Hi, Anne Corbin, your Mind Body Spirit Mentor. I'm here with this week's episode of the mind body spirit connection. You are a complex being composed of 3 parts, mind, body, and spirit. Just get those 3 parts working together in harmony Anne upscale your life. I'm here to show you how.
Very recently, I happened to rewatch, a fairly short video clip, which succinctly reminded the viewer of something special that sets man apart from all the other animals, and that is that we have awareness Our brains process things differently. We're aware of ourselves. We reflect Anne we make connections, and we spend time thinking about the future. That brings up another thread. Which has been very obvious throughout history, and that is that we fear death.
And of course, this makes us Controllable. And who do you think does that controlling? No. It's not some higher power or some invisible force. It's other human beings. You might be thinking, well, animals fear pain, don't they? They somehow instinctively know that they're about to be killed, for example, when they're going through the them. Well, yes, of course they do, but that's in the moment.
They have very little sense of tomorrow, and they certainly don't worry about the future the way we do. They don't make plans. You can't threaten a cow with taught or a sheep with death, and you can't make them more productive with threats of what will happen if they don't produce more meat or milk, or, I mean, they've, you know, failed to grow fatter, or, sheep fails to grow a thicker coat.
You can, of course, train circus animals to perform through the use of pain because they will remember that but they need a reminder of it, like they need to hear the crack of a whip or, the sound of a whistle, something like that, and then they'll perform. But they don't have imaginations, and we do. It's our greatest gift, but at the same time, you could consider it our greatest curse.
It wasn't Mark Twane, who first said this, but he's famous for the comment that he'd had a vast amount of circumstances to worry about in his life, and some of them had actually happened. Suppose you think of human society as a series of farms where human farmers own human livestock. I think for a minute of George Orwell's less Amar's book that was called Anne Farm.
I believe it was written for children, certainly I read it a very, very long time ago, Anne, I think the most famous concept in there was all animals are equal but some are more equal than others. And it was, a kind of a satire on communism, but that's just a little aside. If you think of the government, regardless of which party is in charge, it makes no difference. That's all just for show. It makes you think that you're participating in some kind of choice when you vote in elections.
Now you might think that overall, governments have the well-being of the population as well as the orderly regulation of public services, as their central reason for being. If you do think that, wakey wakey. This is the illusion.
Yes. In the developed world, they use some of your taxes to provide health care and water and roads and other services, and they have to carry out some of these functions, but they're all covered up in spin and smart talking, they use phrases such as improving citizen services, increasing Anne. What does that mean? They talk about modern frameworks and smarter end to end solutions. And of course, nobody really knows what they're talking farmers provide health care.
They provide irrigation Anne, indeed, training for their livestock, but they might use a dog to control their sheep, but it's all for a reason there's a purpose. And humans strangely enough, don't even need a sheepdog. They can be relied upon to police themselves. So The majority of the population is under the illusion that the government provides us with freedom. Exactly how free have you felt over the last 2 years when healthy people were locked up and isolated in a huge experiment.
Truly, it was just to see how controllable we were. It was an experiment in compliance, and of Corbin, control by fear. Everything that farmers provide for their livestock or their, their crop growing activity is done for one reason, and that's to get a higher yield. For example, if you plant seeds a little bit further apart, then the plants have got space to grow bigger.
Anne if you keep your livestock in slightly bigger pens or fields where they can move around a bit, then this will result in a better meat or milk yield Anne so on Anne so forth. So slavery, such as existed in Egypt, and the Roman empire, and the American colonies, has long since been abolished. But that was overt slavery, which involved legal ownership of individuals. This is now seen as unacceptable and quite right, too. Oh, but control of other humans is very much still with us.
The control is just less overt. And I'm not, at the moment, even talking about the trade in human people, as in trafficking of adults and very much of children. But that is such a huge topic, I'm no way gonna cover it at this point anyway. In the middle ages and the dark ages, Pessence were allowed to farm their own little pieces of land. And for the privilege of doing that, they had obligations to pay rent to their lords, not their landlords, but the lord of the Anne.
And They enjoyed a sort of freedom, but they had absolutely no choice of Anne. That was the system, the feudal system. And eventually, it broke down. It gave way to the enclosure system. Where the peasants who suddenly no longer had land on which to live and produce their food They were forced to move into towns, and agricultural and farming methods began to change significantly, and they got more productive because they got more organized.
These new systems led to higher yields, from the same amount of land, but the lives of the poorest were becoming vastly more miserable. Next week, I'm going to discuss the industrial revolution Anne the changes that came about through that. But today, I'm talking about the movement of people Anne indeed was in fact an oversupply of labor And when you get an oversupply of labor, then the demand for labor is exceeded Anne prices go.
Down. In the countryside, there Anne reopeners and the merchant classes, and all of these wealthier types were employing the servant classes plus of course, the factory owners needed workers to operate their machinery. And again, no matter what, area we're looking in, there was an oversupply of cheap labor. And these folks would have been among the very first wage slaves. I have no idea when that expression came into use, but I suspect it wasn't all that long ago.
