In Episode 46 I talk to my friend Lucy Herd about her petition on Bereavement Leave to the UK Government. Lucy tragically lost her son Jack in 2010 and following his death Lucy was shocked to learn that in the UK there is no law requiring employers to give their employees times off. She goes into the detail about her petition and she also talks honestly about losing Jack, what helped her get through the grief and also what didn’t help her.
