Episode description

The Founders of the United States created a republic, not a Democracy. The struggle today is to keep that Republic, by taking it back from the control of the War Party. In celebrating America’s birth on July 4, Today’s Manhattan Project show celebrates the spirit of independent, revolutionary thinking that was characteristic of the economist, statesman, and eight-time United States Presidential candidate, Lyndon LaRouche. Today’s meeting occurs as organizers distribute the statement, “Will There Be Thermonuclear Fireworks By the Fourth of July?” A John Quincy Adams Brigade is presently in Europe, working with organizers of the Schiller Institute prior to the July 12-13 conference, ““Man Is {Not} A Wolf To Man: For A New Paradigm In International Relations.” All are invited to participate in that conference, which will be broadcast next week.
