Laodicean Church Age

Pastor James Ngugi shares the following:   Not only do we see the messenger coming here in Revelation 10:7, but we find that the word speaks of Elijah coming before Jesus returns: Matthew 17:10.   And His disciples asked Him, saying, why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?"  And Jesus said, "Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things." Before the coming of our Lord, Elijah must come back for a work of restoration in the church. This is what Malachi 4:5 says, Behold I send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse."
