Hi, Anne Corbin, your Mind Body Spirit Mentor. I'm here with this week's episode of the mind body spirit connection. You are a complex being composed of 3 parts, mind, body, and spirit. Just get those 3 parts working together in harmony Anne upscale your life. I'm here to show you how.

Recently, I was thinking about a game we used to play at school on those occasions when some kind of outdoor lesson like swimming or tennis was Anne due to bad weather, yep, it was Africa, but even so, sometimes we get of rain. I would have been around 10 at the time, I guess, and they would divide the class into 2 teams to keep us occupied. And I think we call this particular game broken telephone.

What it involved broadly was person a would be chosen to invent a sentence, which was supposed to be an instruction or something like that involving 2 or 3 things like maybe the name of a person who had to do or bring a thing to a certain place by a certain time, just for instance. And there would have been about, maybe 35, 40 of us in the class.

So player a would whisper this sentence just once into the ear of person b, probably at the front of the class, and then they would get up and walk up and down the rows of desks while the teacher would play some music. And when it stopped, person b would pass the message on to person c, who would then repeat the process.

Now the teacher would do sneaky things like ask the person walking around what time it was, or what they'd had for breakfast, just as she stopped the music, and before the player could deliver the message. Now sometimes the player would forget the message completely because when they got distracted by the question, they would answer it, and then their mind would disconnect from what they had intended to say, and then they'd be out of the game.

And they were allowed to go up to the front of the class and help the teacher by distracting the other people when it was their turn to deliver messages. So the point of the game would be partly to have some fun Anne keep the class occupied, but partly to demonstrate that gossiping was not a great idea, that you shouldn't trust rumors and that allowing yourself to be distracted would affect the quality of your work.

Apparently, We were told that they had quickly learned from experience in World War 1 that this method of communication, that is mouth to mouth, didn't work very well in the trenches. The story goes that an instruction Send Reinforcements, we're going to advance, got corrupted into send 3 and 4pence, we're going to a dance. I'm sure that's not true, but that was the story. Corbin case you're thinking at this point that I've lost the plot.

Anne what on earth has this got to do with a mind body spirit connection? I promise you it has everything to do with how our chakras communicate with Anne another. Now for listeners not particularly familiar with the chakras, just need to know that these are individual powerhouses of energy aligned along our spine. That is the main 7 of them.

If you look up, meditation Anne then click on images, you will see of pictures of figures in the Lotus position sitting with her legs crossed, and there will be 7 colored discs shown, or going up spine, and they'll be in certain colors of the rainbow, and that's not coincidental because their little vortices of energy Anne they're vibrating at different speeds. Now in an ideal situation, the chakras are in communication with each other.

That is each is connected with the one above and the one below. But for Chakra 1 to get a message right up to chakra 5, say that message has to pass from 1 to 2, then from 2 to 3, and from 3 to Anne finally 4 to 5. Sounds simple, doesn't it? Only it's not that straightforward because of, guess what? There are countless obstructions or distractions getting in the way. And what are the distractions? Well, have a guess. The causes are limiting beliefs, subconscious interference.

And that's why we refer to these things as blockages They block what's meant to be a super highway of communication. Think of a motorway or a freeway or an Autobahn, anywhere that traffic can flow without being interrupted by other traffic, because it's other traffic that slows down transit times on otherwise straight roads, right?

So they get rid of the junctions by building bridges and under passes Anne they usually divert the entire road to bypass towns and cities because that costs rather less than build a tunnel through a town, or even raising a whole section of road to get past suburbs and connect with selected routes within a city, for example, think big places like London and Glasgow. Now might be wondering why these little powerhouses need to be connected.

Well, the short answer is that our root chakra is there to connect us with earth energy. You know, we talk about grounding and being grounded. This is the detail behind that statement. It's our connection with nature, with mother earth, or the goddess, as some would have it. Anne the 7th chakra right at the crown is our connection to the divine. And this is what we aim to do when we pray. Yeah. And very often, that means just beseeching the creator for some favor or other.

So if you've forgotten about central channel briefing, I'll just remind you that I have a couple of PowerPoint videos on my YouTube channel so you can catch up with that. Oh, Anne that remind me, please like and rate this podcast Anne similarly with the YouTube channel because it's good for rankings and algorithms and stuff like that.

So in central channel briefing, we breathe cosmic energy down the channel runs parallel to the spine through the 4 anchor points and down to mother earth, then we breathe it up again, and now it's use energy. It's at a much lower useful vibration speed, and this is what we want to cycle around our bodies. Creating that even regular Corbin field that puts us in mind of a doughnut. Now that field can simply not regularize unless we sort out the energy flow between the chakras.

That's when it gets distorted and lumpy, and we get a distorted view of the world. So now let's consider the chakras themselves. What's the purpose of each Anne? And why should it matter whether or not it's in full working order, so to speak? Well, each chakra governs a specific area of our lives. I'm gonna quickly run through all 7, and then, I will spend time talking about each one in a bit of detail. So the first one is Muladara.

That's the root chakra or the first chakra, we color it red, and it's at the base of the spine. The very tip where our tails would be if we had one. 2nd one is Svanistana. That's the sacral chakra. It's just below the belly button. It's, represented by the color orange. And did I say that was the 2nd chakra? Next one is the 3rd chakra. That Anne, solar plexus. That's just below the ribs where they start to splay out.

