Why Righteousness and Holiness are so Critical!

Why is it that righteousness and holiness is so important to  the LORD, yet is missing in entirety from the house of the LORD in the U.S.A? Leviticus 19:2 “Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.   Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. 1 Peter 1:14-16 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Matthew 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Shalom!
