Mary Schrag, PT, OCS, Cert MDT, is a seasoned physical therapist with 35 years of experience and a pioneer in private practice for over 30 years. She is the Owner and CEO of Physical Therapy Specialists Clinic, one of only 75 clinics worldwide certified by the McKenzie International Institute.
Beyond healthcare, Mary has shaped policy, education, and economic growth through leadership roles on the Missouri State Board of Education, the Missouri Board of Healing Arts, and the Missouri State University Board of Governors. She has also played a key role in teacher recruitment and retention efforts as part of the Blue Ribbon Commission.
On a global scale, she has advanced Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) research, serving as fundraising chair for the MDT Research Foundation, raising over $600,000, and representing the foundation internationally. In recognition of her contributions, she received the Bronze Lady International Excellence Award in 2015.
