Pre-Convention Workshop: How To Intervene in Difficult Situations

QPAT, in collaboration with Elaheh Bos of Plant Love Grow, will be presenting an all-day pre-convention workshop on Thursday October 14.

This workshop is designed for new teachers, however it is open to all as the topic is pertinent no matter what stage a teacher is at in their career.

Description: Practical tools and strategies to use when faced with difficult situations. Explore QPAT’s new guide: Suggestions and Guidelines How To Intervene in Difficult Situations. Participants will also partake in a Meet and Greet with union leaders. Enjoy a fun day of learning exercises and hands-on activities. This workshop will be presented in English.

Although there is no fee for this workshop, teachers must apply to their local PIC to receive funding to cover the substitution costs for this day.
