, which involved a certain amount of sacrifice or at least a choice, I imagined that that would de deliver according to the projections.
I didn't think that the government would apply a stealth tax so sneaky that no one would challenge it but that as a result of that government raid on pensions, the concept of the rich retired would no longer apply to persons of my generation. Thank you, Gordon Brown. And speaking of taxes, Didn't we all trust that our money would be spent on hospitals, airports, social services, highways, and the like Anne not diverted by the 1,000,000,000.
2, for example, an American war fought against Russia in Eastern Europe. Yet they expect us, they expect us to live in austerity ad infinitum year after year. When is it going to get better? There has never been enough money, it seems, in the past 30 years, for any of the different public sectors, whether it's defense or health or security, you name it, and yet, they can magic up billions when they want to. I didn't say when it was necessary.
I said when they want to, to support a foreign war that nobody actually cares about, apart from our glorious government. So When trust has gone in so many areas, what is going to hold society together? Famously, The police in the UK operated a policy of policing by consent. And of course, that also depended on trust. Do you recall on a very hot day during the first lockdown? Hawks of local people flock to the beach at Brighton, I think, or somewhere on the south coast.
And the police were powerless to get them to move away. Technically, yes, they were breaking the law, but it was an unreasonable law to put it mildly. Anne the police were outnumbered, all probably by 50 to 1, as a minimum. Non compliance made the police powerless. So remember, fascism isn't imposed by fascists It's imposed by a population mindlessly complying with the state and with authority.
Don't be part of that group who says yes to anything just because they're told to, and they don't think twice. Maybe they have no power to think, okay, don't judge them, but don't join them either. Then there's the other group. That goes along, not because they want to, but because they fear the consequences of standing firm. Either they're actually scared, or they're just in the habit of taking the line of least resistance. In other words, they're lazy.
How many people complied with the experimental COVID jobs? Because They feared that if they didn't, then they wouldn't be able to enter restaurants or wouldn't be able to fly for a while. Please, in the UK, vaccine passports were never actually introduced. And yet, many acted on a threat that wasn't even there. Of course, I'm not referring to the healthcare workers and various other employees who had to get vaxxed in order to maintain their jobs.
That was grossly unfair, and I'm totally on their side. But I'm I am referring to the people who still had a choice and yet jumped in without clinking it through. So Those two groups probably make up 70% of the population, but there is a 3rd group. The 30% who have the power to resist tyranny Anne end it. Who can see where the loss of freedom is going. Who Anne what's going on and see where it's likely to lead. And this is where we need to resist.
It's one of those cases where what we don't resist will persist. This is where we must refuse to cooperate. Stop being compliant. Break that habit if you haven't broken it yet. Just say no.
