Episode description

In our second podcast of the week, we take an in-depth look at James Mangold’s outstanding superhero drama Logan, the last film to feature Hugh Jackman’s iconic performance as Wolverine. We think this is, simply put, one of the best films the genre has offered to date, a thoughtful, emotional, and surprisingly timely film that breaks most every rule in the Hollywood blockbuster playbook. There’s a lot to break down, especially considering that Logan essentially marks the end of an era that stretches all the way back to 2000, when Jackman first played the role. Spoilers aplenty in this episode, so be sure to see the movie first.
