West Coast College & University Wine Festival

In collaboration with the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce and Allan Hancock College began a new event for local wine tasters and purveyors of fine food. The West Coast College & University Wine Festival did not disappoint as it opened this last weekend featuring 7 colleges and a dozen eateries from the Santa Maria Valley. I attended and can tell you first hand it was a great event and my friends all concur. The festival also included a BBQ and a wine judging event honoring the wines with gold, silver and bronze medals with a Best of White Wine and a Best of Red Wine category that was announced LIVE at the event.
