Dr. Gurbaksh Singh Bhandal, born on 2 April 1953 to father Channan Singh and mother Pritam Kaur in village Bhandal Bet in Kapurthala district of Punjab.
He has done MSc in Physics and PhD in Nuclear Science. He has taught Physics in colleges for 33 years. Dr. Bhandal has contributed 22 books to Punjabi Literature. He is also Prof. in Physics at Cleveland State University, Ohio (America).
