True personal growth ultimately will lead to fulfillment. And it's my intention with these podcasts to connect more deeply with you. Thank you for joining me and Corbin and my guests and welcome to this episode. Have you noticed the absolutely crazy amounts of fear mongering going on at the moment? I don't follow mainstream media as I've said many times, but that doesn't mean that I'm an ostrich.
I do talk to people and I notice newspaper headlines when I pass them in shops, and of course, I'm kept informed of important developments by various alternative channels mainly via Telegram. And I've recently become very aware of rising levels of anxiety amongst friends and particularly younger people who, well, frankly, they're being targeted because they don't seem to have, well, they don't have the more robust filters in place that we older more experienced folk rely on to keep us sane.
You'll certainly remember the information overload, well really I should say propaganda overload, that we were subjected to daily and indeed before those lockdowns. That was Project Fear on steroids and under the guise of keeping us safe quote unquote we were threatened with dire consequences if we didn't follow their crazy rules, oh which kept on changing if you remember because confusion was always part of the plot and the whole point was that scared people do what they're told.
And I'm not talking legal consequences here although of course they were in place and weren't they enthusiastically enforced by overzealous little Hitlers. I'm talking fear of not going near other people, catching this unseen threat. Infecting Granny, that was a disgraceful, terror tactic. It was unforgivable. Anyway, no further details needed on this front. It's just a reminder of how so many were duped and how we all complied and how disgusted we all were when the truth came out.
It was a gigantic hoax. So much so that more recent scares about monkeypox and an Ebola type virus have just died a death. They never gained any traction. Oh, but those folks they keep trying. Recently a Yorkshire publication was urging people to go back to wearing masks because a quademic of four different viruses was causing people to fall ill in some areas. Oh and how's this for scaremongering? From the Daily Star on the February 13.
WHO confirms outbreak of deadly virus that kills half the people it infects. And then if you read the sub headline, not even the small print, the sub headline reads the WHO is now monitoring two clusters of infection with one death confirmed. Well if one death equals half the people then these two outbreaks mean two people fell ill. If the WHO labels this as an outbreak why should anyone anywhere take them seriously? The trouble is, for us in The UK, our government does exactly that.
I recall seeing somewhere that it was reported cats euthanized after testing positive for bird flu. I simply don't believe it. That is I don't believe that the cats got bird flu. I have no no faith in those tests anyway. I think bird flu is another hoax designed to devastate chicken farming. Kill off millions of chickens, cause the price of eggs to skyrocket, and eventually if they have their way remove eggs completely from our diets.
Oh, not to mention devastating another way of life for chicken farmers. So why would they want to do such a thing? Well eggs are highly nutritious, a great great source of protein and vitamins, they're easy to cook, they're versatile, and in the past eggs were were very affordable. We had one day of very high winds in Scotland and Northern England last month, and the Edinburgh evening news reported Edinburgh in lockdown as schools and businesses close due to extreme wind.
Lockdown is a very emotive word these days and a one day closure does not fit the description. And how about this one? We're supposed to worry now about snakes taking up residence in our attics. Yes in The UK. This is a story in an LBC that's the London Broadcasting Corporation an LBC post which runs as follows The Ace Calapean snake, which can grow up to two meters in length, has established a healthy population in parts of North Wales and in London.
The headline for this article was Europe's biggest snake thriving in The UK and living in people's attics. I saw a clip within a larger documentary type video about something called planetary defenders and this is a multinational collaboration apparently between space programs such as NASA which is dedicated to asteroids which are a threat to the earth. A number of serious looking scientists were describing what would happen if asteroids of particular sizes should by chance hit the earth.
Now the documentary didn't exactly make it clear whether this outfit was for real or whether it wasn't, but truly it looked more like a trailer for a disaster film. And I know that there have been disaster films about asteroids in the past and about near misses. I haven't seen any of them. I think one was called Armageddon, but I'd say they all fit under the label of predictive programming.
If this clip was from a genuine official documentary, well this is merely a timely reminder that the very word NASA n a s a which is a Hebrew word actually means to deceive. And NASA was created by the CIA and the Germans of course those folks from world war two who were relocated not so secretly to The United States under project paperclip. Wernher von Braun is probably the most famous among them because he will forever be associated with the so called moon landings in 1969.
