SCI Talk gets sticky but we get in very sticky in it
Aren't you luckily we are already back to wrap up the G1 and talk about the wrestling angle of the year
Whoops forgot to write something here LOL. Well we talk about G1 & a whole lot more.
Starting off a new series of shows here on the We Don't Know Wrestling feed! The Desert Island Comp series (working name) will have me sending off a wrestling pundit to a deserted island. The catch is, they get to take with them a compilation of up to 10 matches and up to 3 promos, angles, vignettes, etc. The first person I am sending off to a deserted island is Tom Batista, host of the Military Industrial Suplex. We discuss his 9 matches and 3 promos! With that, we go through the process of the...

The catch is, they get to take with them a compilation of up to 10 matches and up to 3 promos, angles, vignettes, etc. The next person I am sending off to a deserted island is Quentin Moody, host of Psychology is Dead. In the end, it is always Tanner. One of the hosts of the Match of the Week Club, Tanner, is being sent to a deserted island with only a disc of ten matches and three segments on hand. A disc that features surprises, violence, and an American hero.
The Baes are back in town here to talk about the biggest weekend in the history of wrestling, who are the DDT four pillars, & of course G1 all G1 all the time
Quentin Moody (@qt_moody) and Brock Jahnke (@NotBrockJahnke) chat about the ongoing WDKW2010s poll, covering the best that wrestling had to offer in the 2010s. Together they discuss the larger trends of the decade, how fandom has changed during that time, and the cases of Negro Casas, Sasha Banks, Sami Callihan, and everyone in between. Join the discussion on the WDKW forums: https://wdkwrestling.freeforums.net/
Back with some big talk about GCW backyard show & the opening night of G1 in Dallas. Plus lots of random thoughts about other stand outs for 2019 wrestler of the year.
This week on We Don't Know Wrestling, Quentin Moody joins me to discuss where we are at for the 2019 WDKW100. Fair to say...the year hasn't made enough of impression quite yet to TRULY say. We talk about what we've enjoyed, who is sticking out, build out some narratives, and I feel about not watching more lucha so far.
back at you with a whole lot of random topics. It takes a bleak turn but if you want to hang with the clowns sometimes you have to drink the tears
Realizing as I'm typing this that I need to put the first four episodes of this series in the feed, Chris from IVP Videos joins me to talk about the matches he wishes to include on his Desert Island Comp. He is someone that if you have been a fan of wrestling for a certain period of time probably have bought DVDs from to watch some Japanese wrestling. So obviously his list is filled with Japanese wrestling? Listen to this week's episode and find out.
Tacko Fall Paahn Kloub is here to talk to you about the news of the week especially the sad shit. We talk about dead guys, dead ROH, & dead NJPW fans. We also talk about a good match hidden inside of a bad match on a SUP show and the SCI dream match ups. Don't forget to get into WDKW2010 and like did you know that Finn Balor/Fergal Devitt is probably #1? I sure as shit didn't see that coming. #freelars
****FIXED**** #Squad goals we talk about NJPW Dominion. Is Jericho the best lucha brawler in the world? Run down the G1 blocks and probably say something inappropriate
Just when you thought it was dead it’s back the Brexiteers are here to talk about the 2019 MoTY but it’s not the one you’re thinking of (it’s from NXT?)
We Don't Know Wrestling has been going on way too long. I've definitely been podcasting for too long. This whole thing is a lot. So I pulled together some of my favorite clips from the past few years to celebrate this dumb milestone. These probably aren't everyone's favorite moments but these are the moments that made me smile, chuckle, ugly cry while going through the old episodes. Hope you enjoy.
The Wokebaes are here to bring you even more hot Mox talk and they even throw down some *s on AEW Double or Nothing for all the match rating lovers *art credit to omegaliciousss on tumblr*
The M8s are here to bring wrestling talk back from the dead.
Doing what we do whenever there is a sizable shift in the We Don't Know Wrestling structure...Tanner and me have a conversation that poorly sets the tone for what's to follow. We talk about movies, games, CONTENT, and wrestling...I guess. We had fun and hope you have fun listening to it.
I went solo this episode...because I didn't put much effort into getting a guest this week. I go over thirty minutes and I keep running my glass jaw. I talk about a cool podcast and cool future wrestling website. I talk about a three-year-old project. I talk about the WDKW100. I talk about CODE OF CONDUCT. I let you know I'm selfish. Good stuff all around.
Skylar joins me this week to reminisce about the greatest wrestling podcast ever, chat about his WDKW100 progress for 2018, and why computers are bad.
After a hiatus brought on by the WDKW100, it only seemed fitting that the return featured a discussion about Dylan Hale's WDKW100 ballot. We break down his ballot block by block as well as discuss how some of his picks fit into the big picture. After hours of discussing the ballot itself, we also talk some overall thoughts on the list and what could potentially be improved next year.
When I decided to do a podcast on the best lucha wrestlers of 2017 I knew there was only one person for the job. When they couldn't make it I was glad JR Goldberg could come on (jk jk). We go through the weird year lucha has had, talking up our favorite blood hungry mythical creatures of the year. Talk about the change in accessibility in lucha as well.
Indie wrestling in the United States can be a bit of a mixed bag. A lot of it feels the same, at least the wrestling that gets noted on social media. Then some you get some weird concept promotions. Occasionally you get actually good pro wrestling companies that use mostly local talent. AAW in 2017 had two territories that used a mix of strategy 1 & strategy 2, with each territory having a different split. On this episode of We Don't Know Wrestling, I talk to Bucky, first-time guest, about t...
Can't shake him, Tanner is back with first time guest Tom Batista of Military Industrial Suplex fame. A real slow burn of an episode as elements of the race for the Senate in Alabama seeps into the episode. We obviously disgust wrestling and how it is confirmed terrible. Truly nauseating.
Kevin Brown joins me in an episode dedicated to The King. Thank you Nick Gage for all that you have bestowed upon us. The grace you give can never be repaid. We were made in your image. We also talk about what's happening in pro wrestling right now which may involve wrestling being a cesspool.
Knew I needed to do a joshi primer for the WDKW100 but knew I only wanted to do it with one person so glad Alex could come on to discuss some of the candidates for 2017. Granted, you can find a lot more information on her Beginner's Guide to 2017 Joshi but I like to think the show does add some different perspectives for you. If you could leave a rating and review on iTunes that would be great!
JR Goldberg joins me this week for what was going to be a Halloween episode and then breaks down to talk of Necro Butcher and CZW being weird. This is why I don't plan anything.
Original formula is back as Tanner and I shoot the breeze on the 69th episode of We Don't Know Wrestling. Very philosophical episode as we discuss our growth as not just fans but people. Little light on wrestling as we do briefly talk about the weekend #BigMike is participating in. Not much else though. To imagine this was supposed to be a Halloween episode.