It's color is yellow, and it's our power center, Anne means power of a 1000 suns, I think. Anne Hatta is number 4. That's the heart chakra. Its color is green, and not surprisingly, it's in the area of the heart. Number 5 is Vishuda. That's the throat chakra. Typically, it's where the throat is. Its colour is blue. Number 6 is the 3rd eye, the arjuna chakra or pineal gland. And its color is indigo.

It's behind the eyes in the center of the head in a place, a little gap in the brain called the cave of Brammer. And finally, chakra number 7 is the Sasurara, or the crown chakra, its color is violet or white sometimes. So 7 colors of the rainbow, same seven colors represent the chakras. And the chakras were first mentioned in the fader which are the sacred texts of the Hindus written around 1500 to 1000 BC.

People in the worst only began discussing them, really, as the new age philosophies gain popularity, and that would have been starting in around 1970, I believe, following on from the hippie movement And the word chakra itself is Sanskrit. That's the ancient language that the sacred writings were written in, and it means wheel.

So you can think of each chakra as a little spinning wheel or a vortex of energy, and that's how it's meant to operate when it's open, spinning freely Anne connected but when it's out of kilter, it affects our spiritual and physical Anne psychological well-being. So the root chakra, base the spine, is the first to develop, and it's open. More or less by the age of seven or so. This grounds you, connects you to earth energy, as I said earlier, compare it to a building's foundations.

Because it supports the whole rest of the structure. Broadly, each chakra opens during the 7 years or so of one's life, and they open up in order, but that's just a rule of thumb. Sometimes they never open. Fully at all. They are generally all open to some extent, or I should say they have the potential to be open by the time we are about 50. Now when the root chakra is not connected or when it's blocked.

And in many people, it isn't connected, then this will show up as arthritis, constipation, other issues with the colon, the tissues down there, irritable bowel syndrome, and also psychologically feeling insecure about basic needs and especially finances. Chakra number 2 is the sacral chakra. Its color is red. It's generally open by the mid teens. It's referred to as the Wisdom Center. It governs pleasure, creativity, sexuality, not surprisingly, because that's where those organs are located.

And the physical results of blockages are lower back pain Anne urinary tract issues. Emotionally, this chakra governor's feeling of self worth, especially around pleasure and creativity, it's also the center for intuition, you know, real gut wisdom. I hope you're finding information as interesting as I do. I just wish I'd known all this stuff as I was growing up. Instead of investing years of my life and 1000 of pounds on studies that definitely were not worth it.

This is far more important, how to really inhabit our bodies Anne enjoy the ride. It isn't taught at school, mainly because I think educationalists just don't know about it. But on reflection, knowing what I know now about the people who designed the curricular, they will probably suppress it intentionally because they really don't want us knowing too much. So the 3rd chakra is Anne. It's in the region of the solar plexus, just below the ribs.

The Sanskrit word means a 1000 sons, and it's our personal power center, so it governs self esteem, self confidence and feelings of that nature. Blockages result in eating disorders, ulcers, heartburn, indigestion Again, all the imbalances of that area of the body. The 4th chakra is the heart That's called Anne. Not surprisingly, it governs love and compassion Anne our ability to love and connect with others.

When it's blocked, you would get heart problems, not surprisingly, also asthma because it's the general area of the lungs Anne weight issues. Also, feelings of loneliness, insecurity, and general isolation. Now we talk about the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chakras as being our core. And the upper 3 will not be functioning if the links between the lower ones haven't been well established, and it's establishing these links that I'm talking about when you hear me say building circuits.

Chakra 5, the throat chakra is the manifesting Jakra. This government's communication both ways, both how we hear and understand and how others hear us when we try and communicate with them. In other words, how well you are able to express yourself? Issues in this of this nature show up in many ways, it Anne be even compulsive gossiping, like too much talking, dominating the conversation, or the exact opposite being afraid to speak up. Or upsetting people every time you open your mouth.

I know a few people like that, being afraid to express your opinion, which these days seems to be known as speaking my truth, which always makes me laugh a bit. Jagrosix is in the head. That's the pineal gland, also known as the 3rd eye. It's considered to be the center for ESP, extra sensory perception, special powers, and intuition, but no, not on its own.

It worked in conjunction with the other chakras because it's gut feelings, gut wisdom intuition, which would be transmitted up from the second and third chakras, and then work in conjunction with the 6 chakra. This one tends to become cal suffied through lack of use or lack of knowledge, basically, but it's also, as a result of toxins in our diet and in our surroundings, notably from fluoride in the water. Which is very dangerous. It's not good.

There's nothing good to be said about it, and they're planning to floral to chlorinate the water in the UK. This year. Other issues show up where people seem detached from reality or alternative, they have no it all attitudes. Headaches, with sight Anne concentration Anne hearing issues also indicate problems with the pineal gland. And finally, chakra 7. This is our chakra of enlightenment, connection with the divine. Connection to our life purpose or our sole purpose Anne to our spirituality.

When the 6th chakra is blocked, then it can show up as pigheadedness, stubbornness, being skeptical and narrow minded. So I've gone at quite a clip through, great deal of information, really, but my intention only was to give you an overview of what the chakras are, what they're responsible for, and why it's really worthwhile, knowing about them.

So friends, that wraps up the mind body spirit connection for this Let me know, please, if there are any specific subjects that you would like me to include in a future podcast, join me. Same time next week, or connect with me anytime on social media.