A very few years after that, 1977 to be exact, Hollywood made a film called Capricorn one about a space expedition which was cancelled at the last minute because of safety concerns. And to save face, the folks in charge filmed the whole thing in a remarkably handy film set. This was all to keep the pretense alive that the mission to Mars or wherever it was had really happened.
Now surely people who saw that film in the late seventies must have wondered whether the moon landings had really happened? We ask questions now like, how did President Nixon manage to have a phone call with the astronauts when there were no satellite phone connections and automatic dialing codes like we have now? In 1969, you would have had to book what was called a trunk call between two moderately distant cities, such as, for example, Edinburgh and London.
And these calls would have to be booked several hours in advance. I appreciate, of course, that Africa was somewhat behind the times when it came to technology, but I was working for Lonrow in Salisbury in 1981, and we still had to use advanced booking for calls between Salisbury and Johannesburg even then.
I believe it's now well known that insider Stanley Kubrick was commissioned to film the entire Apollo moon landing sequence in the Nevada Desert, and 2,001 A Space Odyssey apparently served as his audition for the task. And of course he passed with flying colors and got the job. WikiLeaks apparently released numerous cut scenes and outtakes where you can see the shadows of the folks doing the filming along with king sized shadows of I guess they were actually still cameras.
Didn't anybody wonder at the time who was doing the filming when only two men supposedly went down to the moon's surface. There are continual reports now that the ISS, that's the International Space Station, is another giant hoax. And although shots we see of weightlessness and women astronauts hair standing on end, that is because of zero gravity, that although shots are just fakery.
There is evidence we're told that many scenes are filmed underwater where the same sort of floating about action is a natural consequence. But why? Why go to all this trouble to kid us about the International Space Station? Only this morning I saw an utterly ridiculous but totally real looking clip of Donald Trump and Elon Musk in the Oval Office and Trump was sucking Musk's toes. Truly, that's what the clip showed.
Well, when the subject matter is that ludicrous, you just know that it isn't real. But here's the challenge. How do you tell what's real and what isn't when the subject matter is serious and presented by a reliable source who themselves have been misled in some way? I recall a rather good TV mini series called The Capture which was about CCTV footage being edited and comprehensively altering evidence used to convict an innocent man.
I think I watched it during lockdown and then I checked and found that it dates back to 2019. So pass, maybe it was a repeat but that doesn't really matter. The leaps and bounds in technology and AI even since then have just been exponential which means we must be very skeptical regarding anything presented in film, video, DVD format and so forth.
Now I'm not a % certain but I think it was in this series, and there was a second series of the same thing so maybe it was in that one, that there was a thoroughly decent black politician who had upset the wrong people and who had recorded an interview for some extremely reputable TV program such as Newsnight.
The villains got hold of the in interview somehow so that the version which was broadcast showed the poor soul saying things that utterly ruined his reputation and his chances in some upcoming election or whatever it was that the plot contained. And we saw, well known actual UK TV Personalities scrabbling and trying to stop this broadcast going out as people were advising them that it was a load of hot wash and they couldn't do anything about it.
So I make the point again, it's getting harder and harder to recognize fact from fiction. You can't trust your own eyes. Once trusted news sources are at least biased and at worst downright untrue. We supposedly had riots in numerous big cities in The UK last summer and these were gleefully reported on TV news programs, but to me they lacked credibility.
It felt sort of deja vu because one riot looks much like another and I believe that the riot stories were cooked up to distract from the many peaceful protests that were genuinely happening, caused by older citizens who just don't do violence and their protests were about subjects as diverse as excess immigration, fifteen minute cities which we do not want and they're trying to force them on us, and oh of course the government's withdrawal of the winter fuel allowance from pensioners.
That fuel allowance is not very high, but for many of them, it's a lifeline. Does the government care? Does it snow on Christmas day in The Sahara? Okay. It's definitely time to stop for now. I'll continue this theme of hoax and hoodwinking in future podcasts, possibly even in next weeks, but until then, please don't believe the scaremongering.
