This podcast is a version of Or Does it Explode read by the author himself. Or Does it Explode is a continuation of A Raisin in the Sun By Kentaro M. Lafleur. It tells the story of what happened to the Younger family, an African American family after they moved to Clybourne Park Chicago, a mainly white neighborhood. This is a continuation of the play A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry.

Cast of Characters:

Ruth: a middle aged woman, mother of Travis and wife of Walter Younger

Travis: a little boy, son of Walter Younger and Ruth

Walter Younger: a middle aged man, father of Travis and husband of Ruth

Lena Younger (Mama): an elderly woman, mother of Walter and grandmother of Travis

Setting

Time: around the 1960s, when Martin Luther King Jr. Gave his I Have a dream speech and when the march on Washington protest took place.

Place: Clybourne Park, Chicago and Washington D.C., when the march on Washington protest happens.