In history, wherever you look There are always the farmers that is the controllers and the farmed. That is the wage slaves who live under the illusion of choice. In England, income tax was introduced to pay for the Napoleon wars, and it was supposed to be temporary Anne emergency measure. Until, of course, the government realized it was onto a good thing. And so the emergency never ended. As soon as you earned just a little more, you would find your self paying tax.
And tax right now in the UK is the highest it has ever been, but because rates of income tax appear to be low. Anne, corporation tax appears to be a low rate. Many perhaps don't realize how badly taxed we are, but there's tax on everything.
There's VAT, there are employment taxes, and has for the duty on fuel, which is paid twice, there's fuel duty, and then on the tire cost of the fuel, there's VAT, and as fuel is going through the roof at the moment, even more VAT is going to the government There's a huge fiddle going on with fuel, actually, which I'm just going to talk about for a sec. Right now, petrol costs $2 a liter.
And the government's blaming the war between Russia and the Ukraine for pushing up the cost of a barrel of oil to £96. In June 2008, a barrel of oil cost, £109. That's 100 and 9 compared with 96 which is the current cost. And back in 2008, we were paying for a liter of fuel just £1 19. Back then, 50% of the cost that we paid went to the government in fuel duty and VAT. Where is all this extra money going now? There's tax on everything, and a lot of it is so called green taxes.
We don't see them, but they're there. Anne it's one of the reasons why electricity is going through the roof. This is way beyond alarming in my opinion. Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. I don't know who said that, but it cropped up in this video I was watching. We are quietly losing the few freedoms we had left because cleverly, we've been lulled into a false sense of security.
It reminds me of that tale of the boiling frog, which apparently is rubbish, but if you put a frog in warm water and raise the temperature gradually, he won't notice he won't jump out and you'll get to death. However, if you put a healthy frog straight into very hot water, he'll be out immediately Anne no chance of cooked frog. So we have a few freedoms left because they're profitable to our owners, but we no longer have the right to protest We are no longer innocent until proven guilty.
Very few trials now involve a jury, and we do not any longer have the right to privacy. In the UK, for many years, we've been the most surveilled people in the west. China, of course, is in a class by itself, but, even here in the UK, you can be detained for long periods without charge. And in the u the US with Guantanamo and so forth, well, I won't even go into that, but we all know what's going on.
Now, our freedoms were being dismantled be for the psychodynamic, it's all part of the long term and well advanced plan being executed by the World Economic forum, and it strategically placed young leaders. You know, I mentioned in a previous podcast that all these well known names started off their illustrious careers by becoming young leaders of the future or whatever the term was in the World Economic Forum. Names you might recall are Tony Blair, Boris Johnson, Gordon Brown, Angela Merkel.
Nicola Sarkozy, Emmanuel Anne, Just into Ardern. Just in Trudeau Anne, of course, Vladimir Putin. Incidentally, Bono and Branson are also on the list, but they clearly decided not to go into politics. So the government our farmers know that we're difficult to control by force. So it's been very cleverly done. And the programming starts when we're at school. And it continues as we progress through higher education at what we choose to do.
And those of us who then pursue careers in business or find jobs or become entrepreneurs, end up being controlled by debt, and the governments also carefully create a class of pendants. These might be people who don't work at all. In some families, we're now up to the 3rd generation of people who don't work.
So they depend on the state for their income, and they're quite happy to do that, but there's also the, the, the sort of the lower scrata of people in paid employment who are paid so badly, and this is allowed because it's been designed so that they have to rely on the government to top up 20 years ago, the idea being that the more people who depend on the government for their livelihood are more likely to vote in that particular government who is more generous in the next election.
And these two groups of people, the self sufficient, shall we say, and the supported, they are encouraged to despise one another. This is called divide and rule, and these divisions are becoming more and more apparent everywhere. They're stirred up at every opportunity. We have black against white, male against female, labour against conservative, UK against Europe, Brexit, leave, or remain. Independence in Scotland, 4 and against young against old It's just us against them wherever you look.
Because divided populations don't fight back. They're too occupied by distractions, silly distractions, but it's all intentional. And of course, some of the animals are even put on the farmer's payroll so that when other dare to speak out about hypocrisy or immorality in any situation, such as the foreign aid propping up distant wars instead of looking after the population within the country, Yeah.
I am talking about Ukraine and Russia, and all the people in England who are living, sorry, the whole of the UK, who are living below the red Anne. We're the people who need to be supported, and those of us who used to be well off are facing ever rising expenses. It's crazy, but the voices crying in the wilderness are quickly shut down. The farmers have the animals controlling each other. And then while the animals are subdued and anxious, Let's introduce an external threat like a virus.
I'll say no more about that for now because we're out of time. My theme today has been awakening and awareness. The first steps to breaking out of our invisible cages is to recognize that they are there. We aren't animals we are or should be powerful human beings, and we all need to play our part. Your voice needs to be heard, so get out there Anne spread the word.
