The Thing - Commentary

The boys are riding out the end of winter by sipping on some scotch and snuggling up with a comfy film about a paranoid group of fellas that discover a flesh absorbing, human mimicking alien that just might end all of humanity. It's John Carpenter's the Thing! A film that underperformed at the box office and was critically panned by critics upon its 1982 release but has since gone on to be considered an American classic and one of Logan and Dustin's favorite films.
