There is an ongoing need to explain public health to the general public. Although it can feel  frustrating at times, this provides us the opportunity to get creative in working to meet this need. Additionally, it provides us with a number of ways to demonstrate our thought leadership, build genuine relationships with people, and grow our networks. In this episode, Dr. Charlotte Huntley together with three innovative and forward-thinking panelists, Zainab Shipchandler, LaShonda Richardson, and Ericka Horne came together to discuss how they go about Defining Public Health, In Plain Language within their communities. Bridging the gap in understanding between the field's complexities and practical explanations for the general public.
